I have conducted a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to add as evidence of their being no debt under the name used in or on this account given from Discover Bank along with a Court Ordered Adult Name Change filed as completed. XXXX XXXX XXXX has also sent a letter stating that their going to charge off the account by Grantor when their are the Obligated party to pay such debt as mentioned in my Affidavit of Fact which went uncontested For the Record that falls into Default Judgement as well.

Complaint: On this date XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the Financial Hardship Dept. of Discover Card, XXXX asking to be enrolled in the Payment Assist. Program because I can no longer afford paying Discover {$97.00} a month, I was denied of the right to have access to the assistance program stating that XXXX does not have such a program and they could only lower the interest to 12.99 % if the account was suspended and I have to disclosed my bank account information and pay them immediately another {$97.00} before the due date of my next monthly bill which is XX/XX/XXXX. Please investigate as I find Discover Card has corrupt business practices and should not deny assistance when a consumer initiates the first step in good will to stay in good standing. Thank you.

Trouble with how payments are being handled
Complaint: I would like to file a formal complaint on how discover student loans has handled a payment on my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I schedule a one-time payment of {$12000.00} to pay off my outstanding student loan through the DiscoverStudentLoans.com website and my log in. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the payment was pulled from my XXXX Bank Account ending in XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX I received confirmation from Discover that the payment in the correct amount was being applied to my loan. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the payment has yet to be applied. I have contacted via the phone and their message center multiple times each but keep getting asked to send in more documentation. They have not been diligent on follow-up of this matter. As a lender, this is unacceptable that any payment not be applied immediately to the account in which is was sent for. This makes we question whether all of my previous payments were applied accurately over the lifetime of this loan. I have attached my bank statement showing the payment, the confirmation letter, and screenshots of my online account where the payment has not been applied as of today. I am also sure that is was noted elsewhere that in XX/XX/XXXX Discover took incorrect payment amounts from what sounded like thousands of customers from the letter they sent out after having to reverse and re-withdraw XX/XX/XXXXpayments.

Complaint: I try reaching out to Discover credit let them know that I did not receive services company called XXXX XXXX.There was a charge like {$360.00} that I disputed twice and so Discover is saying they are not going to dispute.The company sent Discover credit card some fraudulent paper stating that all sales are final but no services were ever performed.I submitted a dispute with CFPB about this issues with XXXX XXXX how they are making racial slurs and cursing at me over the phone.They pretty much took my money keep changing the phone numbers somewhere in the XXXX .I spoke to some name XXXX in the dispute department and she is giving me runarounds after I explained what going but keep insisting they are not going dispute the information.

The Staements alleges I am correct the items are fraudulent and have given me a " allegedly given me a statement that all the interim credits are now permanen as their fraud investigation department agrees with me! I spoke to a Discover yesterday who I was attempting toe informed what credits I have been given, and what not, she became beligeren and contrary to their prior ations and statements to me by other members of the fraud and security department Discover, refuses to even allow me to see my statement not have use of the money we both agree is properly in my account, available for my use, but this woman has arbitrarily denied me use of the money Disocver as part of my Credit Card, has set aside for my use, which is account, I my ability to have a card to access the funds has been removed by Discovery. Independently I have attempted to determine the person who has hacked the account, and want to work to help Discovery catch him -- but they refuse.

Complaint: My wife XXXX XXXX mistakenly overpaid Discover billing of over {$16000.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. After the Discover Credit statement came on the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX, finding the mistake my wife had contacted Discover Card customer service on the week of XX/XX/XXXX and requested a refund check back. We have been promised on the week of XX/XX/XXXX that we should get a check sent to our home in three weeks by Discover Customer Service on XX/XX/XXXX we had contacted Discover Customer Service ( CS ) and was told the check should be there Monday on XX/XX/XXXX. A statement from discover came, but no check. Contacted a Discover CS supervisor and he had found that a check was started and then dropped. The supervisor offered a {$15.00} transfer fee to wire to our bank, because he said this should never happened and it should be no longer than two days for wire transfer to my bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had contacted a CS supervisor on XX/XX/XXXX was it could take three days for wire transfer on Friday XX/XX/XXXX a supervisor put me on hold for an hour and came back to say he could not find out anything and would keep on top of it, asked for my phone number because he was sure to call me back ; he never did. One time I called after that and received a message about you won a free cruise because of a survey, all I had to do was to pay port fees and then the phone line went dead. Other attempts were made to get our money back to no avail. The latest Discover would give a time line when we could receive our money back and stated " We must follow certain guidelines when a credit balance refund is requested on an account. ''

Complaint: I applied for a Discover Secured Card. I was denied based on " Status of existing or prior Discover Card Account ''. When I contacted Discover, I was advised that my previous card was not closed, as reported to the CRBs, but REVOKED. I asked why, and was told that the revoked card was due to a delinquency from another card ( XXXX ), which was an error on my credit report and has since been removed. Discover said that even though the previous account was closed due to the error, they will NOT remove that status, and with that Revoked status, I am denied credit. So essentially the error is still a factor in my application and I am being denied credit because Discover is using information from a 2015 credit report that contains an error instead of using the updated report which has no derogatory information. I believe this is in contravention of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Discover is basing a decision to deny credit using outdated information and is refusing to use current data. I have requested that Discover reconsider using current information, and was told because of the derogatory notation, " at that point in time '' ( 2015 ), my application would NOT go forward.
