Complaint: Upon receiving my credit report. I noticed there were items on my report that wasn't mine. I immediately started a dispute with each credit bureau and the debt collection company XXXX. The item a XXXX bill was taken off of all of my reports, just to reappear under a different collection agency. I then sent a verification letter to the new collection agency Diversified Consaltants asking for verification and all I received was a statement, no SSN or and other legal verification and all they did was update to info on my credit report. I'm more than sure this is not enough to verify a debt

Complaint: XXXX sent an account to collections. Then the account went to a collection agency. I called XXXX to settle the account and XXXX told me to call the collection agency- XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX and a representative told me that they no longer had the account and to call XXXX back. I then called XXXX to verify address. I mailed a settlement letter to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, in which XXXX accepted the {$550.00} & terms on XX/XX/XXXX. I have the letter and the cashed check from XXXX. The new collection agency is Diversified. Since XXXX accepted the terms in the Settlement letter - I no longer owe XXXX or any collection agency any money. If XXXX did not accept the terms of the settlement then they should not have cashed my check.

Complaint: Diversified consultants is reporting a collection account to all three credit reporting agencies. I have never had an account with diversified consultants. In the notes for the account it says that I had an account with XXXX. I do not owe XXXX or diversified consultants anything. I have not had any service with XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. Diversified Consultants in reporting the debt is as new as XX/XX/XXXX, which is wildly inaccurate for two reasons : I do not owe XXXX or Diversified Consultants any money and I have not had an account with XXXX for almost a decade. This seems like a shady practice to collect debts that are not owed.

Complaint: I have received 11 robocalls from XXXX since XX/XX/2018. Finally a human connected today. Person identified as calling from " Diversified Consultants on behalf of XXXX ''. Asked for my home address and last 4 of my social security number, without explaining why she wanted this info. When I asked why, she would not tell me. Nor would she give me the company address. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor XXXX joined the call. Again asked me for my address and social security number. I again asked WHY they wanted this information ; I do not want to provide this info to a telemarketer or scammer. XXXX said she would not tell me why they were calling unless I gave them my personal data. I refused, and asked for their company address so I could register a complaint with my state. XXXX hung up on me. I looked up the phone number online, and apparently Diversified Consultants is a debt collector. I have never been a XXXX customer. I don't have television/cable service. They never did say why they were calling, nor did they identify themselves as a debt collector.

It is NOT me, but when called by XXXX they asked my phone number and address to ( I thought ) show it wasn't me. Instead they entered my information on the account and are now using that to determine it is my debt. The XXXX account was in XXXX, Texas. I have never had XXXX nor have I ever lived in XXXX Texas. They refuse to correct the information they put on their account and when disputed by XXXX they state it is accurate. Of course it is since they put it there.
