Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I closed my account with XXXX XXXX XXXX cell phone service and went with a different company after my contract was up. I never received a final bill, email, or simple phone call. Almost an entire year later I received a random letter via USPS from **Diversified Consultants ( acct number XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX FL XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX stating I owed a {$290.00} for a cellphone device balance, not even for my service. The day I received the bill I immediately called and paid the balance over the phone with a respresentative by visa in full. I kept questioning her asking why I never had any knowledge of this before collections, but she avoided the conversation. Since I have NEVER been late with any bills and I " had '' a credit score of over 800 I wanted this negative action immediately off my record. Little did I know that this would remain on my credit report and negatively impact my score. Complaint: This incident jus recently happened this past weekend ( XX/XX/XXXX) during a purchase of a home that got shut down due to a mishap on my credit that we have been protecting for months. It was a collection agency affiliated with XXXX on a account that has been closed for a year or more now. There was no info notification or letters of any type that would have informed me so. They jus popped it on my credit and it dropped 50 points over something that doesn't exist, that's been closed with a confirmation number as well.Some action definitely needs to be taken for a fraudulent charge on myself that isn't active. If something isn't resolved there may be legal action looked into.

Complaint: We have a disputed account that is being claimed as owed by a collection agency that is not correct. We have no idea what the demand is for other than the Business name.
We think it is about an XXXX XXXX XXXX equipment return that we did at a local XXXX XXXX XXXX office where we returned equipment but their system was down. We were told everything would be okay and to just leave the equipment. The equipment was returned to an XXXX XXXX XXXX store on XXXX by the XXXX here in XXXX XXXX, Texas. Diversified is the collection agency assigned to collect but they have not provided me an account number nor have I received any collection letters. I have no clue what to do other than ask for help!

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I left XXXX XXXX XXXX carrier and thought that I would get better value with XXXX. When I came to XXXX I bought my XXXX XXXX to be activated. I did not like the service so I went back to XXXX XXXX XXXX.
The telephone number I have owned since XXXX. It was explained that I would get a final bill and that would finalize account XXXX account ( XXXX ). I got the bill approximately 2 weeks later and paid in full. This account I was told was associated with XXXX XXXX XXXX.
Every few months I would get a small bill that would still be due. I pay it and stills 8 months later another balance due, the way it is explained is that I don't pay by the next billing cycle on a close account which I was told was ( XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I got another bill for {$370.00}. I called them again asking them t explain why did a balance due for {$370.00}. No one really gave me a satisfying answer.
I paid the account not knowing at that time they were transferring the balances all along from a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account XXXX XXXX ) to me. The amount of {$21.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX, which they explained that its residual fees form my closed account ( XXXX ).
XXXX said that Diversified Consultants are the ones collecting on the account and that I had to report and register a fraud investigation with them. I asked that this be removed off my credit file as of XX/XX/XXXX it is reporting that I owe {$370.00}. Diversified credit said is because I owe the XXXX and if I paid that they would remove.
They are refusing to refund any monies ( XXXX and Diversified Consultant ) or take it off my credit file overthought they told me the balance was associated with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX not anything to do with XXXX as they originally told me.
If I had not went into the store on XX/XX/XXXX, i would not have known that they were transferring someone-else balance to me and making me liable for it My resolution that I an seeking is to be refund all monies paid and delete this from my credit files.

Complaint: Diversified Consultants is reporting collections to my XXXX union credit report from XXXX XXXX ; Acct # XXXX, date XX/XX/2016. Cable services were transferred to a different residential address but with the same cable provider. All outstanding charges were paid to XXXX, prior transfer of services or re connection. Per a XXXX representative, this old account isnt in collections ; nor was authorized to be sent to a collection agency. Ive sent multiple requests to have this false information validated and deleted from my credit report. Diversified has maliciously ignored my request. The next option is consulting legal action with my attorney, of this false information being report.

The balance was originated in XX/XX/2017 and paid in full in XX/XX/2017. I never received a collection notice from the above named Agency. I spoke only with the XXXX XXXX XXXX representatives. Complaint: Left many voicemails in regards to collections issues. It was removed afterwards only to be added again. I have disputed this several times previously with all bureaus and CFPB. Both the XXXX XXXX XXXX and the XXXX items. These debts have changed collection agencies too.Have these bureaus provided any correspondence by mail or when they actually attempted to or have spoken with me. They haven't tried to at any time. Its also been disputed with XXXX XXXX. I have many times with XXXX and they sent my information back in the name of XXXX XXXX with no reference to the items I disputed and in someone else 's name with my information. Only account standing but no collections information. This has been sold more than once, why cant the bureaus do something about this and I don't understand if I was paying the original creditor how it could be turned over to an agency anyway? I sent a letter regarding the same and they then changed the amount they stated I owed.It also disputed it and had it removed. How can I owe them both? I had many issues with XXXX acct # XXXX and contacted the FCC regarding and was allowed to port my number after the dispute to XXXX. At which time my bill was substantially reduced due to erroneous charges.
For XXXX # XXXX I contacted the collection service XX/XX/18 and also sent proof of the new insurance with XXXX. I switched from XXXX because declarations were being removed that I hadnt requested, policy increases but no information on and no return calls after two voicemails were left. I notified XXXX before I switched and after they send a premium request on XX/XX/18. I spoke to XXXX in XXXX @ XXXX on XX/XX/18 XXXX XXXX.I advised of having new insurance. I currently don't owe XXXX any monies, so the XXXX they are trying to collect isnt correct. My premium was XXXX, so how do they have the wrong amount as well?
