Complaint: XXXX the trading platform for Virtual Currency owned by Coinbase is a scam. If you look at the candlestick graph for each individual coin you will see they follow the exact same path. This is because Coinbase is allowing " price fixing '' by a robot across all of their virtual currencies or running the " price fixing '' bot themselves. I have complained several times and it is quite obvious it is being done. In a fair and balanced market there is no way all the stocks will follow the same trading pattern on the same exchange. It 's a scam and needs to be addressed.

Complaint: I called to increase the limit for a withdrawal out of my Coinbase account from XXXX to XXXX. A person answered and helped to assist me.
I just noticed that instead of assisting me he stole XXXX XXXX {$9800.00} from my account.
He initially said he was initiating withdrawal to my bank and I had XXXX XXXX XXXX account and to expect the money shortly. I had no reason to doubt that I was being conned or scammed.
He disconnected the phone call around XXXX and never answered again.
His phone number is ( XXXX ) XXXX and he went by the name of XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: Dear CFPB, The XXXX of XXXX XXXX, I have done a SEPA deposit funds of XXXX euro to XXXX to fill my account on the XXXX XXXX platform ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ).
At the time I am writing this message ( XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX my XXXX account has not yet been credited with the XXXX euro I sent to them.
I have also opened a case on XXXX support where I provided XXXX XXXX Wire traking info ) but I have got no anwser.
I have also try to call XXXX Phone Support at +XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX and not body anwser after almost hanging two hours and a half.

Complaint: Issue started on XX/XX/XXXX.
Coinbase app.
I was studying fees on the app.
I put in an amount more then was in my checking account. ( normally, with any other payment method i had used up untill this point, it would just reject a charge like this. ) Apparently with a checking account it goes through no matter what and will even draw the account into the negative. The amount was 1,000 's of dollar 's more than i could affort ( again, i was studying how the fees worked, if it was an exact percent, or how it scaled to the amount, and payment method. ) This is what i was trying to do/understand.
So i had no other choice but to contact my bank and put a stop on that one charge.
I still have funds and other payment methods i would like to use to invest in crypto currency. But being locked out of coinbase, also locked me out of XXXX. And it seems every other USA based bitcoin purchasing avenue.
I can understand how this is a problem for coinbase. But there was no explination ( that i saw or have seen ) that a charge to the checking account was capable of over drawing my account. Every other payment method simply doesnt go through if the amount exceeded funds/limits..

Complaint: I transferred {$250.00} in 2 {$50.00} transactions and 1 {$250.00} transaction on the XXXX of XXXX. Coinbase stated that the money would be available in my account on the XXXX. It still has not shown up on the XXXX even though the money has already been taken out of my bank account. In addition, customer service no longer responds when I email and their first response was inaccurate and unhelpful.

Complaint: Hello I have been holding litecoins in a wallet Litecoin-QT on my XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. Since the wallet is now out of date I decided to move my coins over to Coinbase.
On the XX/XX/XXXX I moved 30 coins - I transferred 1 to start with and then followed with the other 29.
I can see the coins in Coinbase but they show as pending.
I have emailed Coinbase on numerous occasions but have been ignored. Having looked on the internet tonight a lot of people are advising to contact CFPB for help.

Complaint: Coinbase / XXXX lost my funds transfer.
I sent money from XXXX exchange to the XXXX exchange.
At the point and time of the transfer XXXX was representing the value of my XXXX at {$7400.00}. The exchange it was on had it priced at {$4200.00}. My intention was to sell it on the exchange that showed the higher price. Since XXXX lost the transfer, am entitled to reconciliation of my losses since they have held my BitCoin Cash since this date and I have been unable to sell @ {$4200.00} or {$7400.00}. The value has been cut in half since XXXX lost the transfer.
I would like to receive the US dollar value of the funds they misplaced from the exchange they were on at the point and time of the transfer was sent ( XXXX price ) or transfer completion ( XXXX price ). Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX I have open many support tickets and have spent 26 hours waiting for customer service to answer. I 've never been given any information.

I contacted coinbase via phone no response, via email which they replied saying they have seen the problem and will resolve this however this has not happened. Its been exactly 20 days with no help. I would like my money back or for the money to be transferred ASAP! Thiis very bad customer service and I am extremely disappointed.

Complaint: On Wednesday XXXX XXXX I solid {$1900.00} worth of XXXX XXXX on coinbase. {$1800.00} of which should have went into my XXXX wallet on their site as cash. The remaining {$28.00} was their transaction fee. As of this complaint i still have not received the money from the sale. After opening a complaint ticket that has only been replied to with a non related automated response and the waiting a total of XXXX hours on hold over the course of 3 days I was informed the money was sent to a nonexistent address and I would just have to wait. This does n't make any sense I have executed several transactions before and after this incident exactly the same way and it was fine. The system only requires you to click the icon for you XXXX wallet and then select your XXXX wallet to execute a sale at no point are you required to enter any information. So the possibility of a data entry error on my end is absolutely 0 %. I have now been waiting 14 days for a remedy.

Complaint: I transfer XXXX from my binance account on XXXX and I still have not received the currency at all. I contacted customer support various times but they stop responding to me days after they respond to my request this honestly ridiculous.

Complaint: From the XXXX XXXX 2017 I have been locked out of my crytocurrency trading account on www.coinbase.com I have tried to contact coinbase to resolve this through email requests only to recieve automated messages and a faint promise of help " soon ''.
Further attempts to contact coinbase through their support phone line have resulted in nothing after waiting in excess of 4 hours on " hold '' to talk to someone.
This complete lack of service is unacceptable.
Avoid using coinbase if you can.

Complaint: I have submitted withdrawal request of $XXXX from Coinbase account to my verified Bank account on XX/XX/XXXX. As per email from Coinbase the amount should get deposited to my account by XX/XX/XXXX. But the funds are still not deposited as of today XX/XX/XXXX.My bank account has been verified by 2 small deposits by Coinbase. So there should not be any issue with the account information.I initially contacted Coinbase on XX/XX/XXXX but didn't get any response. After creating another support ticket, I got a response on XX/XX/XXXX that Conibase specialist is working on this issue. Later I contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX by support ticket but didn't get any response till date. Complaint: I made a transfer of approximately {$40000.00} of the virtual currency Bitcoin Cash to Coinbase on XXXX XXXX, 2017. The transaction was confirmed at XXXX XXXX CST by the blockchain protocol, however, the funds were never credited by Coinbase. I made several attempts to find out the status of my funds, and why they were not being credited to me even though they were verified to have been received by Coinbase, and the only answer I get is " Your case has been escalated to the highest level and you will hear back from us shortly ''.
It is now over a week later and still no response, I am still missing over {$40000.00} in funds, no minimal correspondence and no resolution. They even drop my calls when I call customer service and do not call me back. They hung up on me after I get connected with an agent more than once. I need access to my funds as it is unlawful and fraudulent to hold my funds with no explanation nor attempt to fix the problem. I have lost thousands in trading possibility as well as investing at times that would have profited me signinficantly. There have been damages in excess of {$100000.00}

Complaint: On the XXXX I recieved a payment in Bitcoin from XXXX I immediatly recieved the payment including an email from Coinbase saying I will be able to use the funds after 6 confirms.
