Complaint: I sold Bitcoin through Coinbase and their system claimed to have completed the wire deposit to my bank account on the same day, XX/XX/XXXX. The amount total is {$2900.00} after fees. As of submitting this complaint, it is XX/XX/XXXX. I have reached out to them several times trying to get an estimated date of the arrival of my withdrawal. At first I received an automated response telling me that wires would be delayed up to 10 days, which is clearly not true. After the 10 days passed, I reached out to them again and did not even get a reply. They have provided no transparency as to why I can not get my funds from that transaction.

Complaint: Coinbase will not allow me access to my funds, they will not respond in any manner whatsoever. I have attempted multiple times to contact them even going as far as having a friend who has the CEO XXXX XXXX 's personal email reach out in an attempt to get access to my money. Complaint: I sent a XXXX deposit to Coinbase on XX/XX/XXXX, which was received by their bank on XX/XX/XXXX. For XXXX Euros.
The deposit still has not been added to my online account with coinbase, nor has the money been returned to me. The deposit/transaction is still showing as pending on my coinbase account. Even though, my bank has confirmed that their bank has received the funds on XX/XX/XXXX.
Coinbase support have only responded using templated emails and have not provided an explanation, timeframe or proposed resolution. Whats worse, they responded saying that all my transactions have gone through and that they ca n't see anything wrong in my account.
Coinbase took my deposit on the XX/XX/XXXX and have held onto my money. And have not made it available for me to spend of withdraw, or given a reason for the delay. The deposit/transaction has been stuck as pending since XX/XX/XXXX, and coinbase have my money, but have not updated my balance for the last 3 weeks.
I fear I will never see my money again.

Complaint: I have an account with Coinbase.Inc a couples months ago and I have transferred some funds from my XXXX XXXX XXXX.
Basically, with coinbase account you can log in to XXXX ( Company under coinbase ) and I have done a few transaction with both account.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to log in to my XXXX account and my account got suspended for no reason, there is a message says " ATTENTION REQUIRED! TRADING FUNCTIONALITY HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED ON YOUR XXXX ACCOUNT.IN ORDERTO RESTORETRADING FUNCTIONALITY, PLEASE CONTACT XXXXXXXXXXXX ''. So I contacted coinbase support team by sending in a support tickets and they reply me an email says that they have received my request and are working on responding asap. Since that I waited for a few business days and still did not see any response, so I call them on XX/XX/XXXX, the representative says that he did not know what is going on and will escalated my case to their subject experts to resolve this issue, and right after that I received an email says that it will take 4 to 5 days to solve this issuse. Since that I did not hear from them anymore and I tried to contact them by sending support ticket and by calling them, the answer i got was to call back some other time due to high volume of calls.
I have around 20+ thousand USD in the account.

Complaint: I have been trading on XXXX a division of coinbase for several months now. I saw the prices were fairly high on XX/XX/XXXX in the XXXX range but were dropping fast. I had been trying to put a sell order in for a few minutes and finally did get it in at XXXX a bit lower than I wanted being the major delays on XXXX. I had planned on buying back ( day trading ) at the bounce and when the bounce came I was locked out, XXXX wouldnt load for 5 minutes and kept giving error messages. I had also tried my laptop next to me and same issues. This was at approx XXXX to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX East Coast Time. This has been an ongoing issue with XXXX and coinbase as soon as traffic picks up they seems to have issues. In all reality I should have had my sell taken much higher XXXX and bought back at XXXX but I was screwed and by time I could buy back it was between XXXX and XXXX The price had kept climbing the 5 minutes the site was down and put me at a loss. I was also hammered in fees XXXX Things happen very fast in day trading and you can not be in this business if you can not handle the demand and give the customer a service your in the business to do. Luckily I was able to get the bitcoin back when I did before it kept going higher!
I have attached some of the many screenshots I took. You can also see they were having issues with all 3 crypto they sell. All dropped at the exact time across the board but I had compared this to XXXX, XXXX etc and the charts look nothing like this. They admitted possible insider trading the following day!

Complaint: Coinbase has disabled my account, first noticed this problem, XX/XX/XXXX, stating that my trading account has been temporarily suspended please contact our support team. I have contacted the support team on many occasions and no response, I sat on the phone on hold for 2 hours only to be disconnected. I have money in that account under a crypto currency that I want to sell and get out due to market volatility but have been able to access my account in order to do so causing me to loose a large amount of money. this is unacceptable and need to be resolved asap so I can access my money and get out!

Complaint: I am a XXXX resident at the University of XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I traveled to XXXX to visit my family for XXXX break. I tried accessing my coinbase account and they locked my account and sent me this email : Dear XXXX XXXX, Our records indicate that you have attempted to log in to your Coinbase account from a country in which Coinbase is prohibited by law from doing business ( XXXX ( XXXX XXXX of ) ) per the sanctions imposed by the U.S. Treasury Departments Office of Foreign Assets Control or other governing bodies. As a result, your account has been restricted.
If you are not a resident of a sanctioned country or otherwise have received this notification in error, please visit https : //support.coinbase.com for assistance.provide us with a copy of a current, government-issued ID and proof of your current address, such as a utility bill or rental agreement.
If, however, Coinbase concludes that you reside in a prohibited region or are violating applicable sanctions in any way, your account will be closed and Coinbase will take any other actions required by law.

Respectfully, The Coinbase Team I am deeply concerned that I will lose everything in my coinbase account, despite my repeated emails to coinbase with evidence to the contrary that I am not a resident of XXXX, ect.
Despite my emails, I am afraid I would not get any response from coinbase support as they have replied to me with an automated response. I am horrified that they may seize my funds, I have already lost a lot of money.
I provided coinbase support with photos of my driver license and my utility bill to my house in Maryland. I have contacted coinbase support on the day I was locked out and have sent several inquiry emails requesting a follow-up or a status update but still no clue or any sign of them.
I visited XXXX to see my family and I dont really have any intent on going back. I visited coinbase.com just out of curiosity because of the the recent movement in BTC prices and I was immediately greeted by the above message.
Please advise what to do and how should I proceed and if there is any way I can get my account reopened.

Complaint: I am locked out of my account with XXXX usd out of access and no matter what I can not get coinbase to respond with anything that actually resolves this.
I lost, and have now replaced, a 2 factor authentication device ( my old phone ). I previously complained to the CFPB about this. Coinbase replied in a way that indicated that they had not even read any aspect of the complaint at all. They have taken zero real steps towards resolving the issue.
The response they sent to me after the CFPB forwarded my initial complaint was an auto-message identical to the first one they sent to me. This indicates that no one had even read my emails to them.
I really need a solution to this now as my assets are depreciating and they are denying me access to my funds and are misrepresenting the situation to both BBB and CFPB by saying that I will be contacted by an agent. I have received absolutely zero assistance from coinbase other than additional auto-messages ( many of which are repeats ) which do not resolve my issue. A human agent is needed to solve it.
I have created a new account as instructed several months ago before they stopped replying the first time. Now the site claims my id is invalid. This was not the case when I used the same id to send them money. It must have become invalid now that I want to withdraw it seems.
I feel at this point they are sending me in circles and have read none of my messages. No genuine attempt whatsoever has been made to restore my account access despite months of trying. Any time they reply, it 's an auto message, and then there is no further contact. Even after the CFPB asked for a reply, I was only sent an identical auto message which clearly indicated that no one had read my messages. This can been seen in my attached ( fourth attempt ) to get a real reply from them.
Furthermore, many many other people seem to be in similar situations with this company as complaints are becoming highly visible online.

Complaint: I am currently residing in XXXX but I got my driver 's license in XXXX. I used my XXXX driver 's license to verify my Account with CoinBase. CoinBase is stating that XXXX does not support Coinbase and my account is suspended indefinitely. I was not actually in XXXX during anytime I have held an account with them. Their help page states to withdraw all currency, however, I am unable to access the option to withdraw my money. I do not have access to any of the XXXX dollars that I had invested with them. This is very distressing and any help that you can provide will be appreciated.

Complaint: Greetings, I sold an amount of Litecoin on XXXX XXXX at XXXX on the XXXX / XXXX XXXX. I then immediately initiated a wire transfer back to my XXXX XXXX bank account in the amount of {$10000.00}.
