Complaint: I made a wire to Coinbase for US {$3000.00} on XXXX XXXX. Due to a name mismatch with the account I used to wire and my receiving account at Coinbase, Coinbase claims to be unable to credit my account. I have called Coinbase dozens of times and opened numerous cases with their support staff but am generally unable to get though due to " high call volume ''. When I can get through, the staff opens a case and claims they will have a " specialist '' look at it. It has been more than two months and I have not heard anything from anyone.
Based on the lack of an real customer support at Coinbase, I contacted my bank and had them reach out to Coinbase 's bank directly, XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX has request that XXXX XXXX XXXX reverse this wire 5-6 times but they have yet to even respond to this request. It has been more than two months and neither XXXX XXXX XXXX, nor Coinbase have come back to me with anything.

Complaint: Hello OnXX/XX/XXXX I initiated a wire transfer to Coinbase.com to from my XXXX bank account.
The amount of the wire transfer was {$7000.00} to be deposited into my coinbase account within 2 days. On XX/XX/XXXXI received an email saying : " You recently sent a wire to fund your Coinbase or GDAX account for {$7000.00} USD. Unfortunately, we are not able to apply this wire to your account due to a name mismatch and will be returning this wire back to your bank. Please allow us XXXX business days for processing. '' I was very frustrated as the owner names on both accounts are the same and Coinbase prefilled the information I needed to give my financial institution.
I waited 7 days for this to process and finally contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX as no money was received. They instructed me to go to a certain form which led me right back to where I was in the first place to fill out information ...
I gave them ALL reference numbers, bank wire numbers, FED reference numbers and they have gone silent.
This money is very important to me and something I need to rely on.
Thank you

Complaint: I had my account verified in XXXX when I signed up with Coinbase. I made a number of transactions without any issues, but was in the process of making transactions on XXXX XXXX when Coinbase required that I re-verify my personal information. My account had been completely frozen - no trades or money transfers - until the re-verification process was complete. Over a few weeks, I tried every combination of spelling my full name and every address I 've lived in the past 10 years, but the only response I got back from their verification service was 'Could Not Locate That ID '. I even tried to close my account, but could not transfer my cash out of Coinbase. I called 6 times and was put on hold for over an hour each time. I finally reached someone and explained the situation ; they asked me to send in additional proof of residence. I sent in the information but have not received any update on when my account will be unfrozen.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I wired {$4900.00} from XXXX to Coinbase. Coinbase sent an email back an hour later claiming the wire transfer was rejected because the senders name did n't match the name on the Coinbase account, and that the money will be transfered back into the senders account within 3 days. I Called XXXX and sent an Amended wire transfer shortly after the initial Coinbase rejection email. Today is XXXX and I have n't heard from Coinbase yet. I 've sent 2 help tickets a few days apart from each other, and I sent an email to them today informing them to deposit the money back into my XXXX. The only reason I have't called is because I hear the wait time is hours long. I 'm in XXXX living on a military installation, and do n't want to pay exorbitant phone fees just to be disconnected after a 2 hour hold.
The sender 's account is mine, and the Coinbase account is my wife 's. My wife is also linked to my account.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I went to my bank to initiate a {$6000.00} USD wire transfer to coinbase. They are an online cryptocurrency exchange. They promised that it would be processed and credited to my account in one business day.
It is now XXXX XXXX and my account has not been credited by coinbase. I have called numerous times in the past weeks and their customer support is a joke. They can not help you with anything, only escalate your case to a 'specialist ' which in return sends you an automated e-mail. You can only contact this 'specialist ' by e-mail, but when you attempt to, they never respond to you.
My money is in limbo and I can not do anything. I can not get an answer for why my money has not been credited and where it is, I am told to simply wait. I have been waiting for now approaching close to 1 month.
They also are continuously accepting new bank wires even though they acknowledge they have a massive amount of backlogged wires from XXXX.
My Case ID is : XXXX.

I have followed Coinbase 's instructions exactly, twice, but Coinbase still have n't verified my bank account, so my money is basically stuck in Coinbase.
I originally emailed Coinbase 's support about this issue on XXXX of XXXX, they replied with a generic message, and despite me emailing them for an update on XXXX of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, I have heard nothing from them since. I have also called them, but both times I 've been left on hold for about 20 minutes then cut off before I 've actually been able to speak to anyone. I 'm now starting to panic, is Coinbase some sort of scam? I have several thousand Pounds in my Coinbase wallet and can not afford to loose this money. Please help! Many thanks, XXXX ( XXXX Citizen ).

Complaint: The XX/XX/XXXX I spent XXXX DKK ( Danish Krones ) on Etherium ( ETH ) on the website " Coinbase '', which worked fine. Then I sent them to XXXX, in order for me to purchase Ripples ( XRP ), and here my trouble started. XXXX states the wallet where my money was sent to will not function before the wallet has been funded with XXXX XRP. XXXX states that this will be funded within an hour and in rare cases more than that. Complaint: On XXXX XXXX 2017 XXXX sold me XXXX Bitcoin Cash ( BCH ) at an fraudulent/unfair price of {$6000.00}. I then proceeded to sell the XXXXBCH at {$9500.00}, only to have my sell order rejected because they shut down the exchange due to a computer glitch on their behalf. I lost out on a sale of about {$100000.00}. I came back the next day to find the price crashed down and not able to sell. Because of their computer malfunction, I decided to hold off on any trading on the account until the issue was resolved. I have not received any sort of response from them, and they 've hung up the phone the one time I was able to get through to customer support. Because of this, it caused me to lose out on an Ethereum position that should be equal to XXXXeth not to mention time, energy, and money spent trying to resolve the issue.

Complaint: Hi Dear officer, I would like to report a fraud which started on XX/XX/XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I wire-transferred {$75000.00} to Gdax/Coinbase account using the wire transfer information/instruction provided by gdax.com.
On XX/XX/XXXX, from support.coinbase.com, XXXX opened a case regarding this wire transfer indicating that the transfer failed and was reversed. On the same day, I received an email from them indicating the same.
On XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I asked them to investigate this matter but never got a single response back ever since they open the case on XX/XX/XXXX.
I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the originating bank couple of times. in the first calls regarding to why this transfer was not successful and what I should do to speed up the reversal process, XXXX XXXX told me since Coinbase already started the reversal process, I just need to wait. Then before XXXX, when I talked to XXXX again, she realized it is taking too long for the reversal, so she started talk to the wire transfer department in XXXX XXXX XXXX to try to recall the wire transfer.
But so far there is no response from Coinbase.com for the efforts from XXXX XXXX XXXX side.
I have provided the following documents to establish my case.
The email from XXXX notifying me of the wire transfer reversal on XX/XX/XXXX The Coinbase support case update history through screenshots The screenshot of Gdax ( which is linked with Coinbase.com ) provided wire transfer instructions The wire transfer transaction record itself.
In case you need to talk to the originating bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I will provide XXXX XXXX contact information as well.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX 2017, I reported that my Coinbase account was compromised because a XXXX dollar buy order for Bitcoin was made, but it was not made by me. Because I reported this, Coinbase " temporarily '' locked my account that day so that no outgoing transactions could be made, which means that buy order still processed and XXXX dollars was taken from my bank account, and then added to my Coinbase account in the amount of roughly XXXX Bitcoin.
I have since figured out what happened to my account ( on my own ) and have requested that Coinbase unlock it so that I can log back into it and properly manage it like I always have. Or, at the very least, I have asked them to send me the Bitcoin that is rightfully mine ( since it is in my account ) so that I can get my XXXX dollars back, or at least the bitcoin equivalent of it.
I made this request by replying only a few hours later to the email ticket I had opened on the XX/XX/XXXX, asking them to give me access back to my account. I never heard anything form them for over a week, thats when I made my first call to their support line that you have to wait on the phone for 30-60 minutes to speak to anyone. Doing this did not help at all as I could get no actual details about my case from them, and was basically told to keep waiting. I have been waiting for 5 weeks now and have made many more calls to their support line expressing my frustration and trying to get information, and yet I can not get any details of what is going on. The people on the support line have told me that these cases normally take under 10 days to resolve, but my case has not even gotten a response with any detail about actions they are taking to resolve it, not a single word. I am demanding Coinbase unlock my account so I can access it, as it has important money locked in it that belongs to me. During my last phone call with them a few days ago support at least made a note on my ticket as seen in my attachments, basically just saying for me to continue to wait and to stop replying to the email ticket ... .but once again, no actual detail or estimated time given on when I will have my account back.
