Complaint: In XX/XX/2017, I switched from XXXX to another phone provider. Upon making that switch it was my understanding that my XXXX acct was closed from that day forward. XXXX failed to close my acct, and sent the acct to a collection agency for some sort of unpaid early termination fee. Where it is now reported to the credit bureaus as a charge off. The only way I found about this is through a recent loan application this came up when my credit report was pulled. I was never contacted from XXXX about these unpaid fees. I have since paid the debt in full trying to resolve the matter. When contacting XXXX they have been less helpful in this matter in removing the negative mark off my credit report which is now causing financial disruption in personal finances. I feel that this is an error on XXXX 's part and wish that this can resolved.

I can provide date and times if necessary ; I have explained to them that they have the wrong person ; there is more than one person with my name and they keep calling, they wanted by social security number but I refused, I asked them to read off the last four of the SS they have listed and it did not match mine : I instructed them that I am not the person they are looking for and to stop calling.
