Complaint: on my XX/XX/2019 amex bill their is a charge for XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX. so i disputed the charge and said not only dont i recognize the charge, i didnt rent any car in XXXX. so ill attach the letter they sent stating that they are ataching proof that we did rent, so what they sent is a copy of the bill and copy of my sons medicare card what the XXXX is that? and is it hard to prove i rented car no senz me a signature but they send me mt sons medicare card. i want perm credit on the account for this charge. its amex card ending XXXX. Complaint: I WAS SCAMMED BY TWO DIFFRENT COMPANIES. I PAID XXXX XXXX {$990.00} WITH A CHECK ON XXXX. I ALSO PAID XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 4 DIFFRENT TIMES USING MY AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD ONXX/XX/XXXX..XX/XX/XXXX {$390.00} EACH TIME.. {$1400.00} ON XXXX AND ANOTHER {$1500.00} ON XXXX. THESE COMPANIES DID NOTHING FOR ME AND I HAVE TRIED TO GET MY REFUND AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

Complaint: I was charged on my American Express card by XXXX XXXX in the disputed amount of {$14000.00} from 5 separate charges from XX/XX/2017. I was building a new home. The home is completed. There has been an ongoing dispute with American Express since XX/XX/2017. I am being charged for items I never recieved and for damaged wood that I refused to use. The damaged wood was suppose to be picked up by XXXX XXXX and credited back to my account. Although, XXXX XXXX scheduled a pick up for the return, they never showed up. The damaged wood was paid via a check from my personal account. The other items were never recieved. I have asked time and time again for proof of delivery, a signature of anyone working at the site of my new home to no avail. American Express asked me to contact XXXX XXXX directly which I did from the onset of this problem. In addition I called the person who represents XXXX XXXX XXXX credit disputes and left her a message ( I could never get a hold of her directly, I even tried today ) she returned my call and left a message on my cell phone stating " she did not understand my calling as there was no open case for me. XXXX XXXX had been paid in fill by AMEX in XX/XX/2017 ''. Of course this left me no leverage. I called AmEX and they reopened the case again and again and again. I simply asked for proof of delivery which XXXX XXXX can not provide as they never delivered additional products nor did they pick up the wood for return. XXXX XXXX never returned to my job site after their first few deliveries. American Express has accepted mere notes as proof that XXXX XXXX should be paid instead of actual signatures of proof of delivery. I have provided pictures of the damaged wood that caused us to cease using XXXX XXXX material. I have also attached a canceled picture of my {$10000.00} check. American Express has now sent me a letter telling me that they reserve the right to cancel my AmEx and it will never be reinstated! XXXX XXXX has many reviews stating the same problem I have from other clients. They should not be able to get away with fraudulent charges. American Express should not be able to pay on my behalf without proof of delivery. American Express should not be able to threaten me with cancelation of my card. American Express was made aware of the situation immediately and still choose to pay XXXX XXXX at my expense. Again XXXX XXXX has a reputation for billing without sending material. Just investigate online reviews. Shame on both this companies.

Complaint: I have American express card and was having financial difficulty in XXXX due to the government shut down and my account was put on hardship then in XXXX the account billing cycle came out and I contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX about the account wanting a XXXX payment I had just lost my job and couldn't make that payment spoke to representative by the name of XXXX on chat and he told me to call in. I called and spoke to representative, they advise me account would go back on hardship for 2 billing cycles and not to worry about payment. I went back today XXXX to make payment on another card the account was past due and not taken care of. I contacted customer service they demanded payment I ttied to explain the I called and this was taken care they cant find record of call they say only chat telling me to call, which I did. they wont put the account on hardship and now its almost 30 days past due they are refusing to help in anyway im being punished because someone didn't do there job correctly. I was lied to and tried unfairly like I was just some deadbeat that couldn't pay my bills yes Im in hardship but that's why I contacted them a month ago to take care of it.

Complaint: I left my employer XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and closed my American Express corporate card ( to my knowledge ). In XX/XX/XXXX of this year I receive calls from very aggressive debt collectors telling me that I have a balance on my corporate card. That rather then sending me a letter I should immediately pay by phone. I assume this is a scam and I hang up. Then in the mail I receive a letter asking for {$140.00}. They claim I made a purchase at something called XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. Obviously I didnt. How did this charge go through? Why was I not sent a bill ( I was still an Amex customer. ) Why was I called by an aggressive debt collector. I called them and after being passed to 5 different people its potentially resolved but I have not received in writing that it is or that my card is actually closed ( does the card come with lifetime liability? )

Complaint: RE : AMEX account # XXXX XXXX XXXX I have been an American Express Card holder since XX/XX/XXXX ( nearly 50 yrs. ) and that will now end. American Express has breached their agreement with me, by discriminating against me, deliberately providing me with untruthful statements, and using a scheme which is known and approved by their CEO XXXX XXXX and board-members for the sole purpose to deter customers to contact them who have a complaint or who have been cheated by American Express. Facts : - For 50yrs.I have Never had a payment returned -Never violated anything in our agreement -American Express themselves consider me to have been an EXCELLENT customer One of the primary perks or features for American Express cardholders is the fact American Express credits the available balance immediately after a payment. They are one of the few who do this. XXXX is the other. It is the most courteous consumer benefit which separates American Express with most other banks. -I have always enjoyed this feature, many times if i needed to make a purchase above my current available credit and also take advantage of my rewards points. I could simply make the required payment amount and use the card for the purchase immediately. -On XX/XX/XXXX ; I made a payment for {$1900.00}, not a large amount of money. Immediately as it has always done, my available credit increased to reflect the payment amount. That being {$1900.00} ( credit limit is {$6000.00} ). -I then attempted to pay my ATT bill for {$950.00} and was declined. Soon after my available credit was removed. -Used the American Express Chat feature, spent over an hour hearing the AMEX rep. Lie to me time after time. Finally a supervisor came on and confirmed the information I was provided earlier was untruthful. -I attempted another payment for {$500.00} just to prove my account had been restricted. Again the payment was not credited. -Therefore I contacted my bank to make sure those payments are not honored, American Express I have recordings and copies of my chat conversations which will clearly confirm all my claims

XX/XX/XXXX - American Express announces 30 % Transfer bonus with XXXX XXXX with MR Points XX/XX/XXXX - Attempt to transfer XXXX MR Points to XXXX XXXX with promotion for XXXX total via online. The transfer was unsuccessful - I called, and AMEX could not process transfer because MR account was flagged for abuse and needed to legitimize purchases XX/XX/XXXX - Transferred XXXX points from another credit card company to complete transaction and book flight. The trip will be taken XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - I called to receive a status on investigation and open an inquiry. " Investigation still pending no update but would receive a call in 5-7 business days with more information '' XX/XX/XXXX - Received a call from AMEX. They were unable to provide any ETA on completion of the investigation but could take 6-8 weeks or a " promotional period of 1 year. '' XX/XX/XXXX - Called again investigation is handled by corporate and not MR team. No resolution date was given.

Complaint: I was offered a sign on bonus for a credit card. And after applying for the card ( requiring a credit check ), making the minimum spend requirement, paying the annual, fee, I was denied the sign on bonus due to closing too many accounts. This was after I have been using the card for 3 months. Usually, there is a warning prior to applying for the card that they may you deny your sign on bonus, I was given no such message/warning. After multiple complaints and internal investigations the last 2 weeks and explains to them I closed other accounts for person reasons and trying to fix my bad credit score, i was still denied the points.

Complaint: American Express closed my Blue Cash credit card, which had over {$2500.00} in rewards in the account. The did not allow me to claim my rewards as cash back, as I should have been entitled to do. In effect, Amex stole my cash back rewards. I filed a prior complaint about this - which also included a complaint about other Amex cards as well - Amex replied to my other complaint but completely ignored my complaint about the Blue Cash credit card. They are a bunch of thieves and fraudsters.

Complaint: I applied for a balance transfer of {$4500.00} from American Express credit card to my XXXX credit card on XX/XX/XXXX. I did it over American Express 's balance transfer website. However, after 1 month, even though my American Express card showed it was completed and added that amount of money to my current balance, my XXXX credit card still had not received that transfer. Then I called the customer service of American Express and they found that their online system incorrectly recognized my XXXX credit card as a XXXX credit card ( I don't have any account with XXXX XXXX!!! ). They said it is their fault and they will take care of it by retrieving the money back from XXXX XXXX and canceling this balance transfer. However, I have been waiting for another month now and they still have not been able to get this fixed. I have been calling them every week and they always said there is nothing they can do -- I should wait and call them back in a few more days. Because of their fault, I was paying interest charges from XXXX and also paying the balance transfer processing fee from American Express. Another critical issue brought by this is that I am currently applying for mortgage to buy a property, and a credit card with nearly full balance for nearly two months would not help with my application at all! Please help. I just can not deal with American Express any longer. Every time when I called them, they just tell me that I have to wait without providing any detail regarding if and when this would be resolved. Another month or even longer? Please help. Thanks so much!
