Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I opened 2 accounts at Citibank. I funded the accounts with checks from a different bank. The next day Citibank initiated ACH transfers from that different bank without my authorization or access information ( account numbers ). They withdrew funds from my other bank without my authorization.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I got a loan for the equity of my home with Citibank. They asked me to have a Flood insurance policy and I got it with XXXX insurance. On XX/XX/XXXX I made the full payment to Citibank, and I asked them to close the account, an according to the contract if I do not owe anything they shouldn't charge me anything, but I kept receiving letters from them regarding to pay the Flood Insurance. You should know that my home is not in Flood area since XX/XX/XXXX and I do not owe anything to Citibank since XX/XX/XXXX.I kept receiving letters I called them and they did not help me on anything.they kept transferring me to different people, departments and at the end they should hang up on me. I went to talk to the manager of the bank in XXXX where i got the loan " XXXX XXXX '' and she called and talk to different people and finally she cant do anything. I went to the insurance company and the representative XXXX XXXX called the Citibank and talked to a lady her name is XXXX and she told her i had to pay {$410.00} as an overlap I do not know why, I always had coverage, and I always paid everything on time, even though I paid the amount waiting do not receive more letters. They required me to close the account the following : a money order for {$64.00} letter of authorization to close the account again, I did everything and they never close the account. I had been receiving bills and letters, now they want to charge {$1700.00}. They continue purchase Insurance for me for a loan that I do not have. I called again and they kept me on the line transferring me with different people. I am completely frustrate, I do not know what can I do. nobody seems to understand why they have not closed my account but nobody helps me either.

Complaint: I had a citi bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX decided they were switching to XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX. I told them I not want an XXXX XXXX Card and I did not want them to transfer my information to XXXX XXXX. Citi Bank said the only way to stop this was to cancel my citi bank credit card. I did this, but I still received a XXXX XXXX Credit card in XX/XX/2018. This means XXXX XXXX was given my information without my consent. Citi Bank gave my information to XXXX XXXX even though I expressly told them not to do so.

Complaint: I have not been receiving rewards certificates for my best buy ( citibank credit card. ) I received a {$5.00} certificate that was reissued yesterday. I called their customer service number to find out what was going on. I have {$50.00} worth of reward certificates on my account, but their computer system says they were sent out so they can not be re-issued. I have checked every email account and can not find record of any emails with the reward certificates. I did find one for {$20.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with one gentleman before asking to speak to his supervisor ( who did not know what a supervisor was ). I spoke with XXXX ( Case ID XXXX ) today XX/XX/XXXX the entire call was from XXXX to XXXX XXXX ( CST ). I was told it was recorded. No matter what question I asked, I was given a scripted response. What is the point of having a rewards program when I can't used rewards points I was earning. I was specifically using my credit card to earn certificates to purchase a computer with Best Buy.

Complaint: Under a prior investigation, Citibank reported that they could not accept payment to clear the Sears Card charge off that appears on my credit report. They acknowledge their total lack of customer service and egregious late fees of XXXX presented for a XXXX purchase. They merely refuse to assist and are advising me to standby for the negative reporting to evaporate. Please request the negative reporting removed. This account failed due to poor communication and exorbitant Citibank fees. Removing the chargeoff in recognition of my XXXX Government service status and otherwise commendable credit history would be a redeeming act for the villainous massive Corporation and would help me in performing a large consolidation putting me a step closer to meeting the financial requirements that my wifes terminal illness represents.

Complaint: I have a credit card account with Citi Bank and requested a credit line increase online o n XX/XX/XXXX. Their web page specifically stated that no inquiries will be placed on my credit report, which is the reason why I requested the increase. On XX/XX/XXXX, a 'hard inquiry ' was placed on my credit report by Citibank NA with address XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX , SD XXXX. I have not authorized or agreed to this inquiry and would like to have the inquiry removed from my credit report as it brings my credit score down. I contacted Citi Bank and their customer service agent could not explain why a 'hard inquiry ' was placed on my report for a simple credit line increase request, however they said that there is nothing that they can do and refused to help me any further.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice that my credit rating was negatively impacted by a late payment to XXXX. I apparently did receive the bill electronically, but it never notified me that my payment was late. The credit representative said there was a " subtle reminder. '' Also, XXXX XXXX claims they tried to call me but had the wrong number. If you sign up for automatic notices, they should send you a specific reminder. But that is not the primary issue here. I have had a XXXX 's account since 2008 and had no issues. What bothered me here was when I called XXXX 's to discuss the situation, they said they could help me with the credit report if I paid the past due balance -- and once it posted they would give me the contact number. I did not have a problem with this, as missing this payment was an accident and I had full intention to pay. However, when I called this contact number if was clear that XXXX 's had no intention of fixing the problem on the credit report, and said that they could not do it. This was a bait and switch tactic.

Complaint: My Citi Hilton honors card was closed in XX/XX/XXXX, as they decided to transfer the business to Amex. Mistakenly, I made one payment to Citi during the transition. The payment was in the amount of {$100.00}. This payment was not applied to my amex card, as I had to pay them the same amount and interest when I was notified my card was past due. Citi send me a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that they have my payment, and a copy of the check, but they don't have an account to apply it to. ( letter has a reference number XXXX. I don't have my old Citi card number ) I've called 3 times. Once I was told to " wait '', once I was told to call Amex ( I did, they told me to call Citi ) and once I was bounced around to multiple people and then the call was disconnected. I also sent an email to Citi consumer complaints. No response. Its only XXXX bucks ... which quick honestly I could care less about. Its the principle of the matter, its the time I have spend trying to get it back, and its the thought that someone, some family who has nothing, and needs that XXXX $ to live, couple possibly be out the money and unable to get it back. In fact, I don't care if I get the money ... I just don't want Citi to have it. Donate it to a food bank, and send me proof.
