Complaint: My mortgage company keeps sending third parties to my house to do site inspections. I have contacted them via writing to let them know that we are currently living in the house. The company replied to me regarding my request to have them stop their site inspections. The letter dated XX/XX/2017 stated that " please note, inspections will continue as deemed necessary ''. The reason I asked them to stop is that our son suffers from chronic mental health conditions. When he sees strange people walking in our driveway and taking pictures it causes mental health distress for him. I also suffer from panic disorder and these actions are detrimental to my family 's well-being. My understanding is that as long as I am communicating with them stating that we still live there ( which I have been ) that there is no need to continue to inspect the property.

Complaint: I have a mortgage with DITECH. I came out of XXXX XXXX bankruptcy on XXXX XXXX, 2016 and DITECH was notified of such on XXXX XXXX, 2016. However DITECH still has my account under bankruptcy status preventing me from being able to refinance. I had my attorney send DITECH a letter requesting change in status but there was no response. DITECH refuses to communicate with me. I need the status updated.

Complaint: I have submitted a Complete modification package to Ditech and on XX/XX/2017 I was denied. I do not agree with the denial letter due to incorrect Income. On XX/XX/2017 i submitted a appeal and request for a second review of which was properly sent and received. I do not agree with the modification decision and my denial letter states that i have the right to appeal the decision within 30 days of the denial letter. I have complied with all the terms of the denial letter and have submitted my appeal to Ditech, however Ditech have not responded to the appeal and have purposely disregarded my loss mitigation assistance appeal and are proceeding with the foreclosure of my home on XX/XX/2017.

Complaint: We closed on our loan in XX/XX/2015. A short time later it was sold and started to be serviced by Ditech. That was the beginning of the worst customer service experience of my life. When our property taxes were due, I checked my account and saw that they were not being paid. Of course, the money had been escrowed on time but no payment was being made for taxes. I sent an email to their customer service to find out what was happening. I got a standard letter within a week telling me they would look into it and I could expect an answer within 30 days. I tried waiting patiently but as I checked my account with the town, I saw interest starting to be added because the payment was so late. So, this time I called the customer service number and after being transferred a few times spoke with someone in that department.
The rep told me that they were n't being paid because my town needed to send them something to prompt payment and once that happened, they would be paid. So I checked with my town and they told me the same thing was sent to Ditech that is sent to all other mortgage servicing companies. Here we go. I call Ditech again and have to start all over as they do n't seem to have record of my previous inquiries. What happens next? I get another form letter exactly like the last one telling me they will look into it. Still no tax payment and interest keep getting added. Again, I try to wait but my husband ends up calling and finds out that from who he talked to that the problem was that our account was not set up correctly. It was marked as a " self-pay '' for taxes even though they have been collecting our money for escrow every month. OK, so mistakes happen, I just wanted it fixed and to get those taxes paid as we were now a few months late.
I contacted the town again and told them what was happening and they told me they would let me know once they received payment. Great. Payment was finally made but Ditech used my escrow money to pay the interest that had accrued from being so late!!! What?? They made an administrative error in setting up our account yet they used our money to correct their error? That is just unacceptable. So, my husband called again and the rep he spoke with that time told him she saw everything in their system and she would put the request in to refund us the money taken from our account to pay the interest. Great, that is all I wanted. Weeks go by and nothing.
Finally, my husband called back and they said the request was denied. Seriously??? So I sent one final email because I wanted it in written form and told them how miserable their customer service was and that I would give them 14 days to make this right or I would begin to explore other avenues to file a complaint. What do I get? Another form letter to tell me they would look into and I would have a response within 30 days. That was in late XX/XX/XXXX and it is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have gotten no refund and no response. They have got to be the absolute worst in customer service I have ever seen. It is unfortunate you can not choose who services your loan because if you could, I would not go near this company ever again.

Complaint: CFPB, this is the third time I am having to submit this complaint against Ditech/Green Tree. My second attempt to file a complaint against this unethical mortgage/collection company, was verbally taken by one of your CFPB representatives. I made it specifically clear to him in XXXX of XXXX, that my second complaint was to clearly dispute Ditech/Green Tree 's unacceptable reply to my original complaint filed through you, CFPB, in XXXX of XXXX.
The corrupt unethical business practices that Ditech/Green Tree conducted against me, as well as thousands of homeowners, has been well documented for years - subsequently with a class action lawsuit against them that was settled. I am definitely involved with the abusive, unethical business practices that they conducted against us, the homeowners. I began having issues with Ditech/Green Tree around XXXX when they purposely stopped taking my payments ( claiming never to receive them ), illegally added late fines, stopped taking my phone calls when I repeatedly filed for a home modification, repeatedly endured unethical unprofessional-ism by most of their representatives with XXXX XXXX making a completely insensitive comment regarding my XXXX father, repeated lies of not receiving my paperwork, etc. etc. All of this ... all of their unethical business practices caused me great personal damage! Aside from demanding all of the late fines they implemented to my loan, I want compensation for all of their abuse! I am owed financial compensation! Their reply to my first submitted complaint was a generic reply ; stating that they had worked with me in trying to give me a modification. Lies! They purposely conducted their unethical business practices, THAT FORCED ME TO FIGHT FOR MY HOME. They subsequently sold my loan to another mortgage/collection company - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to get out from under my complaints against them!
I want and am legally owed significant compensation for their blatant unethical business practices conducted against me - as well as all of the personal injury ( financial, health, personal issues ) factors that I had to endure. RETURN MY MONEY YOU ILLEGALLY ADDED TO MY LOAN BECAUSE YOU PRACTICED UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Complaint: I had to declare bankruptcy over five years ago. When I filed I told the attorneys to leave my house out because I was n't behind on mortgage payments. Much later I found out my house was included in the bankruptcy, even though I was n't behind on payments. Someone was awarded XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX, Green Tree and, ditech, they all denied receiving the money. The firm handling my bankruptcy would n't help me unless I paid them more money. When the bankruptcy was up I was one month ahead on payments, ditech sent my loan to collection. I refinanced my loan through XXXX. ditech sent them a payoff amount, it was payed, two months later I received a bill from ditech stating I still owed them over XXXX. Ditech mortgage is robbing people. I want to know where the XXXX awarded in the bankruptcy ended up and, how to get it back. My heart goes out to ditech customers. REFINANCE before it happens to you!!

Complaint: I had a mortgage with Green Tree and now I see it 's Ditech. I would get calls saying the mortgage was n't paid or was behind so I figured the ex wife forgot and paid it. This went m for yes. For some reason it seem like they were always saying it was behind. I seem to see money being taken out by Green Tree and never gave them authorization to. One day after my device I got a call from them say my ex wife was 6 months behind so end up paymg the whole 6 month. At the end of 2012 I got something from them saying they were forclousung on me and it was n't behind. I got so sick of them I so go head. I had a manufactured home. The came and repo it, sold it and never removed the money from the total. Now they are say I owe them XXXX. That is not true. For all the year of double charging me and selling it they should be a XXXX balance.

Complaint: Ditech reported my account as " Bankruptcy '' rather than " Cash for Keys '' settlement. On XX/XX/XXXX, in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Court in FL, CASE No. XXXX, Ditech-Green Tree agreed to pay me {$4000.00} upon vacate the property and waive the deficiency. Ditech has neglected correcting my correct account status to the XXXX consumer credit agencies despite my several calls and formal request via certified mail on XX/XX/XXXX. Ditech also has neglected to close my account and provide the XXXX form for XX/XX/XXXX taxes. On XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I took Ditech to the XXXX XXXX Court to enforce the court order payment of {$4000.00}. Judge granted me the payment and filed a sanction against Ditech in my favor of {$500.00} for my expenses. I am asking for your help. Ditech needs to be more responsible and accountable providing timely and accurate information to their customer, public, and consumer credit agencies.

Complaint: My mortgage company, Ditech, withheld funds I paid for the mortgage in an unapplied account because they changes the escrow amount. I was n't notified and no change showed to the amount paid on my account on the website. The company then repeatedly made derogatory marks on my credit report while I was trying to contact them to get responses. When they finally responded, they said they were holding my money in a separate account without my knowledge.
