Complaint: I am a customer oof Bank of America for 34 years. They have a program re ATM Overdraft Services where you can sometimes take out more than is in your account at the ATM. They tell you before hand that there is a {$35.00} fee which you must agree to. A couple of years ago or so they would debit my account {$35.00} every 5 days, which amounted to a lot of money. I was not informed of that ahead of time. I did call customer service at one point and I was told that was the rule, but for some unknown reason, they now only charge the one fee that you are informed of. I'de like to know what happened to all those {$35.00} fees that were taken from my account. There were many. Thank you.

Complaint: I was charged a late fee on my credit card for having been less than one day late. I paid my bill the morning following the midnight cut off period. Due to Bank of America 's computer system not working at the time, I was unable to make the payment on the Saturday XX/XX/XXXX deadline. Therefore, I had to make the payment the following day ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and thus I was charged a late fee of {$28.00}. I called the company ask that it be removed. They refused to do anything about the late fee. I spoke with XXXX XXXX in the XXXX call center on XX/XX/XXXX after I noticed there was a late charge. She refused to do anything about the fee and refused to waive it. I have been a loyal customer for Bank of American since XXXX. I am filing a complaint to have the {$28.00} late fee removed because there was an error in the online computer system of Bank of America that did not allow me to make the payment on the date/time that I attempted to. I would like the {$28.00} late fee waived or reversed.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX/2019 I was a victim of a fraudulent transaction posted to my checking account with Bank of America. Early in the morning, I made an atm cash deposit in the amount of {$21.00} at XXXX XXXX XXXX near XXXX airport. I used my debit card shortly after my deposit and at XXXX PT I made a second cash atm deposit in the amount of {$92.00} at the XXXX XXXX XXXX in Long Beach . When I checked my printed atm deposit receipt, my available balance was showing - {$0.00}, so I went inside of the branch and spoke to a representative who told me to file a dispute and in addition, ask for my deposit to be reversed, so the branch could refund my cash deposit, as they were going to use an internal code to authorize the refund of my deposit due to the fraudulent transaction posted to my account, and so I could take my deposit with my credit union checking account, which was not compromised with fraudulent transactions. I spoke on the phone with XXXX in Florida and he told me that the dispute was placed and a temporary credit in the amount of {$100.00} ( amount of fraudulent transaction posted on my account ) would be posted back to my checking account. I believed that XXXX had also reversed my atm deposit, so the branch manager could refund my deposit, but my account continued showing a negative balance in the amount of - {$0.00}, so I contacted Bank of America 's 800 number again and for the next few days and spoke with several representatives about my temporary credit, however, nothing was resolved. I filed a complaint with the CFPB against Bank of America for the fact that the bank authorized a transaction in the amount of {$100.00} on an account with a available balance of {$7.00} at the time the transaction and the fact that my account is not set for overdraft protection and the transaction should have been declined. I also spoke twice with a Bank of America representative named XXXX on ( XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX on ( XX/XX/XXXX ) but still did not get my temporary credit processed. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from XXXX XXXX with Enterprise Resolution on behalf of Bank of America, in regards to my complaint with CFPB, however the number and extension provided by XXXX goes straight to a voicemail and does not transfer to a live representative, so my issue continues unresolved. On her email she asks to be contacted no later than XX/XX/XXXX, 2019 and she should be my only point of contact from now on, but I have not been able to reach her, since the calls goes to voicemail. Meanwhile, I continue unable to access my funds from the cash atm deposit in the amount of {$92.00} made on XXXX19 and my available balance shows - {$2.00}. I have received three emails from Bank of America advising me about insufficient funds to my account, however Bank of America is not taking the fraudulent transaction as fraud and they are treating it as a simple dispute and has not issued the temporary credit to my account.
I was advised by both by XXXX and XXXX XXXX that Bank of America is delaying my temporary deposit due to past dispute transactions on my account. I am being discriminated by Bank of America for having had issues with merchants on the past that required to be disputed and they are not taking the fraudulent transaction seriously.
I filed an identity theft report with IdentityTheft.gov and the reference number is XXXX.

Complaint: I tried to dispute a charge for the amount of {$1600.00} made from my bank of America account on XX/XX/19. I never received the services from the merchant so I requested a refund I never got a response from the merchant on my many attempts. I started a dispute with my Bank. During the process, my bank never kept me updated and I had to keep calling weeks after weeks to get updates. My bank finally told me that they were not going to dispute the charge because the merchant already has the money and can't get it back. Complaint: Back during the great recession, approximately XXXX, 2013, Bank of America, who was struggling mightily with bad debt in general, decided unilaterally, without any issues of non or late payment on my end, to suspend my line of credit XXXX both secured and unsecured ). The Credit Line Suspension occurs on my credit report and has been reported to me to negatively affect my credit score to this day ( I have consistently paid back the loan to this day with the suspension language hanging over my credit report ).
Bank of America was bailed out by the tax payers but at the same time did previous harm to their lenders who were not delinquent in payment or fulfilling any of their obligations.
BOA should correct my credit report.

Complaint: My complaint is with Bank of Anerica. They cancelled all my credit cards with them for no reason. I had saved rewards totalling XXXX. They did not notify me that they cancelled them on XX/XX/2018. So when they cancelled i lost all my cash rewards. I was saving money to open a XXXX XXXX acct with them. My credit score has always been XXXX to XXXX all my life. I never paid a bill late. I took this to small claims court but the judge ruled the bank can do anything they want. I just want my cash rewards owed me.

Complaint: I cancelled my debit card and ordered a new one. I received a temporary card and was told by the branch professional that once I activated the permanent card, the temporary card would no longer be in use. Well ... ..I activated the permanent card and left the temp card on my desk at home. My cousin called me inquiring about how my daughter had money and told me the color of the card she was using which I immediately knew was the temp card. I immediately called BOA and disputed the charges. They would not file the claim UNTIL i filed a police report on my XXXX year old daughter! After contemplating with that decision, I filed the report with XXXX County and filed the complaint. The only info they requested from me was the police report number. Never heard anything until last week when I receive a letter stating the credit was being reversed! 3 months later! Are you serious? I called and spoke with a rep who said was reopening the claim. She never asked me to provide additional documentation and also stated the temp credit would NOT be removed. Well it HAS. I called today and got a totally different spill or run downas with any time I call BOA. They appear to always run from responsibility. There is little communication. I wasnt expected my claim to be denied, being that I had to file a police report against my daughter, let alone the credit to be reversed when I was told it was not! BOA claims department is the WORST! Unethical and unprofessional!

Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Therefore I put a fraud alert on my credit. Every since Ive done it I have been getting denied for credit due to not being able to verify my identity. I applied for a company called XXXX they denied me for that reason after I answered 10 questions completely correct. I offered to send check stubs my social and my ID. They said that I am still a credit risk. The same with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. Also I filed a XXXX XXXX XXXX compliant and they did nothing about it. Im having the same issue with Bank of America they sent me a letter saying that they would remove things that arent mine and that theyre not going to hold me responsible but they wont remove the information from they system for me to open an account. XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX too.
