Complaint: On XX/XX/2017, I executed a wire transfer deposit from my bank account at XXXX to Coinbase, Inc. in the amount of {$50000.00}. Coinbase states " Bank wires often arrive the same business day if sent before the cut off time for your bank, otherwise they will arrive the following business day. '' I still have n't received the money in the Coinbase account. After numerous attempts to engage their web-based support portal, all I got was a few automated or completely meaningless responses with no resolution in sight.

Complaint: i opened an account with coinbase.com in XX/XX/XXXX 2017 in order to invest in bitcoin . I initially deposited $XXXX to my new coinbase account & invested in bitcoin. After a few weeks, having made about $XXXX, I sold the bitcoin & transferred the money to the coinbase wallet & also left a few dollars in bitcoin, etherium, litecoin, etc. I tried to WITHDRAW U.S. DOLLARS shortly thereafter from my Wallet balance of about $XXXX to my XXXX account & was told I needed to "verify my identity" by uploading a front & back photo of my california driver's license. I did this once, twice...and now five or six times, & it keeps telling me the verification "failed." Other ways to withdraw will not work either. The banks they work with do NOT include my credit union, etc. And they will NOT tell my why my verification failed; what I can or should do to rectify , etc. PLEASE HELP !

Complaint: I submitted a request to coinbase.com on XX/XX/XXXX for help with my account. They got back to me on XX/XX/XXXX saying that A support member would be in contact with me to fix the issue. In the mean time I called twice and waited 2 hours on the phone with an operator only for them to tell me they couldnt help me and to wait for an agent to respond to my email. They even told me I would be put on the priority list. I continued to email them 5 more times since XX/XX/XXXX until today. Still havent heard a single word regarding my complaint. This has caused my funds to be unnattainable for over a month in a market that moves every hour of every day.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my friend had attempted to send {$1600.00} to my Coinbase account from XXXX Bank in XXXX. Because the name on the bank account and my Coinbase account did n't match, the wire was reversed. That same day I received an email from Coinbase notifying me of this issue and informing me that the money had been sent back to XXXX XXXX. Today it is XX/XX/XXXX and the money has still not been received by XXXX XXXX. I have attempted to reach out to Coinbase regarding this issue a few times and have not received any reply.

Complaint: I sent {$6100.00} to Coinbase by wire transfer from my XXXX XXXX XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX. Coinbase is located in the XXXX with a bank located in XXXX that should receive the payment. The balance has not shown up in my Coinbase account still, and today it is XX/XX/XXXX I have made numerous attempts to contact and speak with customer service who keep saying that they are going to put a specialist on the case. They have told me this three times. I have used both their online form for submitting issues as well as emailing them directly to ask about a status update. No response whatsoever.

Complaint: At the beginning ofXX/XX/XXXX, Coinbase closed my account with their service and their exchange GDAX. I had been a customer of theirs since early XXXX. My account closure has caused me significant financial stress when dealing with digital currency. I have reached out to Coinbase support many different times asking for any explanation for my account closure. I have recieved nothing from them offering any sort of explanation or help to resolve this issue. The customer service has been nothing short of awful to someone who has been a customer of theirs for nearly 4 years. I still have get a resolution, just non-existing support.

Complaint: I was using coinbase/XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX for automatic trading. Due to a bug in my software I violated their terms of use by sending too many requests to their API. Unfortunately I overlooked a warning they sent me, so my XXXX account got locked and my coinbase account restricted on On XX/XX/XXXX to withdraws only. My XXXX account had ~2500 on it when this happend ( which I am locked out of ). I responded immediately via mail and asked them to unlock my XXXX funds or even activate me for API usage again stating that I fixed my bug. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX. The service agent told me, he could not do anything for me and that he escalated my ticket to a specialist. After I did not get any response, I asked for an update on my ticket on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX via email. I also tried to contact the coinbase staff on XXXX. There has not been any response and I still have no access to my assets on XXXX.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I transferred XXXX $ ( two deposits of XXXX , one was as purchase of bitcoins and the other as USD ) from my XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account to Coinbase. The fund was made available to my Coinbase account on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, but I decided to transfer it back to my checking account. I made two transfers from my Coinbase wallet to my bank account. The first one processed, but the second one of XXXX $ was cancelled by their system and supposedly returned as Coinbase fund. As of XXXX, XXXX XXXX, the XXXX $ is neither in my checking account nor available as fund on Coinbase. I contacted support many times, but the only time I got a reply was a message that had nothing to do with my issue.

Complaint: I transferred XXXX bitcoin to my XXXX wallet from another exchange ( XXXX ). In order to do this, Coinbase ( who owns XXXX ) will usually transfer it into my Coinbase wallet, and then it auto-transfers over to the XXXX wallet. The Coinbase wallet received the funds fine. I received a confirmation email stating so. Shortly after, however, I received another email from XXXX with the subject line " Attention Required. '' It said the transfer had failed, and to move it over from Coinbase manually. I logged on to perform this transfer, only to find that that the Coinbase wallet noted the transfer as " complete, '' and there were no funds in there to manually transfer. On the XXXX side, the transfer was noted as " pending. '' It has been in that state ever since ( over a week now ). It also shows the " estimated payout '' time to always be whatever the present time is when I check it. I emailed XXXX support on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and included all the relevant information ( below ). I received an auto-response giving me a case number ( Case # XXXX ). I have followed up with them by email twice and received no response. I have tried calling and no agent ever comes takes the call, even after 90 minutes on hold. I have done other transactions since, but the funds for that transfer remain inaccessible. Complaint: Hello, My name is XXXX XXXX from XXXX, NC. I travelled to XXXX for a trip in the month of XX/XX/XXXX. I have an account with Coinbase Inc for virtual currency and before i left, I bought XXXX Litecoin before I left to XXXX. I was unaware of the sanctions and laws about logging into Coinbase, particularly from XXXX, so when I attempted to log in to check my account, I was immediately logged out and my account was locked. I was asked to submit 2 documents to verify my identity, however there was no place on the site for me to upload them. I then emailed Coinbase Support my bank statement and my drivers license on XXXX XXXX and they confirmed that they got the documents. It has been over 1 week, and after multiple attempts of getting them to unlock my account, I am still locked out with no money. This is the same response I get everytime I try to contact support : XX/XX/XXXX XXXX Hi again, Ive just checked your account and can confirm that your request has been properly escalated. For fastest response, please do not create multiple tickets about your issue. We respond to cases from oldest to newest, and creating new tickets only makes your case appear new again, moving it to the back of the line. I understand how frustrating it can be to wait, but this is the fastest way to receive a response. If your request is cleared, well send you an email. If you need any additional assistance in the meantime, please let us know. my coinbase Ticket # is Case ID : XXXX Thanks I called Coinbase Support today on XXXX XXXX, they told me that there is no balance on my coinbase account. This is extremely scary for me because before I left, I had XXXX LTC in my account.
