I had items removed from my credit report a couple of years ago from a different named debt collector but same address. I have never had any debt for the amount of {$1800.00} nor have I ever even heard of Diversified Consultants up until now. Diversified has never contacted to inform me of this alleged debt or to give me the right of disputing the validity of this alleged account. I am a victim of identity theft and this account is a direct result of identity theft. I have never had any dealings with Diversified or any company that they represent. I have never had a contract or obligations that would suggest that I owe Diverisied any monies.

I received a collection account on my credit report from a collections agency called Diversified Consultants Inc. the original creditor is XXXX and the balance is for {$4800.00}. It stated that this account is from XX/XX/2018. Ive never done business with XXXX or had any cellular service with them. Ive disputed this with XXXX and XXXX when this account was with another agency and it was deleted from my credit report. Ive even asked for validity of debt when it was with he former agency and received nothing. I simply want these agencies who are reporting this fraudulent account to my credit to stop collection attempts once and for all. Its causing issues with my near perfect credit history and just a big headache overall

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I ported my number from XXXX to XXXX XXXX and had a remaining balance. I contacted XXXX about my final bill and was informed that the final statement with all the cancellation notices would be ready by the next billing cycle at the end of XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to inquire about my final statement and I was informed that it would be mailed to my new address. I waited the required 14 business days but never received the statement. Between XXXX and XXXX I called three times requesting the bill. During that time Diversified Consultants contacted me regarding the bill. I disputed the charge and informed them that XXXX has not sent me the final statement. Diversified Consultants was suppose to confirm the debt with XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX and the call transcript number is XXXX who stated that the bill was not sent and that she would process another bill sent to me. Also during that conversation I was informed that my account would not be referred to collections and that a message would be let in the notes to not process for collections. It has been over a month and the XXXX statement still has not come to my address for view. On XX/XX/XXXX I checked my credit report and observe a collection account was added from Diversified Consultants. I contacted XXXX at XXXX and spoke with XXXX # XXXX on a recorded line who confirmed that the a note was left to process another statement but could not confirm if it was sent. I asked that the statement be emailed to me but she refused and referred me to go to a XXXX store and obtain it. I then spoke with her about the collection on my credit report and she stated that the account was being handled by the XXXX back office team whom I was not able to speak with because they have no direct number. XXXX then confirmed that the account was closed via XXXX database but they would still take payment on the account. XXXX confirmed that the account was being handled for collection purposes only by Diversified Collections and that they were not authorized to post negative information on credit reports. XXXX also confirmed that XXXX was still the legal owner of the account and that the account status for the account with XXXX was closed. At XXXX pm I spoke with XXXX at Diversified Consultants who them transferred me to XXXX in compliance at XXXX pm on a recorded line. I explained the situation to XXXX surround the collections action and the XXXX. XXXX stated on a recorded line that the collections account with Diversified Consultants would be closed and that it would be returned to XXXX. She also stated that the collection account reported on my credit report would be removed.
