Complaint: I've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by identitytheft.gov, I've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it, but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. Even the USPS tracking.My official complaint is against Diversified Consultants. My information was used to obtain an apartment, cell phone, and an auto loan with my ex-partner. I am a victim of identity theft and have put this off for too long. Complaint: I called diversified Consultants to understand why the report was not removed and they stated based on there contract with there companies that they are only obligated to report it as paid in full but not removed from the report. I was not informed that that it wouldnt be removed from the report. Just that it was reported as paid in full. Which I feel was miss leading of words and wasnt correctly informed to me. The rep I talked too has the power to remove it but because it wasnt stated in my original conversation when the acct was paid he said he would not have it removed from my report.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I submitted to company for validation not verification of debt according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They have reported negatively to all three credit agencies.I asked them to provide me with their license number, agent of service and that they are licensed to collect in my state. I also asked for a copy of any signed agreement that I have made with this Collection Agency or other verifiable proof that I have a contractual obligation to pay Collection Agency according to the FDCPA. They did not provide me this information, but instead sent a bill that is not even in my name. I paid the final bill and turned in the equipment, I lived in an apartment complex at the time I had service, which means that they have multiple accounts in one given unit. I left the residence and XXXX turned on service under the other 's name without properly closing out the account under my name. I am going through divorce issues, but that is no reason this is something this collection agency is going after me instead of the name on the account.

Complaint: this amount was supposed to be final payment to XXXX for TV and internet. It is really nothing to do with the final bill. I paid my final bill with XXXX. I had a problem with my receiver and called the technician for help. Talked to a supervisor about the problem. I was told by her the receiver was supposed to work like that. I told her it never worked that way before but the problem just started a few weeks ago. She told me there was nothing to be done about this issue. I then canceled my subscription with XXXX and went to XXXX. They then told me I should have given them a chance to resolve the issue. I did give them a chance and they wouldn't help. So this {$71.00} dollar + change was for early termination. I don't owe an early termination penalty, because they refused to help.

Complaint: There is a collection account on my credit report by the name of DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS showing a past due charge for {$1100.00}. After researching it a bit, I found that this name is associated by many other people to fraudulent charges for phone lines they never had or had already paid off and/or closed. It's stated as opened on XX/XX/2015 and is apparently related to a XXXX account, a phone service neither me or any of my immediate family has used recently or at any point to my knowledge. It came to my attention recently because, believing I had no credit at all, I applied for a savings account with XXXX XXXX XXXX and was made aware of the charge.

Complaint: I have filed a requested debt validation letter to a company called Diversified consultants. I received a letter back showing a statement only, from the original creditor with no signatures or copies of information I requested on XX/XX/2018. I resent another debt validation letter with a ( POA ) on XX/XX/2018 email. A certified letter was also sent and received by their office on XX/XX/2018. Diversified Consultants have failed to validate the debt as requested with the information we originally requested from the first letter on through the third letter. I have tracking number and emails to prove my complaint. In Texas you can request a validation of debt within 5 days if finding a mistake from our original validation request. Diversified Consultant has failed to re-send our requested validation of debt in a timely manner.

Complaint: A company Called diversefied consultants keeps reporting a debt from XXXX XXXX on my credit report. The dates are wrong, the balance is incorrect, everything is incorrect. I closed the account with a XXXX balance .... They offered free of charge to come pick up there equipment from my home and then a few months later sent me a bill for picking up the equipment and also at the same time for not returning the equipment. So they charged me for keeping the equipment and for them picking it up ... .. This is happening as well to alot of other consumers from what ive heard ... ... and its a scam and a crime. I work hard to keep my credit report atleast halfway decent, and if i charged something i would accept responsibility. But i didnt. And here is the kicker. Ive already had this removed from my report twice. And the credit bureas will remove it and then 6 months later let them re-report it ... ... Unreal ... so its back and forth with these scam artist blackmailing consumers. Ive heard rumors that my state attorney general is even looking directly into these con artist. I need help with this .... I shouldnt be punished for paying my bills on time and being a good citizen by some thugs intimidating people into paying them hundreds of dollarz for nothing or they will destroy your credit. Its sad that i have to take it this far. But i dont know what else to do ... .im so aggraveated, every account on my report is good standing perfect ... .and then there is this blackmail account dragging my score down so i cant get a home, a car, nothing because of XXXX XXXX and diversified consultants which im sure is just a dba of XXXX no doubt. What a scam. They have probably wrote the equipment off as a tax loss too when they know good and well they got it back.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 A XXXX contacted me from Diversified Consultants Incorporated. I asked XXXX to hold on a second and allow me to start my recorder. XXXX agreed and then began to reintroduce herself as I had asked of her. I explained to XXXX that I wanted this debt validated and wanted her to send proof of such to the address on file. XXXX continue to try and pressure me to make a payment on an account that I had no proof of me owning. When I proceeded to tell XXXX that I wanted that proof mailed out and nothing more, she said she would just keep calling me back. I do not appreciate being harassed by a company calling me from a private number from whom I have no relations with and who has no permission to call my home. I have not gotten anything in writing alerting me of this debt.

Complaint: I keep telling this company the same thing as I did with the individuals that are employed by them. I will start paying the {$150.00} dollars I owe for a XXXX cable bill. Complaint: I have sent 2 letters to Diversified Consultants about the debt they say I owe to XXXX. Both letters were sent certified and signed for. In the letters I repeatedly asked for them to send proof of the debt I owe and provide me with viable evidence, bearing my signature, showing the account is being reported accurately. Both times they have responded, they have not provided me with said documents. Instead they sent me a billing statement that is not accurate and has no signature from me.
