Complaint: XXXX University failed to communicate with me about a debt that I owed. When I was in school they notified me that I did not have financial aid, when I was in the second week of the school term. Instead of offering more loan services, I had to drop classes or incur more debt. They never sent me an original bill at my address and I had a XXXX balance at this institution. I am being contacted by Williams and Fudge, a debt collector, collecting {$1000.00}. I do n't think this debt is valid. I asked him to validate the debt for me and he could not.

Complaint: I attended XXXX University from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. I transferred in the XX/XX/XXXX and and graduated in XXXX from another University. Upon graduating my Federal XXXX Loan from XXXX entered the repayment period and I made the minimum payments. There came a period of economic hardship where I was looking for work and needed deferment/forbearance till I was able to earn so I could continue making payments. I informed XXXX University of my economic hardship status and inability to repay and need to enroll my Federal XXXX Loan into deferment/forbearance status. XXXX University said that the Federal XXXX Loan was not eligible for deferment/forbearance unless I consolidated my student loans. They denied my request for the 'deferment/forbearance request forms ' and continued negative reporting to the credit agencies. During the same time I went through my records and found emails from XXXX University confirming the adjustments of my Federal XXXX Loans balance to {$0.00}. I then contacted XXXX University and XXXX University 's XXXX and informed them I have emails from them confirming that my XXXX Loan Balance is {$0.00}. I disputed this with XXXX and XXXX asking them to validate the debt of {$1500.00} Federal XXXX Loan. In return they forwarded my Federal XXXX Loan to Williams & Fudge collection agency. Williams & Fudge has been charging obscene interest rates of over 50 % on the last balance of {$1200.00}. The balance is now {$1800.00}, when the interest rate on this Federal XXXX Loan is 5 %.

Complaint: I have a long history of dealing with Williams & Fudge. They have impersonated police officers & lawyers, and threatened me with arrest. As such I have sent them letters - plural - instructing them not to contact me by phone, and filed prior complaints with the FTC regarding these practices. Tonight at XXXX I received a call from their office in XXXX XXXX, South Carolina, phone number XXXX. When I pointed all of these facts out to their representative XXXX XXXX, she responded that they had never communicated with me before, and then hung up when I asked to speak to her supervisor.

Complaint: I had a private student loan for the appx amount of XXXX dollars with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. The loan was sold to Williams & Fudge , Inc when I was not able to come up with a payment plan. XX/XX/XXXX I found employment and made a payment plan with Williams & Fudge to pay {$60.00} every 2 weeks for a total of {$120.00} per month. I paid this amount for the remainder of XX/XX/XXXX all of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and thru XXXX XXXX. I requested an interest statement from Williams and Fudge in XX/XX/XXXX to file my taxes they referred me to XXXX XXXX XXXX, I called them and they said when they sell a loan to a third party collector there are is no longer interest on the loan. I called Williams and Fudge back and asked why after 3 years of payments my balance was not going down they said due to the interest and additional fees. I immediately stopped the semi monthly draft and would like this to be investigated. I will never get the loan paid off and can not afford to pay the {$1000.00} per month that they are telling is required to reduce the balance. I recently received an interest statement from them showing that I paid interest on this school loan. It is all very confusing.
