Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I applied to XXXX XXXX for an auto loan. My daughter XXXX XXXX and I applied as co-buyers and were approved for a loan for up to {$35000.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, we went to XXXX XXXX to look at a car that we saw online. At the agency, we indicated to the selling agent, XXXX XXXX, that we already had XXXX XXXX financing approved for the vehicle. However, the salesperson indicated that they were going to try to get less expensive financing and asked us to wait until they checked. However, my daughter and I were unaware that they were doing hard credit inquiries as we waited for them to come back, but the sales person, who had our application announced that they were going back to the XXXX XXXX offer that I brough in since they could not find a better deal for my daughter, XXXX, and we indicated that we told them that from the start -- that we already had XXXX XXXX approval for me at {$35000.00}. We purchased a XXXX XXXX from them. I am attaching the images of the agreements if you need them. However, several days later, my daughter, XXXX and I received credit rejection letters regarding financing for the XXXX. Recently, when I looked at my credit report, I was surprised to find two ( 2 ) hard credit inquiries. My daughter found seven ( 7 ) on her credit report. We are complaining because we don't recall giving XXXX of XXXX any consent or authorizations to do any inquiries, especially hard inquiries, as we already had our financing available with XXXX XXXX, which we processed ourselves. I am attaching a copy of the screenshots of mine and my daughter 's hard inquiry information as it appears on our credit bureau report.

Complaint: I was to CO-Sign for my son on an auto loan at XXXX XXXX in XXXX Tennessee. I live in another county and spoke to the salesman who i did give consent to do a credit check, but now have 7 HARD inquiries on my credit. This was not explained to me that they would use my ss in this manner and then when I got to the place to check on paperwork I declined to sign for the existing loan at 20 % and they had it in my name as primary. We went to XXXX and got a loan at 4 % and Co-signed for my son. This practice of making multiple hard inquiries even at credit unions where we did not have accounts is damaging to my credit report and an unfair practice. All of the inquiries were from XX/XX/2018. Please let me know what can be done to fix this. I am making this edit at the very end as there are 4 more companies involved that the computer system did not allow me to enter. Those are XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX AND XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: On XX/XX/18 I inquired about information relating to the home buying process. I provided my name, email, and telephone number to XXXX XXXX. At XXXX on XX/XX/18 I received a call from XXXX XXXX associated with XXXX XXXX on a recorded line. I was asked if I wanted to give permission to do a hard inquiry on my credit report and I replied that I did not give permission for that, and I am not interested in continuing the process as I was just looking for information. On XX/XX/18 a hard inquiry was added to my credit report by Credco. On XX/XX/18 I contacted XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX via email at XXXX stating I would be filing a complaint due to a hard inquiry done without permission and my specific instructions not to do so. I received no response. I am awaiting a response from XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: There is a XX/XX/2018 record of an inquiry on my credit report which was made without my consent. The company name is CREDCO, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX, which I was able to find out was XXXX XXXX. The only contact I have ever had with XXXX XXXX was when they called me to solicit a refinance in XXXX, CA. I already had a new loan on a new home purchase 3 months before and told them I was not interested. When they asked about checking my credit ( in order to convince me of a better deal ), I specifically told them " absolutely not ; I do not want you dinging my credit '' and " I will not be interested in the near future ''. They assured me they would not pull my credit, but continued to provide rate information for future consideration anyhow. I have tried to get a response to remove this from my credit, but the requests to contact me have been ignored. I have never applied or requested consideration for a loan with this company and want it off my 3 credit records as it affects my score negatively. I see many complaints online about the same issue with XXXX XXXX and hope this inappropriate behavior can be stopped or affected enough to reduce future instances. Thank you.

Complaint: On XX/XX/18 I was denied application into XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX due to a credit/consumer/background/criminal report done by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . They said that my tenant risk score was too low even though my Transunion tenant score was higher. When I asked how the score was derived XXXX told me Corelogic does the score. When I called Corelogic they said XXXX does the score. XXXX sent me Corelogics flyer and according to it I should have qualified with no problems. I have a long standing work history with the same employer, no evictions, no criminal record and no collection or past due accounts. I lost out on a purchase of a condo with no explanation. I wanted to appeal but the owner had another offer which was higher than mine so I refused. I believe the association management company XXXX XXXX XXXX adjusted my score with the help of Corelogic.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 my Husband and I were approved for an auto loan with XXXX XXXX for {$31000.00}. On XX/XX/2018 my Husband and I ( with the check ) went to XXXX XXXX to purchase a vehicle. That day we picked the vehicle out and gave the XXXX dealership the check. Immediately XXXX was insisting we should get the auto loan through their financing company over XXXX XXXX. My Husband and I incessantly stated we did not want a loan through XXXX. They stated several times they could offer us a better deal. We straightforwardly told them we dont care what the deal and were not interested in their financing. We explained we are trying to establish a financial relationship with XXXX XXXX as we hope to buy a home in the coming years so building the history with XXXX XXXX is our number one goal. I also told XXXX I have taken out 3 major loans ( 2 car loans [ XXXX $ XXXX and now XXXX XXXX $ XXXX ] and one retail loan [ XXXXXXXX XXXX $ XXXX ] ) in the last 7-9 months and I do NOT want another hard inquiry on my credit. Again stating we will only be doing business with XXXX XXXX for a car loan. After several times explaining this they finally moved on and continued the process of buying the car. For tags, title, and insurance I filled out a document that required my drivers license ID number, address, and social security number. After 2 hours we are finally in the Sales Managers office, XXXX, signing the check. XXXX, the Sales Manager, left the office to make copies and retrieve some warranty paperwork. While XXXX was gone I noticed a folder on the table in front of me with my name on it. I opened the folder and at the very top of the pile was a credit report with my name and social security number on it. The file stated I had a XXXX credit score. When the Sales Manager returned I immediately asked him Did you pull my credit?. He reassured me he didnt pull my credit but that its customary to retrieve some information regarding my credit. He stated again this is nothing that is going to appear on your credit as my Husband and I did not apply for any loan through XXXX. The following day I received an alert from XXXX XXXX telling me a company by the name of XXXX pulled my credit. I personally called XXXX and asked them if they pulled my credit through a company called XXXX. They told me if XXXX had pulled my credit it would have shown up on my credit report as XXXX pulling it. I then called XXXX on XX/XX/2018 and requested the name of the company who authorized the credit to be pulled. XXXX stated they provide their services with XXXX. I explained my case to XXXX. They asked me to solve this issue with XXXX. I explained XXXX has told me several times they didnt pull my credit so Im not getting anything resolved with them. I asked XXXX if I could file a dispute through them as Im a unhappy customer who DID NOT authorized my credit to be pulled by XXXX. XXXX supposedly open a fraud case and would be notifying XXXX of my complaint. On XX/XX/2018 I called XXXX and spoke to the General Manager, XXXX. XXXX apologized that I am unhappy with my credit being pulled and didnt see an application completed by myself or my Husband. She stated she would talk with the Sales Manager, XXXX and get to the bottom of this. I then received a call from XXXX where he told me I did not pull your credit as I told you to your face when you asked me. He then said someone in the office must have pulled my credit. I asked him what will he do to assist me with getting this off my credit score. He told me there is nothing he can do. He then went on to say they will hold a training on this with the employees but he does not know who pulled my credit. I am profusely upset on the way Ive been treated. XXXX received payment in full of $ XXXX ( $ XXXX from the XXXX XXXX Check provided that day we left with the car ) and then $ XXXX on our credit card. They received full payment and pulled my credit without authorization. Now my credit score and family will suffer but XXXX is paid and they get to get closer to their quotas of how many applications/credit pulls they get in the month of XXXX. Being told the Sales Manager didnt pull my credit but SOMEONE in the office did is not comforting to a customer who is now in debt $ XXXX and a car I dont even want anymore from XXXX as they have people who lie and mistreat customers.

The moment this inquiry, which was suppose to be a soft one on my credit report to see my options, was applied. I am in the market of purchasing a home and this greatly effects my chances of achieving my goal of purchasing a home that I wish to do as soon as possible. InXX/XX/XXXX/ XX/XX/XXXX, an attorney on my behalf contacted CoreLogic & provided documentation regarding a false report by CoreLogic, a 3rd party Credit reporting agency for " criminal history ''. The supervisor from CoreLogic assured my attorney & I over the phone that this would be removed. We provided proof the " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' was AMENDED TO A NON CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF XXXX XXXX, WHICH IS A DEGREE of " XXXX '' -not a criminal act & as petty as XXXX. NOT A XXXX OR XXXX. FROM NJ-XXXX County, XXXX XXXX, NJ. Yet Core Logic Continues to refuse to allow me to email their legal dept with proof, they have no portal where I can upload the documents and they refuse to email me back stating they can only snail mail me! They provided XXXX which is merely a scripted emailbox & no real live person responds. I got a scripted email stating I'd get a memo from them in mail in 30 days after I disputed with this email address. NOTHING HAPPENED. This has been ongoing problems for years which has cost me thousands of dollars, affected my housing and my quality of life. this company should not force consumers to be on the phone for hours on hold then force consumers to provide them their soc sec NUMBER as a form of identification and other identifying data, opening them up for more fraud, and then if they can't answer their 'identifying ' questions, they are not helped. They need to have a better policy in place than 'snail ' mail & this horrible 'email ' address which does nothing as they are not answered by live people. Then consumers must wait 30 days for a snail mail letter. They should provide it via email.
