Complaint: Hi, I am submitting this request regarding Coinbase 's glitch on XX/XX/XXXX where I made a Market purchase for BCH in USD for a total cost of {$3200.00}. During go-live sale for BCH on XXXX the price was jumping all around, to a point where it climbed up to a price of {$9500.00} where Coinbase had to freeze the exchange because of how out of control it was. My market purchase of {$3200.00}, was split into 2 purchases, XXXX BCH for {$5700.00} and XXXX for {$5900.00}. This granted me a total of XXXX BCH, short of what I should of received. Other exchanges did not have highs in the past months over {$5700.00}. I have submitted a ticket to Coinbase but have not received any support or call back on this issue.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I was locked out of my coinbase / XXXX account in the middle of a transaction for no known reason. I have been on hold with coinbase for a total of ten hours. The first time someone answered they hung up on me. The second time someone answered she told me she would escalate my case to a ten on a scale of one to ten and they ask to correspond through email. No one answers my emails so I held on the phone today for another hour. I was told by XXXX that there was nothing she could do because she didnt have a phone number for the account escalation department and if she emailed them it would kick me out of line and I would have to start over. They are holding my money for no reason for two weeks now. Oh, and XXXX Answer was unacceptable to me so I told her I would hold so she could find out how to call this other department and she just hung up on me too.

Complaint: I have money in my account and have not been able to get it out for going on about 2 months now. They took my money by letting me link a credit card, but they will not allow me to link a bank account. First - they made test deposits but then their app kept saying the amount I entered was not correct. Then I removed my bank account to start the process over, and have never received any more verification deposits. My money ( ~800 ) is stuck in Coinbase with no way for me to get it out ...

Complaint: I have an account with Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange, and have been trying to sell my positions and close my account for close to a month now with no avail. I have Bitcoin, Etherum & Litecoins within the online system and am unable to " sell '' them and " cash out. '' Each and everytime i do this, the system prompts me that " additional informaiton is needed to verify my identity, and to go to 'coinbase.com/XXXX ' to do so '' when i go to the address and answer the personal questions they prompt me with, the system denies my entries and i get stuck in this loop where it keeps asking me to verify identity and does not allow me to sell. Basically, they keep asking me to verify identity and after I answer their questions, they tell me my answers " are wrong. '' The shady part is that I have already verified my identity, both via questions and by providing my ID ; furthermore, I have succesfully bought and sold on this website since 2015 when traffic must have been less. It is only recently that I have been " shut out. '' I have contacted their customer service phone line 5 times, each time being placed on hold for hours with no representative picking up. I have tried their online support system and have submitted requests to " close my account and cash out '' 5 times with no response. Basically i am being ignored and my money is tied up. Of mention, I started this process when my account has over $ 19K in it, it has since dropped to $ XXXX and i am still stuck. All i want to do is close my account, and collect my proceeds.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, I initiated a sell of XXXX BCH to USD. The equivalent USD amount of {$540.00} was to be deposited to my linked bank account. The XXXX XXXX account that was linked to my Coinbase account had become inactive at that time, so the result was that I had inadvertently had the {$540.00} ACH transfer sent to an inactive account. Though the Coinbase website states the transfer was fulfilled and complete, it was not. I received a call from my prior bank informing me that an ACH transfer had been attempted on my inactive account but was denied. Neither the XXXX BCH nor the {$540.00} amount were refunded to my Coinbase account. Multiple attempts have been made to reach Customer Service with no response. In summary, Coinbase is currently holding funds that should be refunded to my account but will not respond to attempts to reach Customer Service to rectify this issue. The Coinbase reference code for this transaction is XXXX.

Complaint: My father bank wired {$5000.00} to my Coinbase account on XX/XX/XXXX. Due to a name mismatch, Coinbase sent me an email on XX/XX/XXXX stating that the bank wire would be reversed and that the funds should be received within 7 business days. As of today, 23 days later, the funds still have not been received. I 've tried to contact Coinbase directly about the issue. In response, they sent me an automated message stating that all wire transfers were being delayed. They did n't reply to any of my further attempts to contact them about the issue. I 've also tried contacting their associated bank : XXXX XXXX XXXX in New York. They were unable to help me other than to tell me that I had to contact CoinBase directly because they had not yet issued the reversal.

I have used this site before for transactions and they went through fine, however my last transaction was never completed even though it says it was. Complaint: Transferred XXXX LiteCoins into my GDAX.com account from a external site. XXXX received the money on their sister site ( XXXX ). Coinbase shows as having received these XXXX Litecoins. Coinbase then automatically forwarded these funds into my XXXX account. These transfers are instantaneous and free. Coinbase confirmed receiving the funds, and confirmed sending the funds to my XXXX account. My XXXX account never received the funds. They never even showed up as a pending or complete transfer in XXXX. Somewhere between coinbase and XXXX, they simply disappeared. I called XXXX the same day. Was told by the customer service rep that I was n't the first person calling about this today. As of right now, coinbase/XXXX are holding approximately {$11000.00} worth of virtual currency XXXX. It 's now been 4 days. I have no correspondence from them since my first email and call. My trouble ticket or case number is # XXXX. Please help me to recover my funds that they lost!

Complaint: To whom it may concern, My name is XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and I am writing in regards to an issue I have pending with a company called Coinbase ( A crypto currency investment platform ). In short, my account, which contained only cash at the time, has been emptied of approximately {$6700.00}. It appears to me as though the account was emptied, deleted and reopened using the same login credentials. I say this as my money, transaction history and all external account links have been deleted. The site makes it appear as though I just joined which is not the case. I have the original emails from Coinbase from when these ( now missing ) transactions had occurred. These transactions include, joining Coinbase, ID and photo verification, purchasing coins, and transferring some coin ( only the BTC ) out of Coinbase. The details : I joined Coinbase in XX/XX/XXXX. I funded Coinbase originally with {$5000.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. I bought XXXX ( XXXX ) Etherium ( ETH ). I bought XXXX ( XXXX ) litecoin ( LTC ). I bought ~XXXX Bitcoin ( BTC ). -All purchases in XX/XX/XXXX. I transferred the ~XXXX BTC into a different crypto wallet to execute trades not available within the Coinbase platform, but left the ETH and LTC in Coinbase . During this time I was monitoring Coinbase using their app. I had not logged into their site on my laptop for several months. On XX/XX/XXXX I sold all of my ( XXXX ) ETH and ( XXXX ) LTC via the Coinbase app resulting in ~ {$6700.00} being deposited into my Coinbase USD wallet as confirmed via the Coinbase app. I did not receive a confirmation email for this transaction from Coinbase although the money could be seen in the USD wallet on the Coinbase app. On XX/XX/XXXX I attempted to withdraw my money from Coinbase via their app and send it back to the institution I originally used to fund my Coinbase account ( XXXX XXXX ). The app indicated that I needed to login to the website to complete the transaction. When I logged into the Coinbase site using the same credentials, it began asking for new joiner type information as if I had just signed up ( not the case ). This is when I noticed that the USD wallet indicated a balance of {$0.00} and there was no transaction history to be found on this +6 month old account. At this moment, the app was still indicating the correct amount of money, {$6700.00} in my Coinbase USD wallet. Next, I logged out of the app and logged back in it. The app now matched the online site with {$0.00} balance, no bank links, and no transaction history. It appears as though I have been scammed. I have contacted Coinbase customer service to request their assistance but have not received a reply. I know this is not a huge sum, but it is a lot to me and it is mine. If there is anything that you could do to get Coinbase to look into my issue I would be extremely grateful. Thank you. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I have been locked out of my Coinbase account for over 5 weeks now which holds on this day XX/XX/XXXX the equivalent of {$5600.00} worth of Ethereum coins/tokens. That is a lot of money I ca n't access. The issue first occurred on XX/XX/XXXX when I tried to sign into my account. I received the following error : ''Invalid email or password. Try clicking 'Forgot Password ' if you 're having trouble signing in. '' Now straight away I thought this was very odd as I use a password manager to enter my details. I tried to login a few times more but the same error kept appearing. I eventually requested a password change. Coinbase sent me an email to reset my password which worked with no issues. However, no matter how many times I changed my password the same error still popped up. The email is 100 % the email associated with the account and obviously the password is correct so it is not a fault at my end. I can login to my account via the Coinbase APP but ca n't access my wallets/accounts. Again, I receive an error message. I have tried signing in from another device and different browsers to no avail. I have even asked my friend to try and login for me from his computer. Nothing works. Now when I attempt to login I 'm receiving the error message in the title : Sorry, account temporarily disabled. Please contact support.I have contacted support by email and created a ticket ( Case # XXXX ). I have also sent them a direct message on XXXX, my only response was via email which seemed to be an automated response which stated ''Due to increased volume it may take several days to receive a response. '' For me this is completely unacceptable customer service. Not being able to access that amount of money particularly over the festive period has caused me a great amount of stress. Any help/advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Complaint: i deposited nearly {$40.00} into coinbase, tried 6 different times to submit an identity document so i could pull my money back out after deciding it was too sketchy, after getting my identity document finally approved after two months, i cant pull my money out of my account due to buggy websites, site delays, constant maintenance, and over all terrible costumer service. ive done a lot of research and seen many other people experiencing the same problems

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX i started a transaction to move XXXX LTC over from one exchange to XXXX/Coinbase the transaction was confirmed in the block chain and XXXX sent me an email saying Valued XXXX client, Your Litecoin deposit of XXXX LTC ( worth {$52.00} USD ) completed successfully but was not moved from your Coinbase account to XXXX. Please view your account to double check your deposit and manually move your funds to XXXX. - The XXXX Team I assumed no big deal, Ill just manually move it. Well the LTC was nowhere to be found. It just disappeared luckily i was only moving a fraction of my currency before i moved all of it, because i would have been much more upset losing more than the 50+ dollars at the time. Anyway, i started a support ticket and the only email response i received was on XX/XX/XXXX linking me to an FAQ page as to why my transaction could be pending. However, MY TRANSACTION WAS NOT PENDING. It was CONFIRMED. So they obviously did not even read my support ticket. I replied again to their support and havent heard a response since. I will not deal with this company any more aside from when i get my LTC back, and only to move it out of their exchange.

Complaint: On XX/XX/17 I sent .XXXX BTC from my XXXX account to my XXXX account. It was completed on XXXX part and sent to XXXX/Coinbase. My Coinbase account said that they received the BTC and supposedly sent it to my XXXX account. It even says that its completed. However, on my XXXX account I have no BTC and no history of the transaction. And there is nothing nothing on Coinbase either. I have tried messaging every day for the past week and have received no reply from them even acknowledging the situation.
