Complaint: After pulling my credit report have reported this matter to Credit Acceptance numerous times and the XXXX Credit Bureaus, I must add that there employees are very condescending and rude. When I would call to make a payment they ask me what made me fall behind ( I am not behind. I am making a payment today i would inform them I have never missed a payment. ) This company reported late payments my whole duration as a customer.

Complaint: I purchased a car in 2000 and it got repossed by Credit Acceptance Corporation XXXX MI.This company waited 16 years later to take me to court and got a default judgement against me.I was unaware of any court date because the company sent all my stuff to the adress from 16 years ago.iI got a call from my bank saying my account was frozen so I called the number and it was Credit Acceptance lawyers telling me I owed XXXX on a XXXX dollar car the rest of the money she said was interest and late fees and it was still incurring.I did a little research and found that car loans in the state of Michigan have a statue of limitations which is 6years.I am low income.I ideel like I 've been a victim of this company illegal actions.Im also unaware of the fact of they repossed the car and probably sold it at auction.Then I suppose to only be responsible for the balanc.This company lawyers are telling me theirs nothing I can do but pay XXXX

Complaint: I purchase a vehicle from motorama auto dealership in XXXX of XXXX within 30 days I had tire problems and half of my Dashboard lights went out. It was during this time that the owner of the company told me that he never touch the tires ( Which I do n't believe because they were brand new ) But he said he put a Engine in it which he did n't tell me when I bought the car. 2 months ago the engine started to knock and the Alternator went out a month ago. The dealership said when he bought the engine it had a month warranty. And quoted me XXXX plus the cost of the engine. I am still making payments on this vehicle. I feel this dealership operated in bad faith.

Complaint: I acquired an auto loan for a defective vehicle, once I found the vehicle to be defective beyond repair I returned it to the auto dealer who accepted the title and car. The bank Credit Acceptance however has kept my first payment and keeps refusing my requests to even speak with a manager about the loan reversal, which has been in processing since XX/XX/XXXX. Id also like it struck from my credit report as I 'd like to be able to apply for another loan from another company and lease a different vehicle from a different dealer but can not until this is resolved.

Complaint: I have had my vehicle for XXXX going on 4 Years and I have always been in good standing with my account on Thursday XXXX XXXX my vehicle was XXXX due to a non payment back XX/XX/XXXX a Year ago to my knowledge everything was up to date in between that year I have contacted the bank and have never been informed of this situation I was quoted my Pay off amount never received any correspondence via mail, Phone, or by email as well when I did contact and speak with representatives of the bank they were very cold, uncaring, and unwilling to try and help they just wanted the past due amount of one month I felt it was very unprofessional as well as very stressfulstressful and overwhelming for me which did not seem to matter to anyone no representatives ever tried to help give me any options or reassurance that we can resolve this issue and figure it out together exactly the opposite I felt bullied and like threatened that if " I did not get a payment in I could lose my vehicle and end up paying more '' per the representative. I understand it is a business and I am in no way trying to cheat or manipulate anyone I just feel the whole situation was handled very poorly and unprofessionally especially a year late where as my Automatic Draft all other payments have been processed with out any problems within that 12 month period. I have also felt a lot of miscommunication a lot of the times where XXXX representative will say XXXX thing and then someone else will say something different on occasions many representatives have made me feel more of a burden and troublesome rather than a customer and this is for doing what is requested by the bank to call if any issues or things with payments I have always kept promise to pay if at anytime I needed to change a scheduled payment due to repairs or unforseen expenses. I just wish I was treated more like a customer than just someone who has a car leased through the bank and all that matters is the Money or at least a little more courtesy than what I was given

Complaint: My husband I obtained an auto loan through this company and kept the account current. On or about XXXX XXXX, 2016 the vehicle was involved in a fire and was deemed a total loss. At this time the auto loan had a balance of {$7300.00} My primary insurance issued a payment on or about XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$3900.00}. Gap insurance issued a payment on or about XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$2900.00}. Afterwards, I had made several attempts to set up payment arrangements that were satisfactory to XXXX parties ; unfortunately they were unable to accommodate a payment plan without issuing a derogatory mark on my credit report. When I called to today, XXXX XXXX, 2016, to pay the full balance they informed me that they reported that my payments were XXXX days past due. I stated that it has only been XXXX days since they received a payment and I believe that there is 30 days to make a payment since the last payment, so if anything I would be XXXX days past due. I paid the balance in full in an effort to minimize the impact that this account will have on my credit report.
