Complaint: Ditech mortgage, how many complaints is it going to take to have cfpb do something about this company? This company holds a note on a property next door, abandoned, health and safety issue, drug den. I cant get insurance on my home due to this property, owners are gone for the last XXXX yrs. no payments were made for XXXX yrs. no forclosure. I offered to buy it to tear down, asked them to fix it or tear it down. called several times. told them I was recording the call they hung up immediately. { thought it was funny they always say we are recording this call for quality } lmaof. I feel companies like this should be held accountable for their and wonder what cfpb can do about these complaints. with the number of complaints, I would think something has been or is in the process of being done. Yes I am getting legal rep. at this point. I am also logging complaints with every agency and my local and state representatives.

Complaint: I was faithfully paying my mortgage payment from the time, Ditech Financial took over and transfer our notes from XXXX. No missed payment nor late payments as a proof, I can send all evidences of all my mortgage payments in the future. We kept on sending our mortgage checks to Ditect before the XXXX of every month as stipulated from our Deed of Trust, unbeknownst after researching from our bank account 's that our last mortgage check was only cashed since XXXX? We continued to send mortgage payments from XXXX and XXXX and Ditech never cash out anymore those mortgage payment checks we sent to them? I am a XXXX and my work schedules were so hectic besides taking care with my little children. Therefore, I communicated with them through mail immediately. I was asking why Ditech does n't want to cash our XXXX and XXXX mortgage payments checks and they want my homestead to proceed on for foreclosing in which me and my husband will not allowed for any reason. Therefore, we requested Ditech to process our Loan for the Federal Home Affordable Modification Program that is still available until XXXX and until now Ditech is not yet responding from our request until this moment. XXXX had done their abusive collection tactics by their agents in posting notes of threats in front of doors of our home. I am requesting for your good office to investigate the unlawful conduct of on their repeatedly harassing and abusive collections on our property that our members of our family were threatened while we were out of work. They always come inappropriate hours. They always come even after I have communicated Ditech by mail. They repeatedly doing their illegal debt collection practices. I appreciate so much for your cause of helping us under your provision on protecting homeowners as well consumers from Mortgage Companies based on your discretion under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on Debt Collection Act.

Complaint: Ditech Financial LLC has mismanaged my escrow account for my FHA loan. They have mis-appropriated funds and refuse to correct this. The following is a portion of a letter I sent them today : I contacted your office by telephone on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to verify payment of my upcoming tax bill, due XXXX. It was discovered that you were preparing to send the wrong amount of money to the wrong county for the wrong address ; I advised your representative not to do that. Your representative assured me that, even though it might take 14 to 21 days to get right, your company would pay any late fees incurred on my account which was due XXXX. I asked her to have her supervisor call me back. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called the Escrow Dept. and spoke with a man whose name was unclear XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX? XXXX. He informed me that the " escalation '' was completed incorrectly by " research '' on XXXX and he assured me he was " escalating '' it and it should take 7 - 10 days and re-iterated that Ditech would be responsible for any late fees. I asked him to have someone call me in 10 days then. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called you and spoke with XXXX. She informed me that in fact the wrong amount of money ( {$880.00} ) went to the wrong place ( XXXX County ) and they did not bother to pay my taxes to XXXX County for XXXX XXXX, making my taxes on my home delinquent. A month earlier I had warned your company that you had a problem with my account, but you failed to take any reasonable action. I asked XXXX where to write with a complaint and she offered me a fax number. This will do as much good as phone calls. I asked that she have her supervisor call me. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I personally verified with the XXXX County Tax Collector that in fact you had failed your responsibility to pay the property tax. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I sent a message via Ditech.com. requesting someone call me. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I sent another message via Ditech.com requesting someone call me. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I spoke with the XXXX County Tax Collector in person and confirmed that the you finally made the delinquent payment and the late fee which they received on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Also around XXXX I received a letter from you dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX stating your company had received my question about my account on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and that I would " receive a written response within thirty ( 30 ) days from the date we received your correspondence. '' Also provided was the number for Customer Service. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX after discovering yet another unauthorized disbursement I called your Customer Service number provided with your letter and spoke with XXXX. She informed me that it looked like on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX you sent {$460.00} to XXXX County for a tax lien. She could tell me nothing else, including why your employees refuse to call. I asked her to have her supervisor call me and she transferred me to Tax Dept. where, after a 3 minute wait, I spoke with XXXX. XXXX got my account number and then asked to put me on hold. About 4 minutes later she came back on and said she saw there was a problem, I asked her specifics and she started to double talk. I asked her how and why you had not fixed a problem you were made aware of on XXXX and she did not know. She then stated that money would not be restored to my account until the third parties who received the funds you took from my account returned them. I am not sure how your malfeasance is someone else 's problem. I requested she have her supervisor call me back. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I received a letter dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX stating that you were " ..in the process of reviewing your written request ... '' and " Our research is not concluded. '' This is colloquially referred to as " XXXX ''.

Complaint: In mid-XX/XX/XXXX of last year, XX/XX/2016, I took a cash-out refinance with XXXX. The title company was XXXX. The closing disclosure contained a 'clerical error ' that was caught hours before the loan was to close and long after the signed and notarized documents were received by the Title and Lender. Having been informed at the last minute of this {$1000.00} error, not in my favor, I was forced to sign a revised CD. Now, it turns out that my previous lender, Ditech, did not receive the full payoff amount from the title company. Unbeknownst to me until I pulled my credit report last week, ditech has been reporting me to the credit agencies and levying late fees etc ... I have called and left VM 's and emails, but Ditech is not responding. I need to know how short the payoff amount was and why this happened. I especially need to know where Ditech has been sending my bills and other correspondence. I will ultimately request that they waive any late fees, interest, etc ... that have accrued since the 'payoff ' and that they immediately communicate with the credit agencies to get these negative reports removed. Please contact Ditech and any of the other listed parties that held a fiduciary duty to me as the consumer through that refinance. Thank You! XXXX

Complaint: Complaint # XXXX Ditech- Re-occurring Issue New Complaint My home loan was Originally with XXXX then Greentree now being serviced by Ditech, .I believe XXXX XXXX thru today XXXX. I have been expeirncing much difficulty with this company.. In the Months of XXXX Thru XXXX of XXXX I have been seen discrepancies I am on a BI-Monthly payment which is every other Friday deducted out of my XXXX bank account. I started to notice in XXXX, XXXX Late charges being applied to my account, when I called they said it was a computer err and would ask that the fee be removed, Again the following month another Past due charge was applied ... I called again ... " They will request this be waived '', Computer err my account is in good standing ... Then come XXXX ... I get a NON so Nice man Beating on my door, handing me a notice to Call Ditech.. I call they say, well that 's strange nothing 's wrong your account is in good standing ... then I receive a letter notifying me that there has been a collection agent assigned to my account XXXX at XXXX ... PLEASE CALL " This communication is from a Debt collector. I call .... They say well that 's strange, your account is in Good Standing ... THEN on XXXX I receive a Notice : This letter is to inform you about a Loss Mitigation : Temporarily Forbearance Agreement, which gives you time to pay your monthly obligation, If I are unable to make my payments, my best option was to call XXXX to find more AFFORADABLE Housing or loss Mitigation .... Again This communications is from a Debt collector Ditech- In an attempt to collect a debt, the longer you wait or the further you fall behind on your payment, the harder it will be to find a solution. Every time I call Ditech, I have to start from the beginning to be transferred to a supervisor only to be disconnected ... After 10 Calls or MORE, I spoke with XXXX a supervisor and explained the letter I had received in reference to the Forbearance, he said well that 's strange your account is in good standing. When I asked that this letter of collection be retracted he clearly declined saying that last letter was only a sales tool and did NOT need to be retracted. I explained to XXXX I am a XXXX and working for a XXXX that I know what a forbearance agreement is, He stated : I DON '' T want or need to hear again that you 're a XXXX and do n't need to know that you know what a Forbearance agreement is, this was just a sales tool to allow us to refinance you loan with Ditech. NO WE WILL NOT RETRACT THE STATEMENT your account is in good standing Now in XXXX XXXX, I mailed Ditech a check in the amount of {$850.00} as an Escrow payment due to changing my homeowners insurance, Clearly Marked " ESCROW '' Ditech received this payment on or about the XXXX, they unapplied the payment then took the funds as a future payment, but my Principal balance continues to Increase not decrease ... Before they applied this payment my Balance on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX was {$38000.00}, the statement of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX shows XXXX The pay-off quoted to me on XXXX was {$39000.00} which did not include any XXXX or XXXX Payments, as they tried to tell me that the {$850.00} went toward the XXXX payment so I canceled them from withdrawing any more funds from my XXXX account and mailed them my payment for XXXX XXXX well before the due date. Now ca n't they show me where the {$850.00} payment went or how it was applied, when again my account was in Good Standing and they take Bi-Weekly withdrawals out of my XXXX Checking account ... When I call them all I get is transferred many times and hung up on

I have contacted them at least 5 times to correct the error, yet they still show me as being in arrears in my payments despite assurances by their customer services personnel that the misposting will be corrected. Complaint: Ditech processed payments incorrectly and did not rectify in a timely manner which resulted in my having to pay a lock extension fee when I went to refinance. All of this is explained in the attached letters. I have been extremely patient with Ditech. They have sent me several letters saying they are looking into the issue, but it has been over 4 months now. The loan has since been closed because I refinanced, but the issue and outtstanding resolution are straightforward.

Complaint: Ditech Financial LLC who is my mortgage lender was mistakenly paying property taxes to a different parcel number or property with my escrow account for the year of XX/XX/XXXX, this led to having delinquent taxes on my property, placing my property under tax lien. Because property taxes were n't getting to my property, it also caused an escrow shortage on my account. although the delinquent taxes has been settled recently after going back and forth with Ditech for couple of months and dealing with bad customer service, the escrow shortage is still in effect which made my new monthly payment increased tremendously. The delinquent taxes has been settled last XX/XX/XXXX, on that same day I did a follow up call to make sure that they will run a new escrow analysis on my account so that my new monthly payment will be re-adjusted. I did another follow up call last XX/XX/XXXX a month after the settlement to ask why my new monthly payment still indicates a higher amount and was not re-adjusted. I learned that no escrow analysis was initiated after the settlement. Now Ditech is requiring me to pay the new monthly payment which is very high compared to my current monthly payment, the Ditech representative noted that they can not rebalance my new monthly payment until they receive the tax refund. This has caused me a lot of stress and loss of time dealing with Ditech back and forth in an ERROR that was not even from my part.
