Fraudulent loan
Complaint: I have reported identity theft and fraud to wells Fargo and XXXX XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I reported a hard inquiry made by WFDS of XX/XX/XXXX after pulling my credit due to being denied a loan XX/XX/XXXX. Wells Fargo has continued to deny the hard inquiry of XX/XX/XXXX. The last conversation I had ( that was stated it was going to be officially recorded ) with XXXX at Wfds in XX/XX/XXXX he stated it was XXXX fault that I had to deal with them they put it incorrectly on my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX.
XXXX also reported that wells Fargo did not give me credit for making several payments but not deducted from my balance. I am hereby requesting both loan documents loan recorded on XXXX as XXXX opened XX/XX/XXXX AND ALSO LOAN # XXXX opened in XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo owes me the difference fromXX/XX/XXXXthru XX/XX/XXXX. That is XXXX X 7 months And I want it deducted from my loan balance immediately.
Also I went online and was denied access to my account info as per attached screenshots the following happened TWO ACCOUNTS HAVE MY INFO XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I want both these copies of loan documents that created each 1 of these accounts I want wells Fargo to admit to their error and credit my payments fromXX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX from some wells Fargo creating a second account which both denied me proper access to my info and prevented proper credit of all my payments as I reported to the cfpb and wells Fargo XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX as they did not protect my personal information required by law.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: I have another active complaint regarding my payment issues involving my Wells Fargo Credit card - complaint file # XXXX - and I would like to submit an additional complaint regarding issues with the process.
The initial problem started appearing several months ago, when I was making payments via the Wells Fargo website, and using the option to make a payment 'from an external account. ' Every payment I made, regardless of size, started being held for several days, for reasons that were not ever justified. Due to the issues involving holds being placed on payments made in this way, I opted to try making the payment directly from my checking account ( at another institution ), via the online bill pay system.
The payment is set up to be processed electronically, which I have verified with my checking institution means that the payment will clear my checking account when it has been electronically sent to Wells Fargo. I was hoping this would prevent Wells Fargo from holding my payments in the way they have been for several months. However, today, the electronic payment cleared my checking account - and is not showing anywhere, not even in 'pending ' transactions, on my credit card. I have called my checking institution to verify that the payment was sent, and they have confirmed that it is complete.
Unfortunately, what this means is that I still don't have a way to make payments to my Wells Fargo credit card, and have them reflected to the card 's balance in a reasonable timeframe. Wells Fargo now has a cleared payment - something that has already left my checking account elsewhere - and it appears that payment is being held in suspense somewhere and not being applied to my card.
I was, again, not able to find any resolution by contacting Wells Fargo customer service.

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: I contacted Wells Fargo Bank regarding my credit card on XX/XX/2018 and advised them that my debt is uncollectible because the statute of collections has expired. They continue to remove this debt and put it right back on my credit file therefore causing a new collection items on my credit file for the same debt that has been removed over and over again. I never received a response to any of my requests from the company.

Complaint: On XX/XX/19 I received a letter from Wells Fargo stating they were recalling my mortgage loan and we were in foreclosure. Prior to this letter, I have been working with the company on loan modification and paying to make the account current. We have been in communication by phone for 2 months prior to now consistently. Leading up to this letter, my most recent calls being XX/XX/2019, on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. There was never mention of this happening or being a possibility. Until the phone call on XX/XX/XXXX, I was working on loan modification, making payments trying to catch up and work with Wells Fargo to keep my home. The phone call the 13, when I was calling to make a payment, I was told we were in foreclosure and no one could talk to me or take a payment. Upon getting home that day, I did have a letter in the mail stating in foreclosure and i need to move out or pay the remainder of my mortgage {$56000.00}. No other communication of letters or mail ever came to me except my monthly billing statement. NOTHING. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with the person in charge of my loan modification, and he did personally discuss foreclosure and kept bringing up something called a reinstatement amount, and all about a default letter, a cure, etc ... None of this stuff had been sent or told to me. NONE. ALL I have received is that now we are in foreclosure and a sale date is pending to be set. He also spoke about the law firm handling my case, again have received nothing. He reviewed my case in their system and stated and agreed none of this had been sent to me. None of this showed in my history data in their system being discussed or sent with/or to me. He could confirm all the phone calls I have above mentioned and more with no notes of this. I was told by him a court case has already been filed against me. I also have no information about this. Now or prior. He stated " I just should have expected in being behind in my mortgage. '' My mortgage was 120 behind on XX/XX/XXXX by this time I had already began loan modification and working with them to bring current. Truth in Lending Act states dual tracking by a creditor cant happen. I was doing my part. There was no way I could have " expected it being behind in my mortgage. ''

Complaint: To whom it concerns, Wells Fargo received a cash payment on my credit card account on XX/XX/2019. Yet, they still show that I owe a balance of XXXX, after making a payment of {$370.00}. The bank representative, XXXX, advised me that it takes 1 to 3 days for the payment to hard post to the account.
However, in the interim ; I'm still accumulating interest on the erroneous balance of {$710.00}. The representative affirmed this during the call. I contend that this is fraud having been committed by Wells Fargo bank on the consumer.
Additionally, Wells Fargo is also inaccurately report this erroneous balance to the credit bureaus, as they have in the past.
I would like the FTC to investigate this matter,

Complaint: To whom it may concern : I have recently had Wells Fargo deny a claim that I had made for 3 transactions totaling {$870.00}. Wells Fargos claim department made an absolute disaster of the claim. By the time that the claims department was finished it had turned into 2 claims. One was Claim XXXX XXXX and the other was claim XXXX XXXX. When the claim/claims was/were denied somehow, they reported denying 10 items at over {$2000.00}. How inept can the claims department be!!!!!!!
Now I am going to start over and need someone at Wells Fargo to correctly complete the claim this time please. The claim is for 3 transactions totaling {$870.00} plus a {$35.00} insufficient funds fee caused by this happening.
I am going to make every attempt to clarify the happenings and the timeline : XX/XX/2019 - I accidentally misplaced my card ( XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ) sometime after paying for dinner that evening XX/XX/2019 I went to the XXXX, N.C. Wells Fargo branch and cancelled that debit card. I was issued instant card ( XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ) and a new card was to be sent to me in the mail.
XX/XX/2019 Received an email saying that the new card had shipped XX/XX/2019 I reported that the card had still not been received XX/XX/2019 Received an email saying that a second card had shipped XX/XX/2019 I received that new replacement card ( XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ) and activated it at the XXXX, N.C. branch by making a deposit on XX/XX/2019 AT this moment the temporary card ending in XXXX should have been deactivated immediately.
At this time, I threw the instant issue card that I had been using away. It was supposed to have been usable ONLY until the replacement card was received and activated or 30 days. My disposal method was bending it in half and placing it in my kitchen trashcan. I live in a house which is 20 miles from the nearest town. I do have trash pick-up but I seriously doubt that they went through every bag that they picked up that day until they found a temporary debit card bent in half.
I was told over and over again by Wells Fargo that an instant issue card is only good until the permanent replacement card is received and activated or 30 days after it is issued. This means that card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX SHOULD HAVE BEEN DEACTIVATED on XX/XX/2019 when I activated card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was at this time that I put it all behind me and continued with business as usual. I had misplaced a debit card and made it through the hassle of obtaining another permanent card. I had done this before with Wells Fargo without any problems.
I was scheduled to receive my paycheck on the night of XX/XX/2019 and this is when things went wrong causing the claim to be made as follows : XX/XX/2019 during the night three separate transactions took place on my supposedly deactivated and thrown away temporary card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX at a XXXX XXXX in XXXX, N.C. about 100 miles from my residence.
1. Transaction # XXXX for {$300.00} 2. Transaction # XXXX for {$310.00} 3. Transaction # XXXX for {$250.00} XX/XX/2019 When I woke for work at XXXX XXXX I signed on to check that my paycheck had been deposited and found the above erroneous transactions had taken place. I immediately called Wells Fargo and reported the situation and had the card deactivated. While on the phone with Wells Fargo I was told that the person/persons responsible were in the process of attempting to make a fourth transaction while I was in the process of making the report.
XX/XX/2019 I went to the XXXX, N.C. Wells Fargo branch that morning when it opened and reported to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX what had happened. They checked to make certain that a claim had been filed then issued me a new temporary debit card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. They ordered a new permanent card for me at this time. When looking into things XXXX informed me that was not the only person that had bogus transactions reoccurring at the same exact XXXX XXXX location in XXXX, N.C. that night.
XXXX I received the new permanent card but am afraid to activate it since everything that I have gone through with the last debit card replacement ordeal.
Over the 10 days ( XX/XX/2019 to XX/XX/2019 ) I was in contact with the claims department and resolution departments daily. {$870.00} was close to 80 % of my check and with XXXX small children going back to school plus medication for XXXX XXXX I could not go without these funds that I had worked very hard for. Each and every time that I spoke with a Wells Fargo representative the facts about the transactions were incorrect and confused. The more time went by the worse the confusion became. How can Wells Fargo employ such inept people to work in such important departments? Probably so they can make a disaster of every claim that is filed and make them easier to deny.
It does not have to be this difficult for Wells Fargo to admit that when the first new permanent card was activated on XX/XX/2019 that the instant issue temporary card issued and signed for on XX/XX/2019 was not deactivated and caused this entire mess. I have not been to XXXX, N.C. in 20 years and definitely was not there in the middle of the night 3 different times purchasing a total of {$870.00} in groceries! With the same thing happening to multiple people happening at the same store at the same time on the same night all with cards that should have been deactivated I feel that it had to have been an employee of Wells Fargo with access to these card numbers. When XXXX had informed me that I was not the only person affected he told me that one of the others was a lady from XXXX, N.C. which is about 100 miles from XXXX, N.C. in the opposite direction from me.
I need this claim resubmitted and processed correctly this time. Below and attached are screen shots of the 3 transactions from my online registry which clearly show that these transactions took place well after card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX was supposed to have been deactivated. In addition to the original {$870.00} I have incurred an insufficient funds fee of {$35.00} as a direct result of this fiasco. In all Wells Fargo owes me a total of {$900.00}.

Complaint: Wells Fargo XXXX has incorrectly reported me late beginning XX/XX/2019 thru XX/XX/2019, and XX/XX/2019. Wells Fargo has incorrectly reported my credit payment history as past due when I was never reported 30 days late in my statements while I did always pay in the past due window. Payments always overlapped due dates and often I paid 29 days late. I may have been late once but the Wells Fargo Statements DO NOT reflect the actual dates payments process AND Wells Fargo somehow kept my account negative and did not reflect the payment, even though I was 0 to 29 days late only. Payments came out of my personal Wells Fargo checking 'instantly ' yet sometimes Wells Fargo XXXX would take 3-5 days to reflect the payment in my credit account. Wells Fargo also took over 50 days to respond to my dispute from XXXX and did not address anything in my dispute. Wells Fargo has also refused to give me an accounting of my records and has also refused to provide me anything but statements, of which I am contesting because they incorrectly report my payment due dates. I have bank records showing instant payment transfer dates, yet XXXX wouldnt process them in a timely manner.

Complaint: In XXXX of 2015, Wells Fargo illegally repossessed my vehicle. I found myself to be part of their class action CPI lawsuit. In the letter I received, it confirms that I am NO longer liable for this debt because of their unfair insurance that was added to the loan. I have disputed this multiple times with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. XXXX HAS removed it. The other two have not. I want this illegal loan/repossession OFF MY CREDIT REPORT, and I will NEVER ever ever ever ever ... deal with Wells Fargo again!

Complaint: In XX/XX/2019, I went into the local Wells Fargo to close my deceased father 's overdrawn account with a cash payment as they would not accept a check from me ( his executor ). I paid the {$69.00} balance and was informed that I could not close the account even though I presented paperwork and death certificate. I was informed that I was not " on this account '' and " did not have an account with Wells Fargo ''. I was told the account would show a XXXX balance upon my cash payment, and to Return to Sender the next bank statement with DECEASED written on it. I have done this repeatedly. Subsequent bank statements continue to arrive and. I finally opened a statement to find that his account not only was not closed, but has been assessed fees on a 3 Cent balance which should not exist. Wells Fargo has not been of any assistance with this issue, other than wanting more money.

Lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle
Complaint: Wells Fargo Dealer services had my car repossessed on XXXX XX/XX/19 at XXXX. I woke up to a banging on my door at XXXX regarding my car. I was told I needed to hand over my keys by a large man maybe 3x my size. I asked if he could wait and that i needed to cal Wells Fargo and he said no. He said my car popped up on the registry 30 minutes ago and if they didnt pick it up someone else would. At this point, a few of my neighbors were in the hallway because of the noise. I get my keys to go downstairs to see my car on a tow truck. I live in a small building with 8 apartments and a private garage for the residents of the building so they forced themselves in because no one would have let them in. The guy said they made a lot of noise getting my car out. Before I could hand over the keys, the guy took my car key out of my hands. I asked where the car was going and he said just pay the bank what you owe to find out. They refused to give any paperwork or talk to me further. I filed a complained with the office of president affairs the same day ( XX/XX/19 ) regarding this unlawful possession and they still have yet to follow up. They have said that if the repo company says they didnt do it they will take their word. I sent Wells Fargo pictures of my garage which show it isnt open and the repo company said they were let in by someone which is false. I have spoken to Wells Fargo multiple times a day each day to follow up on this case and there is no resolution at this point. I have made the payments to get my car back and still dont have it because they delayed the processing and the repo company would not offer times for me to pick it up today. I now have to wait till Monday and call same day to pick it up

Complaint: Our home was supposed to have been sold. Because of the noise and air pollution happening around the clock, preventing us from getting even a near normal nights sleep. We left our home before the sale was final. ( To stay with family in North Carolina ) We were told there was to be an inspection of plumbing on the inside of the house from the town of XXXX. Then told they had to hire someone to fill one of the basement drains ... ( which by they way was completely dry for the 6.5 years we've been here ) We told them NO because no one was there to represent us. It was done fraudelently, only to let us think it was required in reality it was so we would think when the basement was deliberately flooded we would blame on what was done ... which we did.. That was never the case, it was done as a work order and never did we recieve even a bill from the person until we finally had to come back to the house only to find basement damage, mold and decay. Days after coming back to the house instead of billing from the work order we already had a judgment against the house ( the inspection was done in late XX/XX/XXXX and by XX/XX/XXXX we already had a judgment against our property ) Which is why Wells Fargo only pretended to want to work things out with us, they were waiting for us to get the judgment notice ) On XX/XX/2019 We recieved a notice from a server that we have 20 days to respond.
