Debt was paid
Complaint: Bank of America took my house under false pretenses by saying that we needed to fall behind on our mortgage in order for them to help us under HARP.
The house was foreclosed on after years of harassment. They got my house lost a lawsuit for fraud for taking the house. Reported the check they had to send for screwing my whole family as an income for tax purposes, just as a criminal enterprise would, and then has the balls to sell debt on the house to a 3rd party debt collector. ( XXXX ) I will NOT pay one cent on debt already settled once!

Other problem
Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I paid off the entire balance of {$22000.00} owing on my zero interest Bank of America credit card. The zero interest offer was set to end XX/XX/2019. I paid the credit card on time each and every month during the zero interest offer. On XX/XX/2019, the day after paying off the entire balance, Bank of America unilaterally closed my credit card account. I believe this was done in response to my paying off the entire balance thereby depriving Bank of America of the high interest payments due to commence in XX/XX/XXXX. Instead of serving to repair my credit by making this payment, Bank of America has harmed my credit by cancelling my account for specious reasons. My credit score is good and I have always paid this credit card on time. I have never defaulted on any debt in my 34 years of credit history and earn {$190000.00} per year. Credit utilization and amount were cited as the reason why my card was cancelled, yet these factors have remained the same over the course of the last year. The only difference is I paid Bank of America every dime it was owed prior to the lapse of the zero interest offer. I believe this is a fraudulent pattern and practice of Bank of America -- to close zero interest accounts that are paid in full just prior to excessively high interest rates kicking in after the expiration of the introductory offer.

Problem making or receiving payments
Complaint: Bank of America would not release the funds on a government check as they have in the past, without notification and are holding the check for 10 days. I am a customer of 7+ years with this bank. I was not given any notice that they would not honor and release funds as they have in the past. This cause a serious problem for my workers, business, and home. I now have a lapse in health insurance, car insurance, 30 day lateness on my car and mortgage payment, and my payroll company will probably fine me as well, just to name a few. The bank has charged me over $ 500.00+ in bank fees just for XXXX. I want all my accounts reviewed and monies refunded to me that was unfairly charged because of how they hold money to create bank fees for themselves. This is predatory and discriminatory. I feel I am being targeted by Bank of America because I ama small minority businesses.
I want my accounts reviewed, bank fees from the passed 7 years refunded that fit the criteria of unfair, abusive, manipulative, deceptive, predatory and shady. I want a letter from the bank that can be submitted to all 3 credit bureaus.

Complaint: Its now been 4 years and Bank of America still allowed fraudulent things to happen to my account and blame it on me. 2015 is when my account was closed due to fraudulent activity within my account and now is showing up on my si consumer report. I am not sure how its still showing up when I was allowed to open up accounts with credit unions. This is now a big thing because the total to be paid to Bank of America is ridiculous. Bank of America is ridiculous!

Problem with fees
Complaint: On XX/XX/19, I called to cancel my Bank of America credit card and to get a refund the annual fee associated with that card. When the card was cancelled, I was told that I would receive a bill for the amount due, and that it should have the fee refunded. However, I have checked multiple times, including calling, and the fee has not been refunded, nor have I received a final bill. I have tried to call again today XX/XX/19, and they have told me that the fee can not be refunded since the account is closed. I feel baited and switched, and all I want is for the fee to be refunded. It is customary by Bank of America to refund the annual fee if the card is cancelled within 30 days, and this is what I attempted to do. The account can not be reopened, and thus I have paid an annual fee for a card I do not possess.
