I have spoken to representatives of diversified consultants and XXXX . My 1st dispute was submitted on XXXX XXXX 2017 with supporting documentation. They did not correct the problem. I submitted a second dispute on XX/XX/XXXX and I received the results yesterday and the update has not been corrected. The report still shows a balance of {$87.00} due and instead of the account being closed it says placed for collection.

Complaint: A Company Called Diversified Consultants be gan calling my cell phone multiple times a day. I would not answer the phone because I have no business with that company. They have added a collection account to my credit report. I do not have any business with this company and have no outstanding unpaid bills or charged of debt with this company or any other. I believe they have the incorrect person or they are trying to collect money from over 20 years ago. They have not mailed me any information about the debt and I will not speak to a collection office when I know I have no issues. I believe this company is engaging in debt collection in an illegal matter and should be investigated. I have disputed the account with the credit bureaus. If the account is not removed from the credit bureaus then I will pursue legal action for damages against Diversified Consultants. I am in the process of trying to buy a home and this has caused financial damage to my person. XXXX XXXX

Complaint: On X/XX/17, I contacted the Debt Collection Company by the name of DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX XXXX : Acct # XXXX, asking that they send me verification of the debt that supposedly I owed XXXX in the amount of {$240.00}, that 's appearing on the Credit File. I stated that the account had been paid prior to this amount being place on my credit file and asked that they provide me with Verification of the Debt. As of X/XX/17, Diversified has not responded. I also disputed the entry with the credit Bureau, such as XXXX, XXXX & XXXX, all XXXX ( XXXX ) have responded that the information has been vertified. When I contaced the credit Bureaus by phone, I asked what information did the company provide ( such as contract with my signature, names, bill or etc ) and was told they did not have that information available, that I need to contact the Creditor. Please help me get this inaccurate information removed. I may have owed XXXX but they were paid before this collection agency assumed the debt. Kindest regards, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: Why is n't Diversified Consultant providing me with the information I am requesting? I am being sent instructions to fill out fraud statements but that is not my concern. If this is really my account, I need to see the supporting documentation that proves this is a debt I truly owe. I filed a dispute on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX and I got the same exact answer I have been getting for months : " Fill out the attached fraud packet and mail it back to us. '' Neither I nor the CFPB have been provided with the information to support this is a valid debt. I specifically requested that validation of the debt be uploaded to this portal so the CFPB can conduct a closer investigation but once again, they are claiming to have " mailed '' it to my address. I have not receive a single document from this company and they continue to report this to my credit without being able to prove it is a valid debt. Not only that, in their letter they address me as " him ''. I am not a man, I am a woman and this is just another example of the scam this company is trying to play on me.

I was not granted the paperwork for proof of debt and or billing statement being disputed from XXXX and or Diversified Consultants INC. Re questing this company removed from my credit report any debt collections, we reached at a settlement and paid on XXXX the amount of XXXX $ I was told this would be removed from my credit report, however XXXX could request the addional XXXX . And could turn this over to a debt collector. Requesting an investigation, XXXX who hired this comp any Diversified Consultants Inc. To collect a deb, I need to know this is a true collections agency seeing nothing is listed in the State of Wisconsin . I also want this removed from our Credit report from XXXX XXXX , all debt collections seeing we were not able to receive information on billing debt from both parties. Note we have been in contact with XXXX , and requested to settle with XXXX directly, however no information was on file at XXXX , Since XXXX we have been disputing and requesting data from XXXX , which XXXX was not able to provide, In closing I would like a response to this investigation.
