Complaint: In XXXX, I went on a celebrity cruise and used a next cruise certificate that I had purchased 5 years ago on a XXXX American Express. The advantage of using the next cruise certificate is that Id be receiving a XXXX credit. Unfortunately the credit went to the XXXX amx which hadnt been valid for 3 years. They accepted the XXXX on my behalf so, celebrity was unable to reverse the charge. Apparently on XX/XX/XXXX amx transferred my XXXX credit to my current XXXX visa who has no record of receiving this amount.

Complaint: AMEX will not provide me the truth in lending documents I signed to initiate the loan. I need these for a mortgage I am closing on. They claimed they are available on the online access through the home page of the loan ( in the top right corner select this account ), middle of the page " view loan documents '' and then it should be an option there. It is not. They do not believe me it is not there, and I have offered to give them my log in, and check for themselves. I also requested an email I can forward a screen shot or a video of me going to that location and the documents not being there.
I requested by chat and phone that the truth in lending documents simply be emailed to me. I was first told no, that is against policy. Then, I was told they would check with the manager and get them to me. This was several weeks ago and they still have not got them to me. I have used every single link online. It simply does not work.
I need these sent to me electronically by email ASAP. Or the loan needs to be forgiven.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX has kept a Billing Error Charge on my account for many weeks and another to pay have been deined for misconduct by this company. I real dont think they know what they are doing!!!! on XX/XX/XXXX Provisional Credit Reversal - {$75.00} -- -- -we never had a vaild charge with merchant for {$75.00}. XX/XX/XXXX Transaction ID : XXXX -- -- comparing signatures, requesting documentation to assist in validating the claim, requesting a signed written statement from the cardholder or authorized user, and requesting information about the cardholder 's knowledge of the person who allegedly used the card or of that person 's authority to do so.
Further, I may be required to comply with a court order or subpoena to give testimony. I swear this affidavit is true and understand that making a false sworn statement is subject to federal and/or state statutes and may be punishable by fines and/or imprisonment. The Federal Trade Commission website lays out those rights in detail. For this matter, nobody signs any contract with the Attachment of the false Charges. The Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) is the nations consumer protection agency. The FTC works to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace.
In addition, the Fair Credit Billing Act says that youll never be liable for unauthorized charges made while your card was in your possession. In other words, if the unauthorized charges were made with your credit card account information rather than your credit card, you wont be held liable if you still have physical possession of your credit card. See Per the Federal Reserve Board 's Regulation E, Electronic Fund Transfer Act.Electronic Fund Transfer Act The Electronic Fund Transfer Act is XXXX federal legislation that establishes the liabilities and rights of consumers whose funds are electronically transferred. One thing that isn't clear to me is how someone got access to the card if no one is using it and it wasn't held by an employee. In your situation, I'd want to get to the bottom of this, so it doesn't happen again. The Electronic Fund Transfer Act allows banks and other financial institutions to place their own, voluntary caps on liability for unauthorized credit card charges and use of ATM and debit cards.

Complaint: XXXX has been non-compliant with removing the unverified account AMERICAN EXPRESS XXXX which has been deleted by XXXX and XXXX. XXXX and XXXX have both completed their research and determined that AMERICAN EXPRESS was not established by myself but XXXX keeps verifying this accounts. Also, when I called the company they responded that XXXX did not send them all of the verifying evidence to confirm each account is unverified.

Complaint: My direct deposit was processed and sent to Amex serve on XX/XX/18. I spoke with the CEO of our company whom confirmed with the bank that it was sent over to American Express Serve and they accepted it.
This is the third time this has happened. The second time it happened i waited 7 days for my money and American Express deposited {$50.00} good faith credit in my account without speaking to me and sent me a letter of apology. This time i am afraid as i have rent to pay in less than 48 hours. I am in tears and i cant get through to anyone in customer service i have been trying since yesterday.

Complaint: My husband lost his job around the same time my hours were cut at work a year or two ago. I had 4 credit cards at the time. Due to English being my second language I ask my husband for help with taking care of our credit card debt. He made multiple calls to each credit card companies explaining our situation in detail. We asked for any forgiveness and if there could be any payment plans we could take on until we were back on our feet. With XXXX children we are pretty maxed out when it comes to paying all the bills with just one salary. None of the credit card companies would work with us in any way. Eventually my accounts were sent to collections when we could not meet the monthly minimum. Again tried calling the card holders and was completely shut down saying there was no arrangements that could be made. My husband and I both now have full time jobs and are moving in a great direction. However my credit score still suffers from a tough time in our lives when we had little to no control of what was happening in our careers. I complain simply because I did everything in my power to make things correct with these creditors and avoided bankruptcy at all costs. My credit score should make it aware that i do my best to make sure my bills are paid on time and to the best of my ability
