Complaint: I have requested numerous times that an executive calls me. I was also told by an " executive coordinator '' would be in contact with me. No one has called me yet, in which this was over a month ago. Their employees provide customers with false information and provide POOR customer service. Both accounts have been paid on time for over 2 years, in which they fail to increase the credit limit on both accounts. Several of their reps have told me that there is an option to have my credit card accounts, " manually reviewed '' and others have said that this is not true.

I would like them to work with me on the debt I actually owe - the original debt was for no more than 750.00 while they're trying to collected over 1,400.00 with " fees '' and doing it in a hostile and illegal way.

Complaint: Opened a XXXX XXXX account in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX a capital one online pmt posted to account for XXXX and was not my transaction or authorized by me. I contacted Capital One on XXXX to have resolved. On XXXX the money was put back in my account but was effective on the day posted - XX/XX/XXXX. There was an interest amount for one day interest credited on XXXX as well. The amount withdrawn should have been posted to my account effective XX/XX/XXXX so that I was not harmed on interest. The interest payment should have been effective XX/XX/XXXX as well. I have called 2-3 more times to try and get them to fix the errors on the account and make me whole and so far nothing has happened. They do not call me back to let me know what is going so I have to keep monitoring, calling them back and explaining every thing all over again.
We are not talking about a lot of money ... .Depending on how they compute the interest it is ether 1.07 or 1.43 in interest for XXXX or 4 days that I should get that right now I will not get as the money was not in my account on XXXX, XXXX XXXX and was finally put back on XXXX.

Complaint: I have two credit cards with Capital One. I added several contractors who work with my family real estate business to pay for repairs as needed. I never gave them the cards, I was if I need them to pay for repairs on site. Capital One restricted my account and ask for the employee ids and social security cards. I did what Capital one requested but never received an answer, so I paid off my account, request them to release my rewards and request they close my account. It has been several months since they restricted my account. I can't use my rewards nor my cards without any explanations of the cause. Even after paying off the account they haven't released my reward, credit balance nor close my account as requested for several weeks.

Complaint: I applied for a Venture Rewards Card with Capital One on XX/XX/19 ... I have excellent credit, above 800 according to my credit reports. Capital One promptly denied my application. I do not have any other cards with Capital One. Today, XX/XX/19, I received their stated reason for my credit denial - that I have too many cards opened within the last 24 months according to a XXXX Report. I then checked my XXXX report ( through XXXX XXXX ) and it only listed me as having 2 credit accounts listed as opened within the last 24 months. I then called Capital One for them to explain to me the reasons of the denial. They tried to tell me to contact the Credit agency - when I said I already reviewed my XXXX report, they told me to contact all agencies. It seemed like they were trying to make up excuses for not approving the application. Then they said they were going to transfer me to a credit specialist and kept me on hold for 40 minutes and then hung up on me. I believe that Captial One targets people with lower credit scores so that they can make money on the accounts and doesn't want me as a customer because they are unlikely to exploit me due to my high credit score.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: I have been disputing a charge with Capital One Credit Card since XX/XX/XXXX. I purchased multiple tickets through XXXX XXXX using my Capital One credit card. However, during the purchase transaction, Capital One initially denied the payment due to security concerns. After resolving the security concern, I was able to purchase the tickets. Unfortunately, duplicate tickets were purchased and Capital One did not stop the payment when I purchased the tickets on the phone with them. I was told to call the Airline company so it could be resolved. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX and was told I would lose my money and not be given any credit. I received notifications of a duplicate ticket from XXXX XXXX but again was not able to obtain a refund. Capital One attempted to get me a refund but was not successful. After 6 months of disputing the transaction with Capital One, I was told by a representative that I would indeed be refunded the amount of XXXX. I called Capital One again XX/XX/XXXX to inquire about my refund and was told by a representative that I would receive the refund but would transfer me to a supervisor to have it processed. I was transferred to the supervisor who then told me that I would not be receiving any refund and that the other Capital One representatives did not explain to him that I would receive a refund. In the end, Capital One was not able to obtain any funds from XXXX XXXX and lied to me on multiple occasions about getting my money back. Capital One asked for a credit voucher from XXXX XXXX in order to refund me any money. How do you get a refund voucher from the company you are disputing the transaction with?

Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: I called Capitol One and said stated the card was stolen and had filed a police report when it was stolen. They said they would open an investigation. They have continued mailed me billings and I call every month and they just give me the run around. I have asked for a copy of the tape from the ATM ( they have never said where this happened ). They said it was a cash withdrawal. I all the years I have had they credit card I have never done an ATM withdrawal. They also said they had a copy of a recording of a woman that called in and verified all my information. I have asked for that recording and still to this day, XX/XX/2019 they have not produced the reporting either.
Now reporting the card past due on my credit report and it is still under fraud investigation.
I have closed my account with them and they can't get it right.
I have called again on Friday, XX/XX/2019 and they stated they would contact me the same day. Today is Monday and I had to contact Capital one again since they still have not called back.
Capital One needs to be looked into for unfair collection practices and not investigating fraud claim.

And presently I have has a job and have been paying off my balances slowly and been making a 100 % on time payments. Complaint: To whom it may concern : I have a Capital One 360 checking account since XX/XX/2018. Unfortunately I had a situation where a person cashed a check for a service that was not rendered. I reached out to the person but I haven't heard anything and I suspect I became a victim of fraud since she won't return my money. I contacted Capital One and they couldn't do anything for me, even try to get that money back for me. I relied on this bank for some time and now I lost my money because of their poor controls since they never flagged this transaction as suspicious or reached me out about the particular.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: 10 months ago I was unable to make my regular monthly payments due to a job loss and was instructed that If I made minimum payments until the balance was below my credit limit the card would be unrestricted and I would be able to once again use the card as before. After making 8 monthly payments on time and in the amount required I finally was below the credit limit of the card. I was still unable to use the card as before and when contacting the credit card company was now told the credit card would be permanently restricted from use without an explanation as to why? Given that I complied with all their requests in good faith making monthly payments on time, I also paid the annual membership fee on time and complied with all their requirements, it seems that the credit card unfairly deceived me into believing that my credit would be restored when in fact that was never going to happen.

Complaint: I was shocked when reviewing my credit report and found late payments on the dates below : 30 days late as of XX/XX/2017 ( all 3 bureaus ) 60 days late as of XX/XX/2017 ( all 3 bureaus ) I am not sure how this happened. I believe I made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my statements did not get to me.
