Complaint: Received unsolicited offer for XXXX XXXX gold credit card in mail XX/XX/XXXX. Was promised XXXX bonus miles, so requested card. When it arrived, I had a question about online access, so I called their customer service number on XX/XX/XXXX. Was told during this conversation that I was ineligible for the offer because I'd previously had a similar card several years ago. This restriction was nowhere on the Terms and Conditions of the offer I received. I would never have accepted the offer if I'd known that. This is false advertising. I have canceled the card because the company refused to honor the offer they made and I accepted, but I resent the hit on my credit because of their misleading offer.

Complaint: I applied for an AMEX Starwood Preferred Guest Business Card on XX/XX/XXXX ( credit card number ending in XXXX ). The card had a welcome bonus offer of XXXX SPG points if {$6000.00} was spent on the card within 90 days of account opening and an additional XXXX SPG points if {$10000.00} was spent within 6 months ( for a maximum welcome bonus of XXXX points ). I met the {$6000.00} spend requirement for the first XXXX points inXX/XX/XXXX, but I was never credited the XXXX points I had earned. I contacted AMEX in XX/XX/XXXX inquiring about the points and was advised that I had earned the points and that my account would be credited shortly. I also hit {$10000.00} in spend within the 6 month requirement and I have not been credited for the additional XXXX point bonus either. Actually, none of the XXXX welcome bonus points that I earned by meeting the spend requirements has been credited to my account. I have contacted AMEX repeatedly for more than 5 months and I have been told they still are investigating the matter and as of today they still can not give me an answer. I started saving copies of our online chats afterXX/XX/XXXX which I will attach for your review. I no longer have any confidence that AMEX will ever take care of the problem after more than 5 months trying to resolve it with them directly. Any assistance you can provide will greatly appreciated.

Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam, American Express ( Green Card ) account opened sometime XX/XX/XXXX, A MUST paid in FULL on a monthly basis ( under terms and conditions ). On XX/XX/XXXX, my american express was fraudulently charged in the amount of {$1300.00}. XXXX by XXXX, I called in XXXX to dispute for Billing and Fraud, no luck at all, representative were rude, did not do their job and I get numerous run around. I decided to call AMEX to file a fraud dispute on XX/XX/XXXX. Around XX/XX/XXXX, American Express CLOSED the entire credit card with XXXX balance., including the disputed amount above. American Express failed and mishandled the fraud disputes every month, I made numerous calls with American Express via phone and email and online to re-disputes over and over again, but no to success. These are the breakdown for disputed amount {$1300.00} ( XXXX XXXX ) ; {$490.00}, {$200.00}, {$200.00}, {$200.00}, XXXX Finally, after numerous calls, disputes and claims, around XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX american express partially provided me a credit in the amount of around {$300.00}, then, american express added the remaining disputed amount as a balance on my closed account. Then. Due to unsuccessful disputes made to amex to XXXX, amex keep adding the remaining balance on my closed account every month, I have to ensure that I have to call amex and I wont be charged for the reported balance and not to be reported as default to the credit bureaus. Around XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX I was provided a second credit of around {$660.00} living a balance of {$290.00}. As of today, this balance still showing outstanding and I believed this is inaccurate. On XX/XX/XXXX, called in again to follow up in regards to the ongoing disputes, accrding to the representative the most current disputes still on pending and still being investigate again, American express is not resolving the fraud disputes multiple times, amex is not very helpful but keep hurting my credit record by reporting inaccurate data to the credit bureaus and this is a violated my rights and their terms and conditions under federal trade commissions " Fraud Disputes " section FCRA act. In XX/XX/XXXX American Express reported a " 30 Days past Due '' to the credit bureau and is impacted my credit record and huge impact on my credit score as well. I believed this also inaccurate and mistaken. How can a credit card that was being closed in XX/XX/XXXX with a XXXX balance around XX/XX/XXXX and has a current and ongoing fraud disputes be reported as 30 days past due? I believed this a huge mistakes and error, made by american express. I was never late with them paid the balance every month and all my other loans and credit cards and I have a good credit record standing. In addition, Around XX/XX/XXXX American Express reduced and adjusted my yearly membership fees by {$47.00}. In Summary, this account should have been XXXX and with balance credit of {$47.00} and american took this money for no reasons. Complaint: American express I have a very good relationship with and payment history of over 200k. The charge card I have " American Express Platinum '' is paid in LARGE sums every month. The report of " unpaid '' or Past due '' in XX/XX/XXXX is IN FACTUAL circumstances wrong, and misrepresents truth. This is because the portion of the balance was IN FACT paid. Only because a small portion of Amex left unpaid, and but for the FACT - - it is a " Charge Charge '' not a credit card as is being reported, that amex is reporting the card as " past due '' in the time frame ofXX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Reporting my account is " unpaid '' or in arrears is a MISS REPRESENTATION of my paying capacity, and my credit worthiness. Under the fair credit reporting act it is " unfair '' to not report full circumstances. FACTS being reported XXXX andXX/XX/XXXX are a bad reflection on my credit, I hereby request be expunged. I DO have good credit payment history with AMEX and do pay AMEX. If it was a credit card, as the AMEX report being reported on my credit file suggests, ( but its not a credit card ) then under the circumstances of being a credit card, if the FACT I made payments, and " a portion balance '' payment, I HAVE satisfied the fair credit worthiness associated with paying a credit card and the credit reporting act. Its herby requested that amex expunge the reporting to reflect I paid. There were some hardships at the time. These were reported verbal to AMEX at the time, who did call me too, to discuss. I did Pay Amex under the hardship circumstances, as much as I could " AS AGREED '' with amex at the time. AMEX, STOPPED all my rewards points too for not paying in full. Again this is NOT the practice of a " credit card ''. I am a good customer of, AMEX and AS A GOOD CUSTOMER AMEX, should provide " Customer Service '' and " forgiveness too '' and be compelled to report fairly on my credit that I did make payments. At the time period that I was in fact going through hardships. The fact remains as a truth, I did IN FACT pay " as I agreed, I could and would '' with amex. I paid what I could at the time. We all experience circumstances in our lives like this, however in my case it worked out well. ALL of the hardships I went through and XXXX XXXX, are now resolved and well behind me FULLY resolved. My income today is back to over $ 200k, and I am married to a man earning more than 200k too. My time period of XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX with Amex needs to be changed on the credit report to reflect truth and facts that I did pay at the time. And pay as I agreed with the credit provider on the phone at the time I will. The full balance may not have been paid, but at the time, I did agree to pay what I can and " I DID PAY AS AGREED ''. As referenced already herein, If I was to pay BUT a small fraction of the amount I paid on my AMEX to a credit card, it would have satisfied FACT that I am a good payer. My full AMEX reward points for the VOLUME of money I spent USING amex card should too be credited to my account, as under the circumstances the regular card policy changed because I made arrangements and agreements with Amex on the phone to pay. My account IS in good standing, and I should not have been penalized with loss of points because of medical issues and hardships at the time. Hardships I defeated, and today I am in good standing with money and Amex. I can provide XXXX if necessary to validate my over $ 200k a year income, same employer for over 8 years.

Complaint: I signed up for an American Express Platinum Delta SkyMiles card. The offer on the card was the following " XXXX bonus miles and XXXX Medallion Qualification Miles ( MQMs ) after {$3000.00} or more in qualifying purchases are made on the Card within the first 3 months ( 92 days ) of Card Membership. A {$100.00} statement credit after the first qualifying Delta purchase is made on the Card within the first 3 months ( 92 days ) of Card Membership ''. I completed the spend requirement in the required time period. I never received the {$70000.00} bonus miles, XXXX MQM Miles or the {$100.00} statement credit after purchase. I contacted AMEX ( 4 ) four times with no resolution. I first contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX. I then contacted them again on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, AMEX told me there " is a know issue and there is a delay in posting of the miles on your account ''. They told me I should wait an additional time period. I believe that contacting AMEX ( 4 ) four times and waiting at least 5 months is more than enough time for AMEX to have resolved this issues.

Complaint: I have a card with American express, and they emailed about a XXXX interest pay overtime until XX/XX/XXXXof this year XX/XX/XXXX. We got a limit of {$35000.00} for this pay over time. So i had a bill with one of our suppliers for {$29000.00} that we needed to pay, so we thought to use this promotional offer, But since this is a larger amount of our regular cash flow, we reached out to american express customer service to confirm that this charge is eligible for this 'Pay over time ' promotion, and they gave us the OK, and we charged that amount. Shockingly we saw our statement with a minimum payment due of {$29000.00}, with a due date of XX/XX/XXXX, and a penalty APR of 29.99 % if its not paid. I called spoke to a supervisor name XXXX from XXXX AZ branch, and was promised if i pay {$6000.00} she will move this large charge into Pay over time. We paid the {$6000.00} in full on XX/XX/XXXX and today isXX/XX/XXXX and they still didnt fix this, and i scared of this bill how this will end up on our company. I believe this was all a dirty trick they used to push us into the 29.99 % APR. and they should stop doing this and give us compensation for our painful time that we are so anxious about this.

Complaint: OnXX/XX/XXXX, I went to XXXX XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, CA to withdraw money from my American Express Serve card. I went through the process of entering in my pin number and the amount along with which account to take the funds out of only to have the ATM machine not to dispense any money. I waited a good 3 minutes to see if the machine would dispense any money, before attempting to it again since I had some bills to pay that was due in a day I really did not think nothing of it, so I attempted to try again only this time the ATM machine said withdraw is not allowed. A male was waiting to use the ATM and stated oh that ATM machine is always breaking down and went inside the branch. I was waiting longer than normal for my ATM card to be returned. A female employee came outside and asked me if everything was okay, I stated the machine final gave me my card I did not think much of it, she looked at the ATM machine and went back in, I on the other had went to another XXXX XXXX near where I was at this time it was in a grocery store only for the machine to say that contacted lender. I then looked online only to discovered. The funds was showing as if I made a transaction. I attempted to make a transaction but no funds was dispense. I had to be at work at XXXX XXXX. so I had to head to work on my break on XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted my bank to dispute the charges and on XX/XX/XXXX my bank sent me an email informing me that my dispute was denied. I then contacted XXXX XXXX to inquiry why would my bank American Express serve would say that ATM vendor indicated funds was dispense when they were not. I spoke with a person by the name of XXXX she informed me that a detail investigation was not done and that American express Serve need to request the date stamps, camera, error log. She only mention that a basic one was done and I need to contact my lender to re investigate. I contacted my lender on XX/XX/XXXX. I am late on a few bills because of this situation that I had no control over.

Complaint: Two American Express accounts were opened fraudulently in my name 1 ) XX/XX/XXXX 2 ) XX/XX/XXXX I have contacted American Express numerous times to get the information needed for the police report. Each time I call American Express, I am informed of different information and requirements needed to get the report. 1st calls/conversations : The initial conversations I was told to mail in either a copy of a government-issued ID or a copy of the police report. I did this via USPS with a tracking number. 2nd calls/conversations : When I called back to ask where this was in the process they informed me they had not received the document even though it clearly showed that it was received. The address was verified as correct. Additionally, I was informed that it must be BOTH the police report and copies of my ID and that since my original documents were lost that I could upload the documents to the website at www.americanexpress.com/XXXX. 3rd calls/conversations : I had to call back again as I was not provided a reference number to upload the documents. In which I was informed that I could not upload them and that the must be mailed in. When I asked if my original document was received Ameican Express insisted the documents were never received even though they also verified the tracking number insisting it must have been delivered to someone else with all of my personal identifying information. Additionally, they informed me of a new requirement to submit a notarized affidavit along with all the other requirements. When I requested the instructions be provided in writing to prevent the continued miscommunication American Express has refused. They also have no resolution for the missing documents received verified via tracking. It seems it will be next to impossible to get American Express to assist in providing the fraudulent application information over to the detectives investigating. I have had this situation with one other credit card provider and none of the issues that I am having with American Express. I can not believe how uncooperative they would be in trying to help investigate a fraud case.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 my paycheck was direct deposited into my Amex serve account. I checked my account around XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and my balance was XXXX $ and change. I work nights So when I left my shift at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, and checked my Amex serve balance. There was at that point XXXX $ dollars in my account, all my money was gone. After checking my account, after my direct deposit went threw there was four charges on my account that were fraudulent and not made by me. The charges where actually money transfers from four different names I never heard of before. The first charge took my entire direct deposit amount. The second was a few hundred $ sent back to me. The third was another few hundred sent back to me. The fourth was the remaining balance sent someone. These were all transfers from all different people I never heard of in my life. I immediately called Amex customer service to start a dispute, the next day I got a Email from Amex saying the charges were not fraudulent and there is nothing to do to help me, my account was also locked and shut down due to them saying I violated there policy. I called back today XX/XX/XXXX to try to resolve this issue again. Customer service said there was nothing else they Could do and they could not transfer me to the Fraud department and the only was to reach them is by email or a letter via postal service. I then asked to talk to a supervisor, was out on hold. I waited 2 hours on hold and no one ever picked up. My account is clearly compromised and all my hard earned money was stolen. The only thing I can think of is a email I received claiming to be Amex serve asking me to validate my account. The logo was exactly the same and looked authentic. It even brought me to the Amex serve account website. I verified all my information and my guess is this is how my account got stolen. I sent Amex serve this email and told them about this and they did nothing and said nothing about it. My next step is calling my lawyer to pursue Amex legally in hopes of recovering my hard earned money. Please help me out as this is completely insane and Amex serve is allowing this illegal activity to happen on a account that is said to be completely protected against fraud.
