Complaint: My account on XXXX has been temporarily suspended and there is no sign of them opening it. My bank reversed a transaction and it had locked my account down. I 've contacted coinbase several times and this issue has went unresolved and unanswered. I sat on hold one night for 2 hours just to be told that it was escalated and have a nice day. Since then, I 've not received one response back. On XX/XX/XXXX I asked about a {$300.00} transfer that was sent to binance by myself, but never showed up. Case # XXXX and that went unresolved. XX/XX/XXXX ( # XXXX ) was when the account locked down and I also have $ 300+ in there. I 'm been removed from the {$600.00} I put in it between the transfer to XXXX that did n't go, and the other half that they are holding hostage on there exchange. Case number # XXXX Case number # XXXX follow up from call, still no action. # XXXX. Final reply no resolution

Complaint: I signed up for Coinbase early around 2013, and have recently been active. Ive placed orders over {$300.00}, and gave the company all of my sensitive information : Drivers license, phone number, bank account info, and so on JUST to verify my account. I opened XXXX account, and while I was trying to confirm my identity, it suspended me for NO REASON. It kicked me out and wouldnt let me back into XXXX. Thats fine, but why would you SUSPEND my Coinbase account too?!? I am literally in awe. I wrote in Support ticket, have been waiting for weeks. Nothing. If youre in the business to scam accounts like mine to keep small chump change, youre doing it wrong. I understand risk and identity theft protection, but this is ridiculous. Im coming in from the same XXXX device id, same ssl fingerprints, same IP Ive used to log in to my Coinbase account, WHICH is still logged in and you should probably still HAVE my most recent XXXX. Why did you suspend me? Separately, you had emailed me to confirm my bank account name which youve somehow ironically used my Nickname to verify, which doesnt make sense. Why would you use my nickname to verify my bank account as opposed to the legal name Ive provided you ON THE ACCOUNT? You also had asked me to verify my identity to which I followed your link that leads me to nowhere your account is already verified what am I supposed to do next? Contact support? Wait for a year like some people did? This is ridiculous.

Complaint: I accidentally put in an incorrect reference number when i was making an international payment to coinbase for my account, and I have contacted my bank XXXX who have not been able to tell what has happened, only that they are not able to trace the money as coinbase now have it in their system. Coinbase have absolutely no customer service and it is disgraceful, they should not be allowed to operate as the no1 cryptocurrency investment site. I have tried to message their support team on the website providing all my details, I had my bank amend the transaction so the correct reference number was added to the payment but I have heard nothing from coinbase, and I have not been told there has been any interaction between coinbase and XXXX. How can a site as big as coinbase is now not have a telephone service running which I can call? It is shocking and have never experienced anything like this. I simply want my money to be placed into my account and to have some interaction with coinbase as they are leaving others like me in the dark as I am not the only one to have issues with their customer service.

Complaint: I purchased XXXX dollars worth of Bitcoin on the XXXX app Coinbase on XX/XX/XXXX, and sold XXXX dollars worth of Bitcoin on XX/XX/XXXX. I have not yet received my funds which were supposed to arrive no later than XX/XX/XXXX. I have contacted Coinbase " support '' through multiple facets, such as IM on their website, email, and phone, but it is to absolutely NO AVAIL. This is incredibly disappointing, as I have essentially been robbed of my money. One must take self accountability to losing money due to poor investments, however this is just plain FRAUD and theft. Coinbase has only responded to me once with the " We are looking into your issue and are working hard to resolve this '' type of message ... 2 weeks ago. I am a struggling college student and I have definitely learned my lesson -- but I need my money back. Please help.

Complaint: Hello, after browsing various websites, it seems Coinbase are notorious for holding your money and not actively helping consumers withdraw their funds. I wish to withdraw my funds from coinbase, having followed instructions, paying for transfer fees, but I am still unable to withdraw. I have also contacted Coinbase via email, but am now not being replied too.

Complaint: I sent a transaction from one wallet to another on the site. Reference code XXXX. The transaction sublitted on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and was stated to be transferred on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. It is now XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and the item is stuck in pending. I have done various other transactions with the same parameters and they have cleared fine. I have contacted the company through phone call 4 times and email XXXX and have been promised it will be cleared that day with no response or action after that.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I transferred XXXX bitcoin from Bittrex.com to Coinbase.com. While XXXX shows the transaction was completed and successfully sent, Coinbase does not show that any amount of this transaction was received, or even pending. There 's no evidence on Coinbase that any bitcoin was received at all. I have contacted Coinbase about this issue twice in the past, once via the online support on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( Case ID : XXXX ), then again through Coinbase 's telephone support on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( Case ID : XXXX ). These cases are still open on Coinbase and unresolved. I have been unable to gain access to my funds in nearly 3 weeks. Through XXXX I was able to find my Coinbase address to which I sent my Bitcoin, as well as the Transaction ID : Address : XXXX TxId : XXXX

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2017, My Coinbase account ( under my email : XXXXXXXXXXXX - Case Number # XXXX ) was unsuspectedly suspended. It is most likely due to a faulty chargeback from my bank. Since there is a debit in my account, I have tried depositing the proper funds to unfreeze my account. When I submit to deposit the proper amount of funds - it says the payment was cancelled yet my account says there is {$0.00} of debit I owe. So after, when I found out Coinbase has cancelled transactions with that bank account associated with the chargeback, I tried setting up another payment option, which I have verified through Coinbase. Since it still only says {$0.00} owed my account is still frozen and I can not pay off the original debit of {$700.00}. I have contacted Coinbase support via telephone and they told me my ticket was placed with a department specialist on XXXX XXXX. They have locked me out of my XXXX account so I can not even log-in to see my funds, which I ca n't even see if they are even there. I have heard nothing from Coinbase support since. I either need my my account un-froze so I can transfer funds from my XXXX account to my coinbase account or re-instate my XXXX Checking to deposit the proper funds. If by the time this message is received by Coinbase and I was finally able to deposit the funds owed, then promptly un-freeze my account. Thank you. - XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I sent a bank wire on XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$22000.00} to Coinbase. After several days I contacted them through their website ( recommended by Coinbase for complaints ) I have yet to receive my money credited to my account nor have the sent my funds back to me. It is now XXXX XXXX. My bank XXXX XXXX bank contacted their bank, XXXX XXXX Bank and their wire dept. and their wire/operations dept. confirmed that the {$22000.00} was posted to their ( Coinbase ) account on XXXX XXXX. That being said, wheres my money? As of XXXX XXXX my bank issued a wire reversal and reached out to Coinbase two different times with no response.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I started an ACH transfer through the Coinabse websitein the amount of {$1000.00}. I received an email from Coinbase the following day acknowledging the transfer was initiated and that they received my money ( see upload for screenshot ). It also appeared as pending on my transaction history on XX/XX/XXXX. But as of XX/XX/XXXX the money has never shown up in my Coinbase or XXXX accounts ( XXXX Is their sister site that works together with the main Coinbase site ). But even more alarmingly the transaction has mysteriously disappeared from my transaction history on Coinbase and XXXX as if it never took place. It is very scary to see the record of my money transfer disappear from their website. I did some research online and discovered there has been dozens if not hundreds of complaints on various online forums regarding Coinbase customers who have never received their funds weeks or months after sending it. You can see for yourself by doing a XXXX search for Coinbase scam or Coinbase fraud. I wish I knew about the history of this company beforehand I would have never done business with them. Here is a copy of the email they sent me on XX/XX/XXXX acknowledging the ACH transfer and receipt of {$1000.00}. According to their website Coinbase is insured by the FDIC which is why I felt comfortable doing business with them in the first place and heard a lot of good things about them. They are probably the most well-known bitcoin exchange in the world but after doing some deeper digging I have discovered they are far from reputable. Before Coinbase the biggest most well-known bitcoin exchange was XXXX XXXX which has gone bankrupt and disappeared along with XXXX of dollars of their customers money. If I had known about the rather shady history of the crypto world I would have never put any money into it. Coinbase took my money but never funded my account. Please help me get it back. They even when as far as to scrub all record of the transaction from both of their websites. This to me is a clear case of fraud. I have called and emailed them several times but they never reply. Complaint: I 'm trying to sell my crypto currency. XXXX bitcoin and XXXX ethereum in my Coinbase account. I want to liquidate and turn this into cash. Whenever I try to sell it says I need to verify my identity. I am unable to verify my identity and it gives no support. My information is correct and I am within my sales limits. I have tried countless times to verify and I get the same nonhelpful error message saying they could not verify my identity. My money is now frozen because they wo n't let me sell without verifying my identity and their identity verification is broken. I want my money out asap but they 're essentially holding it ransom. I was able to buy and sell before and then suddenly my accounts were frozen. I have uploaded my ID and given them my ssn and still can not access my funds.

Despite this my money has still not arrived in the XXXX/Coinbase account that it was sent to. I 've sent messages to them asking them to resolve the situation from the XXXX of XXXX but have received mostly automated messages. The one message that did not seem automated was one stating that a " at this time we have escalated your case to a specialist. '' That was on XXXX XXXX.
