Complaint: My case number is XXXX.
I first contacted coinbase on XXXX.. I was following the steps to reset my 2-step authentication when you no longer have access to that number. It sent a code to the old number even though I no longer have access and within a few minutes I got an email saying I had successfully changed my password. I put a temporary disable on my account because I wasnt sure if someone gained access to my account because coinbase sent that code to a random person.. even though again I put that I had no longer access to that phone number. So this all started because coinbase compromised my identity.
I have sent multiple emails, waited on hold for over 2 hours on 4 separate occasions, escalated my issue, reached out on XXXX and XXXX. Coinbase sent me an email to explain My case and escalate it on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. It had already been almost a week. I was told my issue would be solved within 10 days.
I think this company is a fraud and is purposefully withholding my login. I cant possibly imagine a company that will not contact you back for weeks when it is involving time sensitive money when all I needed to do was change a telephone number on my account. I have lost money and I am very upset.
This is happening to hundreds if not thousands of people. Literally all I needed was someone to let me change my telephone number and unlock my account. My money is held hostage and I can not withdraw until this happens.

Complaint: Hi!I'm verified costumer at coinbase .com.I wired $XXXX from my bank to the coinbase platform .i try to buy some coins with my money and they locked my platform .I can;t buy ,sell or withdraw my own money .I e-mail them they send only automated messages .I call them they said they can't override the system ,as i ask them to put my personal information manually and unlock my platform ,and they also send me an automated message ,how to pass the ID quiz as they call .I tried every combination i could think of .So i have no access to my account They don't contact me an no help from them.Another guy recommend you guys who has the same problem and you solved it and hopefully you can help me too! Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I sold {$13000.00} worth of bitcoin on the Coinbase app on my phone and had the funds transferred to my XXXX XXXX on coinbase as {$13000.00} ( due to a XXXX dollar fee ). This wallet is NOT my bank account and the funds should have been in my account instantly as soon as the bitcoin was sold.
The sell shows as completed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX at XXXX.
The XXXX XXXX which the funds should been in INSTANTLY afterwards still shows as pending.
I have sent multiple service requests and multiple emails with nothing more than just 1 response with no answer as to why my money is still pending. They have no longer responded after the first reply on XXXX XXXX, which, as I said, provided no answer.
I have attached screenshots of my outgoing and pending transfer.
My case number is # XXXX I also have other transfers/buys/sells which have gone through, but not this one.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, Coinbase opened trading of XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) on their exchange. Before they opened the market, they were taking orders in which I placed a Limit Buy order. Once the market opened, the Limit Buy did not apply due to the heavy buying pressure. I then placed a market buy of approximately {$80000.00} for XXXX at approximately {$3800.00} per coin. By the time it filled a few seconds later, it filled at {$8900.00} per XXXX. I immediately placed a market sell as I did not expect the price to more than double in a matter of seconds. Despite multiple sell attempts, my order would not sell. All the while the price of XXXX was increasing until Coinbase halted trading at {$9500.00} per XXXX. The halted trading for about 20 hours and when it resumed, the market price was reset to approximately {$4300.00}. There are several questionable actions by Coinbase that caused a large sum of money to be lost which is why I am filing this complaint : 1. My market order at {$3800.00} did not fill until {$8900.00}.
2. Selling was not working.
3. They froze trading and reset the price to {$4300.00} which immediately cut my investment value by over 50 %.
4. Immediately after the price increase, there were insider trading allegations against Coinbase due to the massive price pump during the time my trade executed. These are still being investigated.
5. The price of XXXX on Coinbase was nearly triple the price on any other exchange further reinforcing the suspicion of price manipulation.

Complaint: Bitcoin and Coinbase in conspiracy with one another to commit schemes to defraud investors into a digital currency investment have committed wire fraud. Coinbase app states " invest your money. '' I invested my money by wiring money into their business account. I have yet to get a settlement of funds verification from their ACH I sent to Coinbase and they never returned my funds by wire and it been over two months and never got my return wire transfer.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, 20 days from writing this, my account was locked. When I try to login the app gives me the following message “Your account has been locked, please visit coinbase.com to resolve.” So I contact support and they are prompt to initially respond but then they completely forget about me for 3 weeks. I deposited $XXXX USD into my account at the beginning of the month. I would like a refund. This long of a wait time on such a small issue is ridiculous.

Complaint: Hello, Thank you for taking the effort to help me.
At XX/XX/XXXX I made a money withdrawal from my Coinbase account to my bankaccount in The XXXX. I did this before and after this date as well and never experienced any problem.
But on the XXXX, something must have gone wrong because the money never arrived and is still pending. I contacted support at Coinbase, they say that the investigate the issue, but it 's already more then 10 business days and i 'm still waiting for my money.
On the history page, the say it will be on my bankaccount the XX/XX/XXXXr, but it never did.
When you XXXX 'coinbase support '' on the internet you 'll notice there are o lot of complains about money that 'stolen '' from people. A lot of issues have to do with the exact date of XX/XX/XXXX. For example on this XXXX page : http : XXXX It 's a decent amount for me : XXXX euros and more than 10 days is really annoying and I 'm beginning to worry if I 'm gone see this back.
Hope you can help me to receive my SEPA withdrawal like it supposed to be.

Complaint: I did a bank wire transfer for {$2000.00} to XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX. My bank, XXXX XXXX has informed me the wire transfer has gone through, but now 5 business days later there is NO sign of the funds in my account.
I have filed a formal submittal to XXXX XXXX ( case # XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX.
I got an automated e mail back, but absolutely no action over the past 2 1/2 days.
I 'm very concerned that my {$2000.00} is lost and I can not get any response from Coinbase ( called the XXXX number, held for about 30 minutes ).

Complaint: I sent a Wire money transfer on XXXX to Coinbase Inc. The bank facilitating the money transfer " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' who confirmed they received and forwarded the Money to Coinbase. Coinbase is a cyber-currency Exchange that is overwhelmed and understaffed to handled the volume of money that they are receiving. They have been in possession of my monies every since XXXX and they have not credited my account or returned my monies to this date. You can not talk to anyone over at Coinbase and they are extremely slow to even return emails. I have missed out on huge run ups on the cyber-currency sine XXXX. The whole purpose of the wire was to have it credited INSTANTLY not for it to be in the possession of a company that is not clearly giving me answers or simply returning my money in an expedient manner. Wires are easy to trace and reverse so i see no excuse for this taking OVER 2 Weeks and counting!! See attachment for dates, contact info, and Federal IMAD numbers. There a lots of other people in my same situation there is a message on Coinbase website advising degraded service on Wires denoting a huge number on customers affected.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX2017- So I am wanting to take my virtual currency and transfer it to my wallet on my computer and save it there to where it is safe and when I do this it says I do n't have enough to transfer cause they wan na charge a network fee here is a screenshot of the transaction that I want done ...

I put in {$20.00} with my bank and they say I wo n't get that for 5 to 7 days..
I also put in {$20.00} with my debit card I lost {$4.00} since I have had my currency in the market.. I want to now take what I have left and to put into my bitcoin wallet on my computer and this is the result they are robbing people ... If I had {$33.00} as you can see is {$18.00} for just a network fee.. This is absurd I want to take my money out!! So I now I will have no choice but to try to get my money back into my bank account which they will charge another {$1.00} fee so basically when it is all said and done they have robbed me and I just wan na get what I have left I am done with doing business with this company! But from what my friend says this is the only way to get my money into currency to trade with all the other cryptocurrencies there has to be other companies that wo n't XXXX us.

Complaint: CoinBase Has locked my account, I can not buy/sell or transfer crypto currency. I owe XXXX dollars on the account and it is in good standing.. I have been trying to contact them for almost a month and I did not get my emails answered. I called them today and spoke with a woman she said she was going to escalate it. And that she is sorry.. This is unacceptable to be holding my money like this.
