Complaint: I opened a Capital One Money Market Account. Met all of the terms for the {$500.00} bonus, but Capital One refused to give me the bonus. The terms state that you need to deposit XXXX by XX/XX/XXXX. I deposited XXXX in a few transactions, then reached out to get the status of when I would receive my bonus, they said I did not meet the terms. They stated that my account did not have a balance of XXXX. No where in the terms does it say I need to have a balance of XXXX, only XXXX in deposits. Please see the attached PDF with the offer and offer terms. You will see no where in the requirements does it say the word " balance ''.

Complaint: I applied and received a XXXX XXXX card from Capital One, I made my first payment of XXXX early so I didnt have to wait for the auto pay to kick in, but as it happened auto pay took out another XXXX Capital One refunded it on XX/XX/XXXX but then turned around and took it out again, I contacted them on this, they ask me to fax the info from my bank to them, I did so, they claim they didnt get it then they said they did and I would would receive a refund no later than Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX, thats today and no refund, so I contacted them again today they claim they never received it ( sure they did'nt ) so they gave me a link to e-mail it to them, i did so, they I contacted them and wouldn't you know it! they still havent received it.
This is fraud!! CFPB I need you to investigate this and fine Cap One {>= $1,000,000} also i am reporting this to my attorney as well as the Texas Attorney Generals office for investigation.

Problem with customer service
Complaint: The primary cardholder of my Capital One Cabelas Visa Credit Card was changed to my father who cosigned for me to get the card and I am not able to administer the account.
I discovered this when I ran into an issue with my Capital One Cabelas Visa Credit Card where I am not able to login to or even create an account to the online portal where I would go to view my balance and pay my bill. I called customer service on XX/XX/2018 and was told then that I am not the primary card holder on this account.
I am the primary cardholder, and I should be the only card holder on this account so this should not be an issue. After about an hour on hold with the customer service team at Capital One, I was told that an issue had happened where my father ( who was a cosigner on the account - not a joint cardholder ) was converted to the primary cardholder before Capital One took over the Cabelas Visa card. I was told that other users were experiencing this problem and that they would look into it.
Capital One never attempted to contact me back, so on XX/XX/2018 I called them back. I was greeted again as the secondary card holder and transferred to a manager. The manager tried to tell me that they attempted to contact me and that my voicemail was full. This is a false claim as I have received several voicemail messages within the last few months. The manager also told me that they had completed their investigation of my account and that the account is how it was received when it came from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was then told that there was nothing that they could do to help me.
I need to be reinstated as the primary cardholder and my father needs to be removed from the account. Unfortunately, Capital One is unable to help me fix these issues with my account.

Complaint: I have 2 credit card accounts with Capitol One, and thought I had set up Auto Pay using their XXXX-based App starting with XXXX payments, but in XXXX the first payment did not go through and a late fee was applied. A XXXX XXXX phone representative said I never set up Auto Pay, but made only one time payments on the App, and blamed the problem on their App not processing properly. The phone rep did reverse the late fee, and we set up Auto Pay over the phone, but only after a lot of wasted time. Capitol One is setting their customers up of failure by providing an App that conveniently doesn't work, truly enroll their customer in Auto Pay, process payments, and apply late fees, requiring their customers to call in and explain the situation, hoping they reverse fees. The whole point of Auto Pay is ensure that payments are made to avoid late fees, but Capitol One does the opposite the first chance they get, using their Auto Pay enrollment as an opportunity to sew confusion and apply fees. Very sad in XX/XX/2018 to blame an App!

Complaint: I had called the CapitalOne customer service department multiple time ( s ) during XX/XX/2017 where I had made payment arrangements to include an agreed upon payment so that no adverse mark would have been reported. More specifically, I had inquired multiple times that this agreement would not have the consequence to impact my credit score poorly. I was assured that this agreement would not adversely impact me with all respective credit reporting. However, I continue to receive these dates reflect 30 days late for XXXX and XX/XX/2017.
I tried writing letters, calling them, and disputing through the credit bureaus without resolve.
Please help as I have attached my letter that I have sent them!
