Complaint: I have been locked out of my virtual currency account. Coinbase has my money trapped inside there system. I went to use my account one day and coinbase had logged me out, I went through the 2 step verification process and for no fault of my own the verification failed. As a result my account is locked with roughly XXXX inside which can not be accessed. I have emailed, rang, posted to XXXX and XXXX and although I have received a reply telling me they are processing my request it has now been locked since the XXXX of XXXX. My case number is XXXX. I simply want the account unlocked as there is nothing wrong with it and I have reset the password as coinbase requested.

Complaint: I was disabled from purchasing on coinbase and my access to XXXX trading page was disabled and I should contact support.
I contacted support on XXXX XXXX, got my case filed under XXXX ID : XXXX but nothing happens.
I 'm afraid that this is just another fraud operation as I have around XXXX $ and I can not get to them or move them to any other wallet.

Complaint: I 've made a wire transfer with the amount of {$35000.00} XXXX from my bank account to a cryptocurrency exchange XXXX and my deposit was not posted on their website or returned to my bank account as promised. I made the transfer on the XXXX of XXXX XXXX. They said it would take XXXX business day on their website for the deposit to be posted. XXXX days later I opened a support ticket on their website since the deposit have n't posted yet, after XXXX days they email me back with an general reply that my deposit would either be posted in XXXX business days or will be return within XXXX business days to my originated bank account if there is a problem. Complaint: On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, I transferred close to XXXX coins of Bitcoin Cash valued at roughly {XXXX} from XXXX to my XXXX wallet. The transaction made it into the Coinbase wallet but never arrived into the XXXX wallet.
On XXXX, it currently says it 's Pending and it will be released at whatever the current time and date it is when you observe it, however, the funds are n't available.
When you look up the transaction, you 'll see that it was confirmed on the XXXX and spent on the XXXX meaning that the transaction was completed and that XXXX is now holding the funds.
I 've been emailing and calling Coinbase support multiple times for the past seven days with no answer at all other than one template email with an FAQ page that does n't address my issue. I have not spoken to one real person and they are simply ignoring me and holding my money ransom.
I sent over my funds to XXXX because I wanted to sell when each coin was XXXX XXXX+ but I was not able to so. Coinbase has made me lose potential profits because the coin has severely devalued since then and the whole market changed dramatically in the past week. In addition to losing potential profits, I lost actual currency I had invested because I was not able to sell all week.
They wo n't even take the time to give me an explanation of what 's going on, if my money is safe, if I 'll get it back, when I might expect it, nothing at all. Not one word, not even a statement on their website that they are having issues and we can expect an update at some time. Highly unprofessional and it makes me severely worried entrusting my funds to them.

Complaint: I had XXXX us dollars in a usd wallet held on coinbase. My account is 100 % verified and I have used it multiple times. Bitcoin had started to increase in price so I wanted to buy some, after reading every detail on the website Nd reading faq to make sure no delay would happen, I decided to buy in at XXXX per bitcoin.
The website states if using credit debit or usd balance it would be instant.
After the purchase on XX/XX/XXXX the transaction stood pending and to be deposited by end of day XX/XX/XXXX. ( Stated on website ).
I was not upset it was n't instant at the time, but now XX/XX/XXXX and my money is still gone and no bitcoin.. Basically I have had XXXX dollars stolen from me for false promises and I have emailed over 10 times including reaching out on XXXX and have had no responses, except 2 weeks ago stating they are looking into it.
I just want my money back, but due to multiple people having this issue, how can there website state the purchase will be instant if it can take up to a month with nothing not even in faq stating this.

Complaint: I can not access my coinbase account : www.coinbase.com, The website will not let me login in the past past 21 days.
The account uses my email address ad they do have my cellphone number ( for the second password ), my Driving license, my last bill, my photo I asked them more than 30 times through email, website-help tool, and 3 times phone request and they did not reply to any of my requests.
I informed them that I wanted to sell my bitcoin and I need the money that I have in MY account, and I can provide whatever evidence for the identification purposes if the issue is because of that, but I have not revived any reply.
I also asked if it is possible to provide me the reason beind blockng my account, but they have not replied either.
I also informed them two weeks ago ( when the price of bitcoin was 50 % more of today ) that I want to sell my bitcoin, and I need the money ASAP, and I could provide them with any information that they need to open my account, but they did not replied back.
After talking with them on the phone ( almost a week ago ), their representative told me he can not help me at all, and after I said " Should I talk with a lawyer? '' He replied " No I wont do anything '' and then he hang out the phone.
Again, I emailed them and beg them that I need the money, and I am XXXX and I need my money back, and this is not ethical to keep my money for no reason, they simply blocked my email so I can not submit any request any more.
At time I had access to my account I had more than 9K in my account, all of my saving, and wanted to cash them for the new year, and they did not let me.
I do not have any option in mind, they did not provide me with a single reason for blocking my account 21 days ago, and keep asking them they simply do not care.

Complaint: I am an XXXX XXXX currently living in California. Coinbase is not letting me withdraw my funds or do anything with my money in my USD wallet on its website after a successful deposit. It keeps asking for my SSN and says that I can withdraw my funds and close my account if I do not want to provide it. Since I do not have an SSN, instead, I only have a drivers license, I chose to close my account and withdraw my money. However, in the withdrawing page right before closing my account, it asks for my SSN again in order to withdraw the funds. That 's the problem since I wanted to close my account and withdraw my funds because I do not have SSN! I contacted their support for so many times and they never reply email or do anything.

Complaint: After doing business with them for many months, Coinbase now refuses to authorize my ( previously valid ) account and claims that my address is invalid, when it in fact is not. They have effectively locked in excess of {$17000.00} of my personal funds and deny me access to it. I can not trade, buy, sell, or transfer funds from my account to my previously validated bank account. I believe this is an intentional policy, designed to manage cash-flow.

Complaint: I sent a deposit of {$3000.00} and {$2000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX from my bank to the company ( Coinbase ). After a couple transactions ( buys, sells, withdrawals, and deposits ), I was left with a total of {$6200.00} in my account ( XXXX XXXX ) onXX/XX/XXXX. I then tried to withdraw some of my money, however I received a message saying " Before you will be able to complete this withdrawal, you must provide additional information at https : //www.coinbase.com/ssn ''. I emailed the support team about this, due to the fact that I was able to do transactions freely before. Complaint: Ive started using Coinbase over two weeks ago as a way to start investing in crypto currency. I followed the steps on their website to set up my account and connected my checking account directly to their app ( as they recommended ). Ive made my first purchase on XXXX XXXX. As the delivery date stated XXXX of XXXX, I had no choice but to wait patiently until the funds clear. To my surprise, after a week of waiting, they cancelled 65 % of my investments claiming my bank is to blame. When I called my bank they said there were no issues or cancellations on their end so I contacted Coinbase again asking for an explanation. Customer service was non existent as I didnt get a reply to my emails ( yes multiple emails ). My bank account was charged for the rest of the transactions I made soon after but still no digital currency. Its now been 4 days since my digital currency was supposed to show up in my account and its still not there. I tried emailing again and still not a single reply! Ive tried reading about others who experience the same problem and was surprised to see how many people are on the same boat. Someone needs to hand it to Coinbase. Companies like that dont need to be in business.

Complaint: I made an account with Coinbase several years back when it was within there terms of service for a XXXX year old ( XXXX ) to become a member. Come 2 years later ( XXXX ) when I am now XXXX I logged back into my account to purchase bitcoin. I even got a joint bank account for such said purpose. I was able to transfer XXXX dollars from my bank to bitcoin and ethereum with no problems and without ever having to scan in any form of id ( drivers license, etc. ) A few days later ( 2 weeks ago ) I edited my information to include my birthdate and then got an email from Coinbase saying that under XXXX year olds could not participate in their service. I think I am entitled to convert my bitcoin into usd and send it back into my bank account using their exchange as no id was initially required and I was not informed of the XXXX change. If I try to change my bitcoin into usd using another method I could literally lose half of my invested money in fees.

Complaint: I have XXXX bitcoins stored in Coinbase (currently about $3000+). On XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to sell and withdraw it to my bank account, but I couldn't because for some reason Coinbase couldn't verify my ID. The ID information that I submitted to open the account was obviously sufficient for me to buy bitcoin, but now they won't let me withdraw my money. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted their support center and explained the issue. I got an email back (probably automated) saying that they were looking into it. Then I didn't get any response for a week. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent another email asking for a response and said I would go to the Better Business Bureau if nobody responded soon.
No response. I went to the BBB. Another week later, XX/XX/XXXX, I got an email with instructions to help me verify my identity. The email instructed me to respond once I had completed the steps. I completed all the steps, but they didn't work. I still can't withdraw my money. I responded to the email asking what to do and got no response for another week. On XX/XX/XXXX I went to their support center again asking for a response, and saying I would go to the CFPB if I didn't get any answer within 48 hours. 48 hours passed, no response. So here I am.

Complaint: Dear Readers I am having trouble with withdrawing my funds out from coinbase.com, they are not verifying my bank account and many other people i know, the procedure to verify your bank details is to send them a sepa payment from you bank and when they receive it they will verify your bank within a few days so you can have access to your funds, after sending them a XXXX bank transfer onXX/XX/XXXXit was credited to my coinbase account the next day, i waited for 10 days then emailed them about why verification not been done, they replied with an automated message that did not have any relation to my problem, so i called them 3 times, 1st time they said wait another day, 2nd time was to send another payment and 3rd time to email my bank statement via a secure site, so i sent another payment which has also credited my account plus sent the bank statement, then waited again for a reply or verification for 4 days and nothing, i asked some friends who also opened coinbase accounts recently and they too are having the same issues.
