Complaint: on or about XXXX XXXX 2017 I received a brochure from XXXX XXXX Master card ( Barclaycard ) Offering me to Upgrade my present XXXX XXXX Master card to a new XXXX XXXX Master card Plus foe an annual fee of {$99.00}. When i called i was told that i did not qualify at this time and to call back in 24 to 48 hours. I called every two days for almost three weeks and was told the same, that i did not qualify. No one could give me a reason why i did not qualify. Frustrated i filled out an application for this new card and a few days later i received the new card. I called Barclaycard to have my balance transfered to my new card and was told i had to pay off this balance of {$1700.00} and would not transfer it to my New XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained to this manager that i had received a Brochure for an upgrade and was told i did not qualify. My complaint is that if i was able to upgrade all balances would have been transferd with no problem. My FICO is XXXX.My credit is excellent. I still have this brochure with my last four digits printed on it. This is deceptive advertising

Complaint: Will have to review dates, amounts and actions that I took in response to charge made by XXXX . XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. All amounts charged by XXXX . XXXX were disputed both with credit card company and with XXXX . XXXX. Refund was issued by XXXX . XXXX. For some reason the statements that were filed in response to the last complaint issued for not receiving accurate information through online account system regarding payments and not receiving statements regularly included " re-bills '' of the amounts charged by XXXX . XXXX. This was not agreed upon and since the amounts were initially disputed and refunded over at least two and half years ago, they appeared re-billed on the statements in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. Again, this is the type of activity that raised suspicion whether or not the balance reported through this credit card company was accurate.

Complaint: My complaint is with t he Barclaycard " Gold Card ' ' credit card, that prior t o XXXX 2016 allowed Service Members to not pay the annual fee for the primary and additional users and receive a 0 % APR for duration of XXXX XXXX XXXX . After XXXX 2016 the company changed its policy and stated that the previous requireme nt was null and void and now all XXXX XXXX would be required to pay the annual fee of {$990.00} per year. This change greatly affects the terms and conditions that were presented when I activated my membership on XXXX XXXX 2016 . I have the letter stating that in XXXX 2016 , I would not need to pay the annual fee, not pay an additional user fee and I would receive a 0 % APR for my duration on XXXX XXXX XXXX . Each time, the Barclays representative says that a trouble ticket has been entered and that someone would address the issue, and contact us. During the last call, we told Barclays that we would file a complaint with CFPB if they did not address the issue. Complaint: Barclay Bank Card Company bill ed for a charge on a XXXX XXXX XXXX card I never received and never activated. After many complaints the company terminated the card and the charge. It did not remove the entries from my credit record despite my requests to do so. BUT, I applied for another different card at XXXX XXXX , and it turns out this same compan y ( Barclay ) services that card also, so my application was denied for the reason that Barclay has flagged my account as delinquent or something else stating I did not pay a balance ( it must mean the service charge on the old XXXX XXXX XXXX , which Barclay waived because I never received or ever activated that card ). I have an excellent credit score in the high XXXX 's and good credit. This is unfair and will limit my obtaining future cards from a lot of places serviced by Barclay Bank.

Complaint: Barclays continually does a HARD credit inquiry EVERY month alleging " approaching credit limit '' which causes my credit score to not only go down BUT adds additional inquiries to my total destroying my score. THERE IS NO REASON TO ADD HARD INQUIRIES EACH MONTH JUST TO SAY APPROACHING LIMIT AND RUIN MY SCORE. This is an ABUSE of the credit reporting system and is done in retaliation by Barclays to attack customers holding balances on their account. My account is current, NOT over limit and not in violation of terms and conditions STOP THE ILLEGAL HARD CREDIT INQUIRIES BY BARCLAYS

Complaint: I submitted a previous complaint and I am not happy with the response ( attached ). First and foremost they are stating I was not discriminated against when clearly I was. I would like someone to listen to the call as stated in the previous complaint when I was denied the option to change my payment options so I will not miss my forbearance payment arrangement. However as we fast forward to today I am now out of the forbearance agreement due to missed payments ( interesting ). The original complaint had to deal with me calling to make a payment and in the end they did not believe it was me and refused to take my payment. I was already in a financial hardship and now they have caused me even more pain. I want the credit reporting stopped until this issue is resolved. In the letter I was told I can make a payment. Please note I am locked out of my online banking and my statements are sent electronically. My last payment amount was {$20.00} a month in the forbearance agreement my new payment is unknown. I tried calling in XXXX 2017 again to try to rectify the situation since I have not heard back from the first CFPB complaint. I was transferred to credit department or collections not sure exactly which one. Where I was told that my credit will be fixed and they would take a payment. When I was transferred the call was lost. I then called back was given the number to the department I was being transferred to and again the call was lost. When I called the number to the department I was being transferred to it was a fax line. I had to get back to work so I was unable to attempt a 4th try. I want my credit report fixed and to be compensated for the hours I spent working on this issue. I spent well over 4 hours to rectify this and still nothing. The best result give me a settlement offer of 40 % of the balance and we can call it a day and we will never see speak to each other again I can promise you that. And most important as I stated previously FIX MY CREDIT due to your error.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I signed up for the luxury gold card. The company offered an scra benifits that waived all fees ( including the annual fee ) and gave me 0 % APR on all purchases. In XX/XX/XXXX I heard of friends trying to get the same deal but the company stopped offering it. I spoke with a representative and was ensured that I was grandfathered in and my benifits would not change. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter stating that I would be forced to pay the annual fee in XX/XX/XXXX all other benifits would remain.
