Problem with product or service terms changing
Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent a letter notifying me that my credit card was included in some kind of security breach or fraud and that they would be changing to a new credit card account. I received this card in the mail a few weeks later. I use Wells Fargo Bill Pay to pay the credit card by the due dates. Since they changed the account I had not changed it on the Bill Pay and it the payments were rejected for two months. I received no phone calls or letters notifying me of the missed payment until it was right before the second payment would be late. They have since reported the missed payment to XXXX credit reporting agency as more than 60 days late. I have tried multiple times in the past year to use XXXX XXXX XXXX 's automatic payment services, but each time it has rejected my checking account from Wells Fargo. It seems to take 4 weeks for each attempt that I submit. I did not receive any additional information as to why it failed to enroll. I should not be punished for the unreasonable responses to my attempts to pay. They could have applied the payment to the new account, noting the previous account and forwarding the payment to the correct account and notifying me. It is not my fault that there was a breach of security. I did not request my account number to change. They could have called the phone numbers on file. They could send texts to my phone. They could have sent letters when they noticed attempts to pay to the wrong account. There are many ways that this could have gone better. I am about to relocate and purchase a new home and this unfairly damages my credit. I am rather upset about the absolute indifference shown over credit reporting when related to failure of merchants and banks to secure credit cards. Stop making it so difficult to pay my debts! I know you make a huge portion of profits out of late payments and other fees! Of course you would n't be fair and reasonable when it would be detrimental to your primary source of income and profits! This is little more than a gross exploitation of the trust we place in you over our livelihood. Somebody else screws up and I have to pay for it?

Complaint: This is in reference to a previous complaint # XXXX. Wells Fargo did not answer this complaint correctly. I made the payment on the XX/XX/XXXX on line. It said payment was due by XX/XX/XXXX. According to them, the billing cycle was not completed even though the payment said " due ''. They said I was late making the payment. I was not. The website said it was due. I made the payment. I called Wells Fargo two days ago and they still have not returned my call. There is a website problem and they have yet to address it.

Complaint: Company is Wells Fargo Bank in Maryland I called on XX/XX/XXXX to see if Wells Fargo could assist me with a problem I am having with a debit payment to a XXXX. The XXXX harmed me and did not provide the service I paid up front in full for with cash. They said they could reverse the payment and run an investigation. PAID - XXXX XXXX XXXX CLAIM- XX/XX/XXXX Money reversed around XX/XX/XXXX Money taken back out of my checking account XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo did not follow the procedures that are in place in handling a claim There was no letter mailed to me There was NO communication of any kind to me about the status of the issue I called about a month later and was told the XXXX has only a total of 45 days to respond and if there is no response the money remains mine. It was close to 45 days so I just let it go and waited. I did not receive any further communication and after 45 days, as I was told, understood the claim to be closed. Suddenly with out any warning, I receive a call about 2 1/2 months later at XXXX telling me the XXXX sent in a response and the claim is open and never was closed. Of course, I was upset. At that time, XX/XX/XXXX, I requested all documents to be mailed to me for review. I was told that it is not allowed until the claim is closed. I informed the rep than how am I suppose to review and see what is going on? The call ended there because I could not get any answers or help. On XX/XX/XXXX I went out to dinner and tried to pay. This is how I found out my checking account was severely over drawn an amount of {$970.00}. Wells Fargo did NOT mail me any letter nor informed me at all about reversing the claim. This has caused me great suffering. I am in financial hardship. I have no money for food, gas, pay my mortgage and bills, nothing. I have been unemployed for 3 years and was surviving till I start my XXXX job XX/XX/XXXXafter 3 years. This is making me very ill and stressed out. I have made a plethora of calls all day for 7 days now and went into branches trying to get help with this matter. NO ONE CARES AND NO ONE HELPS. Wells Fargo continues now to send me over draft notices and threats they are going to charge it off, ruin my credit and report it to XXXX. Incredible. They will not listen to reason nor negotiate this and discuss it. They are bullying me. This is not ethical to do this and impoverish someone such as this. Please help me. I have until XX/XX/XXXX till this is written off and it further destroys me. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MD XXXX XX/XX/XXXX

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX I requested a HAMP modification from Wells Fargo having a XXXX XXXX loan. What I was given was not the HAMP and the modification I was given was something similar but not the HAMP. For 8 years, I have been arguing with WF to correct my modification and they of course refused. Now, in XX/XX/XXXX finally, they agree that I should have been granted the HAMP and they made an error in denying me such. However, since, they refuse to correct and and provided an accurate HAMP modification for me. Today, finally, XX/XX/XXXX I receive a recasted agreement from WF and it is not correct. They have given me a deadline of XX/XX/XXXX - one week- to review this and sign and return it. This is nonsense when they have taken so very long to do it and now they give me one week. The figures are all off and I have NO documents to check and audit it prior to me signing and agreeing to these terms and my balance ( which has been changed several times ) Just on the paperwork mailed to me, I see accounting errors not adding up correctly. They are threatening me " to take action '' whatever that means, if I do not sign and return by XX/XX/XXXX. I want to state again : I am current on my loan and have always been The loan I have now benefits WF more so what is their issue with this deadline The modification they recasted is NOT correct WF refuses to provide me with the requested documents for review and my file contents WF forcing me into signing this agreement as they did back in XX/XX/XXXX. This is bullying, fraud, corruption, It is awful they way I was spoken to when I informed them I need the deadline of XX/XX/XXXX extended. XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: Borrower mortgaged his primary residence in XXXX for {$450000.00}. The loan is presently either owned or managed by Wells Fargo and is in default. The sale date is XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX borrower gave verbal authorization to Wells Fargo to speak with borrowers loan broker. The broker made 5 separate calls to Wells Fargo. The number they provide is a call center than has no authority other than to refer the matter to another department. The loan broker spoke to 5 different parties. Three of them acknowledged the authorization for the loan broker to represent borrower for one day. The last representative could not locate the authorization that 3 other representatives found. Most of them recommended that the loan broker speak with another department. In the first case he was transferred to a disconnect. In the second case he was transferred to unending music. The third transfer was back to the same call center. A fourth transfer was to an outside and apparently unrelated company. The total time spent trying to speak to someone at Wells Fargo was 2, 1/2 hours and was totally unsuccessful. Two of the representatives said that the sale date could be extended but the requirements were impossible to satisfy. A pair of representatives said that a loan modification might be possible but the loan broker was not transferred to the proper party, and it was almost certain that discussion of a loan modification would be futile. Also the rate would be unfair and punitive if it could be accomplished. It is apparent that Wells Fargo is stonewalling borrower, with the intent to go to sale so that borrower loses his home or a sale is postponed and borrower is forced to pay unreasonable rates for the near future. Equally troubling is that Wells Fargo is aware that borrower is a minority and is being treated unfairly, much more than a non-minority. Finally borrower has a new lender who will lend enough money to pay Wells Fargo everything they claim is due. This lenders primary requirement is that the notice of default be lifted. Borrower owes about {$470000.00} and the home is worth approximately {$690000.00} at market value. Borrower is also able to make the monthly payments as due, and would be far better able to make the payments on a new loan at market interest rates. Since borrower is presently making all payments monthly as due, Wells Fargo is not at risk of any loss at all by lifting the notice of default. The notice may also be invalid for legal reasons. This is bad faith on the part of Wells Fargo.

Complaint: I will be suing wells fargo for letting the felon criminal 's XXXX and XXXX XXXX to leak out my private information and how they told their friends to get them to laugh at me. Since wells fargo will not do anything to XXXX XXXX for her using her position as a district manager to do unethical and criminal things against me. I have no choice but to take legal action, since wells fargo choice to make a business decision to get involved on her behalf to close my checking account and telling me not to enter their bank. I will be filing legal action to sue wells fargo for defamation of character, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I have been patient beyond belief to no avail with wells fargo, they have pushed me to do this, they want to keep messing with my emotions. I can sue for someone falsely accusing me to take away something from you, this case my checking account. Wells fargo can not take away my civil rights. I was pressured by banker " XXXX XXXX '' at the wells fargo branch located on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX al XXXX. My insurance company uses wells fargo for their bank, so i had to come in to cash it. This was in XX/2013 and this banker named " XXXX XXXX '' would n't leave me alone to open a new bank account. She also made fun of my sons facial expressions, this is unprofessional for a banker to do. I did not want a checking account with them but she kept pressuring me to open one anyway. And this XXXX banker employee kept running my son back and forth harassing him. And to be treated like this by wells fargo even though I did not want a checking account is a pure insult. All i wanted to do was cash my insurance check and leave.
