Complaint: In XX/XX/2018, I completed a balance transfer to my Citi Double Cash card. At the time, I had my card set up to auto-pay the statement balance on the due date each month. However, I forgot to change that after completing the balance transfer and when the due date came my checking account was auto drafted for an amount that well exceeded my checking account balance. I noticed something was wrong when I got an email regarding the overdraft fee from my bank. I immediately cancelled auto pay for my card via the Citi mobile app. I was frustrated to see the same transaction attempted again twice, both generating the same overdraft fee as before. I then called Citi customer service for an explanation and was even transferred to a supervisor for assistance. I was told that Citis policy is to attempt the transaction 3 times before it is returned. The supervisor told me there was nothing I could do to prevent this and that me canceling auto pay after the first attempt did not cancel the 2 subsequent attempts.

Complaint: I contacted the CitiMortgage ( CitiBank ) in XX/XX/XXXX and was given the payoff amount to pay my loan in full ... see attached ... {$5800.00}. I was told to pay it by XX/XX/XXXX. I paid it on XX/XX/XXXX through my bank debit and that evidence is also attached. I received a statement dated XX/XX/XXXX and then one XX/XX/XXXX indicating I owed additional money - both contradicted each other and indicating I didn't pay until XX/XX/XXXX. I have evidence I paid in XX/XX/XXXX so called and asked what happened. I spoke to one person early XX/XX/XXXX who stated they showed I hadn't paid until XX/XX/XXXX and I would have to prove otherwise. They made it obvious Citi had failed to process timely. I received my impound funds late XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1500.00} and they withheld {$430.00} as an escrow adjustment because they said I paid in XX/XX/XXXX. I called and talked to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and she agreed I paid on XX/XX/XXXX ... Citi 's mistake ... and I would get my refund by XX/XX/XXXX. Nope. I called again and they hung up on me. I filed a complaint with occ.treas.gov Case # XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and just found out today they referred the case to your organization on the same date. I talked to XXXX today ( XXXX was no help as she promised send an email but did not ) and she indicated there was no case and I would have to refile. In addition, Citi promised they would send a conveyance document to the County of XXXX so I could get my deed. I paid for this service. As of today 's date, this has not been done. I wonder how many other people have been ripped off by Citi? I volunteer my services to audit this organization 's books. I have the credentials.

Complaint: CBNA is wrongly reporting my best buy credit card as 60 days late. This reckless reporting has been going on with Citibank A.K.A. CBNA, for 4 months, since my card was compromised. On XX/XX/XXXX CNBA finally completed their investigation which began in XX/XX/XXXX. CBNAs investigation concluded my account was compromised and I would not be responsible for any of the reported charges. CBNA also concluded a new card would be mailed out to me. During the investigation, I was restricted from access to my account, any charges or balances. I was not mailed any statements and to this day of XX/XX/XXXX, I have yet to be mailed or provided a statement by any means. My previous conversations with the fraud department, which i highly recommend reviewing the tapes, The investigator told me not to worry about any payments to the account until after they conclude their investigation and until i receive a statement. However, it seems this information is not forwarded to the department that monitors payments and reports to the credit bureaus. As a result of CNBAs continued recklessness, I was turned down for a mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX buy XXXX. This is the 2nd time in 3 months I was denied as a direct result of CBNA 's inaccurate reporting. This has cost me thousands in actual damages. Including the fees I had to pay. CBNA 's reporting is also contradicting, it reports I paid my XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXXpayments, yet in XX/XX/XXXX reports me as 60 days late. MAKES NO SENSE I contacted CBNA 's fraud department again on XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX and was assured this would be corrected immediately. It has not been corrected as my XX/XX/XXXX credit bureau reports continue to display 60 days late.

Complaint: I applied for a XXXX 's credit card online and was turned down in a letter to me dated XX/XX/2018 stating " Unable to verify identity information ''. I immediately call the XXXX phone number provided in the letter to rectify the problem. After speaking to a supervisor I was told the cell phone # given wasn't the one in my credit file. I explained that I no longer have that phone and use one that is under my employers business name. I was told they needed to send a text message to a phone registered in my name. At that point I told them I have a landline home phone registered in my name through the cable company. The supervisor claimed a message was sent to it, but didn't work. She asked if I had blocked the phone from getting them. To the best of knowledge cordless landline phones can't receive messages of that type. Next step was me asking if there were any other ways to identify me. The answer I received was no and that the application couldn't be further processed. I called the Executive Office at the XXXX 's I shop at to complain and was basically told the store had nothing to do with it. I was then transferred to a sales manager on duty who said she would try and help. Never got back to me! I then called the XXXX 's corporate office in XXXX, OH. Ended up with a rep. from the wrong dep. that transferred me to what he said is the right dept.. It too turned out to be wrong and when I was supposedly transferred to the correct one the call was disconnected. My contention is XXXX 's by not asking me to go into one of their location with a picture ID to identify me discriminated in offering credit. Also nowhere on the XXXX 's web site does it state in order to get a credit card there must be a cell phone in the applicants name.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX i went to a gas station " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' to get gas. When i handed my Citibank debit card to to the gas station attendant he walked to another pump station only to return and say that their internet was down and thus they couldn't charge the card. I then had a brief conversation with the attendant and then paid the balance in cash. At no point did i sign anything or punch in my debit card PIN. I received a charge of {$43.00} on my Citibank account. I then made the dispute with Citibank over the phone and in written form numerous times. But Citibank always claims they never received my dispute form even though i have mailed it numerous times and faxed it to the billing dispute unit at ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in XX/XX/XXXX, in XX/XX/XXXX andXX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I always added my case # : XXXX. I constantly have to re-open the case since i receive an automated letter claiming Citibank requested necessary information and did not receive a response. This is a simple case where Citibank should recognize that there this is a fraudulent charge. But Citibank does nothing to assist me.

Complaint: NOTE : This is a CHALLENGE as I am NOT DISPUTING. I am always checking for mandatory compliance and am fully aware of the CFPBs enforcement capabilities with furnishers who are non-compliant with the Law, specifically when it is injurious to a consumer. I am requesting a MANDATED COMPLIANT Metro 2 format reporting to be presented with a CERTIFICATE of COMPLIANCE demonstrating that the accounts are entirely true, accurate, complete, timely, of documented ownership, of undoubted responsibility, and documented through testimonial through that certificate of COMPLIANCE making undeniable lawful standing of the claim. Per Law any deficient or substantial and evident matters of facts would be unethically reported and even illegally reported based on several laws that the CFPB, along with the appropriate government divisions who have jurisdiction over this. With that said, to retain such injurious, inaccurate, non-compliant and harmful items is an infraction to these laws as per mandated compliance. The items attached are non-compliant as per the FCRA and CDIA requirements!
