Complaint: First of all I would like to say that I am uncertain which category I needed to select, but I believe several would qualify. OnXX/XX/XXXXandXX/XX/XXXX I wanted to see what Bitcoin was all about. I thought I had an understanding, but clearly do not with regards to Coinbase. I purchased {$400.00} total via a XXXX credit card. I have had issues with Support from Coinbase from the get go! You can get NO SUPPORT from this company. I submitted support requests online, only to get automated responses that there is a delay in getting your issue or questions answered or resolved. I have called the Customer Support #, only to be on an eternal hold and no one answers. I want to close my account and will forfeit any profit made thru Coinbase. I was unaware that I would be required to submit a picture of my photo ID, front and back, to Coinbase .... and I am unwilling to do so for fear of my identity being stolen. I believe Coinbase is operating fraudulently and should definitely be looked at or closed down! Thank you! XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX

Complaint: I bought bit coin through Coinbase and was filled way outside of the bid and ask. The ask was at {$18000.00} and I was filled at {$19000.00}. {$670.00} over the ask. It is impossible to contact the company. I tried calling their phone number I have been on hold for over 2 hours and no answer. When I 'm on their website and click on the link to contact by email, it does n't go to an email ; it goes to a chat window controlled by a bot and you can never reach a human or anything other option. Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Amount : XXXX $ ( XXXX XXXX coins, XXXX XXXX and XXXX $ from bank account ) I went and searched XXXX on XXXX. XXXX search gave suggestions of XXXX. The first link was a AD Link and i went on a clicked on it. As XXXX and Coinbase XXXX and have same user details. All the corresponding pages came as usual as login. 1 ) Coinbase OATH page for username and password 2 ) I entered the username and password next page was 2FA authentication enter the 2FA. 3 ) Got a message saying its taking longer time as XXXX servers are down. 4 ) Later got page saying first time login you have to authorize the page. Click here to access your account 5 ) i clicked the link and enter my email details later got error try after 24 hours. My account was spammed and hacked. I had XXXX XXXX coins and XXXX XXXX in coinbase and 4 XXXX coins in XXXX. and My bank account was linked to coinbase. Hacker took XXXX worth XXXX $ and has transfer to unknown account. I reported this issue to coinbase with in two hours. I would have done much earlier but wait time was more for coinbase support. The support team said they will investigate but till now i have n't seen any response and even my coinbase account is locked and have called many times still no response. Informed XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX that the transaction is not authorized and requested for a claim as my debit card has XXXX $ liability.but they came back saying the transaction is legal as i have done this transaction earlier. Have reopened a case and have send all the attachments.

Complaint: I have used coinbase for years now to hold some of my cryptocurrency investments, I have assets in both coinbase and XXXX, coinbases exchange, current value probally around {$25000.00}. Coinbase uses 2factor authorization for signing which is good, it is a safety measure. The problem is, I got a new phone and 2 factor authorization is not on my new phone. I tried for hours setting this up on XX/XX/XXXX, deleting and installing the app on my phone, trying to reset my account which led to the point of my account being suspended and locked and I need to contact support to reset everything. I have cases with coinbase and they are not unlocking my account. I have called 3 times after a 45 minute hold saying they dont have a timeframe to unlock my account. The representative says someone is working on it and typical time is 3 to 4 business days. It has been over a week now, they are not responding to emails and I just want my account unlocked. I use other exchanges and this did not happen, it was easy to update, coinbase makes it difficult and then they have no support to help when their are issues I also recently moved, so I have a new address and I am sure this is going to make this even more difficult to resolve and my next step is to just have a attorney collect my assets. It seems a little over board to get account reset.

Complaint: Coinbase.com provided special access keys after I deposited funds. The ID, XXXX, and " Secret Seed '' provided by Coinbase do not work and I 'm locked out of my account. Coinbase has a phone number that never gets answered even after hours on hold. They auto drop many calls. The email support is almost non existent and takes a week or longer to get a reply that does not fix anything. I 've have been trying for many weeks to get any support from them but it is impossible.

Complaint: Sent a wire on XXXX XXXX, 2017 to Coinbase for {$20000.00} to deposit into my account with them. The name on the check did not match with the name on the account at Coinbase so they sent an email saying that they were wiring the money back to the bank. I have the email, the wire transaction when it was sent and I have been emailing them every day and trying to call. No one answers the phone and I get a generic email back saying that they are overloaded and will contact me. It has been almost a month and still no response and no money sent back.

Complaint: I have been trying to complete the ID verification process at Coinbase Inc for the past two days. Their system indicates that customers will experience slow response times. There is only one way to upload and ID for verification via the app and no other option. My funds are being held hostage as I can not execute a sale until they verify my driving license. Very poor experience - I was also on hold for over an hour. Likely a similar experience for many others.

Complaint: Company : Coinbase XXXX : XXXX On XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX I sold XXXX units of XXXX on the coinbase exchange for {$480.00} after fees. Transaction code # XXXX shows completed on their website yet the funds were not received. Payment method chosen was XXXX internal USD Wallet. Coinbase states that funds from sales will be available within minutes of a sale. As of this filing the proceeds from the sale have not been received. I filed a case with Coinbase Support, Case # XXXX, at XXXX XXXX XXXX on the same evening. I have yet to receive a response or acknowledgement of the issue from their customer support as of the filing of this complaint. Just to be clear, this is money never received from the sale of the coin within the coinbase system. There were no funds ever sent to any external addresses.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I did two transfer of XXXX every transfer so in total XXXX but in my coinbase account is XXXX when I call customer service support they told me that there was a delay in the SEPA transfer but XX/XX/XXXX I did a test with small among of money I transfered XXXX andi arrive one day later to my coinbase account. I am really scared because The service support told me that They do n't see the wires transfer from my side, but it is really weird because after the two transfer in my coinbase account in Method of payment appeared my bank account number and I have never put the data inside. The Ticket number that customer service gave me are XXXX. They can find more information about transfer documents with all the details inside. XX/XX/XXXX I talk with my bank and they are claiming to his bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) the transfers what I did because the answer of Coinbase is that both transfers never arrived.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I wire transferred a total of {$7200.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX for the purpose of crypto currency investments. The website stated Please note that the name on your bank account must match the legal name on your XXXX account for the wire to be accepted. I did not know this initially and I deposited the money using 2 different bank accounts that belonged to my husband and sister in law as we are all interested in investing. The wire transfer is suppose to appear in my account within 1-2 days and after I did research on why it hadnt arrived, I came to the conclusion it must be because of the different names on my Coinbase account and husbands/sister in laws bank accounts. However the wire transfers showed completed on both bank accounts with no funds in my XXXX account. I am worried the money is just lost now and Im out {$7200.00}. I debited {$250.00} from my husbands checking account and wire transferred {$5000.00} as well. Then using my sister in laws account, I wire transferred {$2000.00}. I have tried contacting XXXX directly through their customer support number and no one answered after waiting in line for about 3 hours. I have also emailed them with no response. How should I proceed about this? What is the next step I should take?

Complaint: I made an small investment, around {$150.00}, into bitcoin through the wallet application know as Coinbase. I was allowed to add my bank no problem, be charged for my transaction but am constantly being refused ID verification, with an error message reading that I do n't have enough presence in public data. I have a valid ID, a Valid bank account with which i invested already but dont have enough presence to be given the same treatment as someone else verifying their ID. I would like to have free range on my investment and not be locked in to a system that only allows me to invest but not profit.
