Complaint: CoreLogic XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting invalid, and therefore unverifiable information about me to apartment communities and it is impacting my ability to obtain housing.
I have contacted the two companies they are reporting and each does not have a record of a debt owed to them by me. Furthermore, I have not been evicted from any of the properties on the CoreLogic Report.
According to my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I sent via USPS Certified Mail, two dispute letters demanding to see proof of these debts as required under the FCRA. I also initiated a dispute via phone. CoreLogic has claimed three times that they have verified the debts and they have not removed them from my consumer credit report. CoreLogic has NOT provided me a copy of ANY original documentation required in the FCRA under Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ( a consumer contract with my signature on it ) and under Section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) of the FCRA which states you are required to promptly DELETE all information which can not be verified.
Please assist me is getting CoreLogic to furnish to me the evidence required under the FCRA. I suspect they have no evidence because both companies do not have a debt on record for me.
The following Public Record items are in question from the consumer credit report CoreLogic has furnished to apartment communities to which I have applied for an apartment : 1. Complaint: I was the owner of 2 units in XXXX XXXX, California and went through the condo conversion process to convert the bldg. from a XXXX into 2 condos. When I completed the lengthy and expensive conversion in XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to sell one of the units and the bank ( XXXX at that time, now XXXX ) forbid me from selling one of the units saying their investor refused. The XXXX loan originated in XX/XX/XXXX, midstream through the conversion and the bank was fully aware of the conversion through my admission and by public records ( XXXX stated in XX/XX/XXXX that they did not know of the conversion and claims I began the conversion and filed CC & R 's after the XXXX loan was made, which is simply not true ).
Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX when the market crashed. XXXX went bankrupt, XXXX took over, my loan payment nearly doubled, and because I was prevented from selling one of the units to lower my debt to nearly half, I was unable to make the " new '' loan payment. These new payments went into effect nearly 2.5 yrs. before they were scheduled to and as a result, I began to go into foreclosure. Years of litigation ensued, and I finally agreed with XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXXto deed them one of the units in lieu of foreclosure. The loss on that transaction was substantial, coupled with over 6 years where the unit sat empty, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost rental income. The litigation was extensive. In XX/XX/XXXX, I signed a new loan with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ( on modified terms ) that I would owe {$620000.00} on the first loan at 3.5 % for a period of 40 years ( i.e., {$2400.00} per month ). The repayment began on XX/XX/XXXX. I had a second loan with XXXX in the amount of {$130000.00}. Total debt was {$750000.00}.
In XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted the CFPB regarding several issues I was having with XXXX XXXX ( formerly XXXX ) with this new loan ( as well as the HELOC with XXXX ). The new loan has had several problems with the escrow account and the loan. As a result of the problems with XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, I requested to ( and ultimately did ) end the impound account due to several accounting errors. The loan documents state that at any time, either party can cancel the impound account. The loan payment for the {$620000.00} loan is {$2400.00} per month.
To give an overview of a few of the problems with XXXX XXXX, within about one month of the new loan, XXXX conducted an annual review of the escrow account and said I had a shortfall. The initial problem appears to stem from the fact that XXXX never made the original escrow payment as indicated in the closing statement, so the escrow account was immediately negative.
The next misstep occurred when XXXX sent me an {$11.00} check and revised closing documents that were dated XX/XX/XXXX saying something about an error in the flood certification. I never agreed to flood insurance in the original loan documents so it was unclear what they were revising.
Immediately following the flood insurance error, XXXX sent another revised loan statement claiming I needed to pay an additional $ 1000+ a month to address an escrow shortage. Investigation revealed that XXXX was now billing me for the property taxes for the unit ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in XXXX XXXX that I had deeded to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I retained the second unit ( XXXX XXXX ) which is XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX was deeded lot and block number : XXXX. XXXX claims to have corrected this issue by issuing another refund. On XX/XX/XXXX, when I went to make the old payment of {$3000.00} instead of {$4100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, the teller said to me, Oh, so you are just making a payment today? You are not paying anything toward the principle or interest? As a result of these problems with XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, I requested to end the impound account due to several accounting errors.
XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are now contacting me on XX/XX/XXXX claiming that I owe them money for property taxes they paid on lot and block : XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. The Unit located at XXXX has been owned by XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX and Core Logic state the money should have been paid on my lot and block number : XXXX. XXXX and Core Logic is claiming that {$3400.00} was paid on the other Unit ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and that amount is now owed to them, that somehow this payment of property taxes on lot XXXX benefited me.
The CFPB has been involved with the property ( XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX on Complaint number XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. The attached documents showing the original loan documents showing what the bank agreed to fund beginning XX/XX/XXXX, as well as XXXX attempt on XX/XX/XXXX to collect taxes on a property owned by them since XX/XX/XXXX. The company has a pattern of poor business practices and the problem needs to be corrected. XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are the two companies involved in this recent issue. A second CFPB complaint filed against XXXX XXXX in XXXX is complaint : XXXX. The complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is related to the initial complaints against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: Safe Rent is showing an account for a company known as, " XXXX XXXX XXXX, '' as open and not paid from 2007. The account is closed and is past the statute of limitations and should no longer be reported on any credit report. When trying to rent an apartment, XXXX is attempting to in sense force me to pay them the money from this old debt and because its past the statute of limitations and can not legally sue me for the amount or report in on my XXXX, XXXX, or XXXX reports is using their knowledge of my desire for the new rental apartment to pay them on this old and void collection to pay. Because the apartment complex has to hear form XXXX XXXX that the amount of, {$1800.00} is paid or no longer void will not rent to me. XXXX XXXX knows the amount in question is pass the statute of limitations and attempting to collect on this old collection by not reporting updated information to the, Safe Rent collection bureau or the desired rental i 'm attempting to do business with now is nothing short of blackmail ....

Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Complaint: Within the last 2 days, a company called Credco, formerly Core Logic did a hard inquiry on my credit without my consent. I have not applied for any type of loan or done anything to trigger a hard inquiry. When I called Credco they could not find any hard inquiry done by them based on my name and social yet they refused to fix the problem, blaming other companies. They suggested that I call the name and number associated with the hard inquiry. The name is CREDCO and they answered the number I called. They caused my credit to plunge by 31 points by doing this! I did NOT authorize this and I want it REMOVED.

Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Complaint: I obtained my annual credit report XXXX Upon reviewing I noticed I have 30+ inquiries that are affecting my score. I have been car shopping for the past few years but never would have thought this information would have been shared with whomever they wanted ... ... ... I will list these below. I first called XXXX today XXXX who gave me the protocol to request to have these inquiries removed. I then attempted to call the next group of creditors that had access some how to my report, XXXXstore cards?? I called and spoke with a rep who failed to tell me I was speaking with the fraud department. After speaking with her I explained why I was calling. All I requested per XXXX was an inquiry deletion letter. She proceeded to repeat to me all she could do is file an investigation for identity theft, that is the only way for these inquiries to be removed. She stated I would need to contact the credit bureau for further information as that is all that they could do. I then asked her if she could give me a date as to how long this would affect me and all she kept repeating was sorry we do not have a time frame to again call the credit bureau. I then again called XXXX and this time spoke with a supervisor and he repeated the same protocol. I explained I am aware but what am I suppose to do now ... ... .he stated to obtain a police report for proof they could not give me the inquiry deletion letter and submit this to them to then be reviewed to see what they could do???? I believe this is unnecessary as I am trying to buy a house and I can not even get the first group of inquiries deletion process started as no one neither the company nor the credit bureau can help me!!!!! How can any of which hold my information but not assist me? PLEASE HELP! XXXX Auto Dealers?
