Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: Hi, recently I have completed paying my lease with VW Credit. Per my turn in settlement invoice, I have excess mileage that resulted in an invoice of {$12000.00}. VW Credit is asking me to pay this amount in full, however I advised them via email ( see below excerpt ) as to my financial situation and their response was for me to call them to discuss Original Inquiry on XX/XX/2019 XXXX XXXX CST : Good Day, I am in receipt of the turn-In Settlement invoice for {$12000.00} asking for payment in full. Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to pay this amount in 1 lump sum. My original plan was to purchase the car upon lease completion, however, the local VW dealership was unable to get my application approved without a substantial down payment. Unfortunately, because I needed a car, I purchase another vehicle and opted to turn in the XXXX. This has put somewhat of a strain on my finances. At the present time, I can offer to pay {$150.00} per month until the debt is paid in full. In the event my financial circumstances change, I will pay more or pay the debt off much sooner. Please send written correspondence with your reply to my mailing address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX FL XXXX Sincerely ; XXXX XXXX Subsequently, I called VW Credit on XX/XX/19and advised of the same. I was advised that they will only take {$400.00} per month instead of my offer of {$200.00}. I advised the representative that I initially tried buying this car but was unable because the few banks that approved me for financing wanted a very large lump sum down payment which I do not have. The end result is I had to buy another vehicle which puts more of a strain on me financially. Lastly, although the rep told me they don't offer payment plans of {$200.00} per month, I advised them I just recently paid off a prior loan ( similar situation ) however they still refused and threatened to place my account with a 3rd part collection agency. I value my credit and have worked very hard to build it to where it is today.

Problem with the interest rate
Complaint: AUDI FINANCIAL SERVICES IS RIPPING ME OFF AND FRAUDUENTLY CHARGING ME EXCESSIVE FEES FOR MY AUDI. THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW AND PERFORMING ILLEGAL PRACTICES.
I WAS PAYING {$770.00} TO AUDI FINANCIAL SERVICE FOR MY LEASE, THEN I BOUGHT THE SAME CAR AND AUDI INCREASED MY LOAN TO $ XXXX MONTHLY BECAUSE THEY DID NOT WANT ME TO KEEP THE CAR. THEY WANTED ME TO BUY ANOTHER LEASE WHEREAS THAT WOULD LOCK ME IN SO THEY COULD MAKE MORE PROFIT OFF ME. THEY CHARGED ME AN UNFAIR HIGH INTEREST RATE THAT DID NOT FIT WITH MY INCOME. WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL AND THEY SHOULD BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: I had excessive miles at the end of the lease. I was going to buy the lease but my credit union suggested negotiating with the car dealership to see if they would pay off the excess miles in exchange for me buying a new car at the dealership. The credit union siad they offer a better interest rate on new car purchases. I had a previous lease that resulted in VW paying my end of lease settlement and agreed that this may be a good option to pursue.
This is what I thought I did however I received a bill from VW credit for XXXX for excess miles and damage to the car. Several misleading tactics and dishonest acts on the behalf of the dealership led me into a very unfair transaction.
Purchase date of new vehicle XX/XX/XXXX Lease end date of old vehicle XX/XX/XXXX On the day that I purchased my new vehicle I spent over 7 hours in negotiating with the dealership and spoke with several people all men, I am a woman. I had originally shopped online and found a car that was in my price range and arrange financing with my credit union prior to going to the dealership. The first sales person I spoke with agreed that they could pay off any lease costs associated if I considered a new vehicle purchase. The second person I spoke with after test driving a few vehicles and wanting to move forward with a purchase said I was NOT eligible to use my credit union to finance if I wanted to get the price advertised on the website. I finally agreed to the higher financing interest rate because I was negotiating for the dealership to pay off my end of lease over-miles charge. Several hours into being at the dealership I met with the 3rd and 4th salesmen to " approve '' credit and do the paperwork assuming that the original 2 salesmen had explained my negotiation about the lease. I proceeded to sign the sales paperwork around XXXX. The salesmen knew I had to hurry home to get my daughter from the sitter because I expressed several times that the process was taking too long and I was running late. I was expedited trough paperwork and then delivered to my new vehicle. I was never offered or told that I should take my old leased car home and arrange for an inspection, It was never explained to me that I would be responsible for any damage or excess miles to the lease. I was led to believe that I had negotiated a deal for a new car at a higher interest rate in exchange for the dealership paying off my end of lease settlement charges.
I was never offered an inspection of the lease car at the dealership or told I needed to have one done. They had me take my personal belongings from my old lease and already had paper plates on the new car. the new car was ever running when I was delivered to it after the paperwork.
Excess Wear and Tear invoice & Turn-In Settlement invoice was sent XX/XX/XXXX Wear and tear : {$1000.00} ( itemized invoice included dated XX/XX/XXXX ) Excess miles : {$1100.00} Had I been offered an inspection, I would have taken off the older winter tire and put on the newer tires. I would have returned the key and had a chance to remediate any other issues.
XX/XX/XXXX : I reached out to VW credit to explain there must be a mistake I had negotiated with the dealership and they were going to take care of the fees. They reached out to the dealership. The dealership contacted me and said they would look into it.
XX/XX/XXXX : I reached out to VW credit again and same thing, the dealership called but a different person called who said they would have to look into it and that the do not offer deals to pay off lease settlements that this ONLY happens for new leases.
XX/XX/XXXX : I reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX. They contacted the dealer and procured a document stating I was responsible to excess miles and wear and tear but it was wrapped in an agreement for me to add the last 2 lease payment into my new loan. I recall being explained that I was only signing to allow the 2 last payments added to my new loan. XXXX XXXX arranged for the the dealer to contact me, this time another different person. They stated they had no record of any negotiation with me regarding paying my end of lease settlement. She also stated they do not offer end of lease inspections and was not able to explain why they did not offer to tell me I needed an inspection. The dealership did not accept to pay any of the end of lease settlement as negotiated.

Complaint: Hello, My name is XXXX XXXX. I have fallen victim, through no fault of my own, to the XXXX breach, and several other personal information breaches over the past decade. Resulting from this, there was an auto loan, or lease that was opened by an identity thief with Volkswagen Credit, using my credentials, and social security number, and defaulted upon. I have done everything in my power, since learning of the theft, more than a year ago, to get the creditor, Volkswagen Credit, to remove the fraudulently opened account from credit reporting. I have filed a report with the FTC, and also with my local police station, XXXX Police, here in XXXX, Massachusetts. I work at XXXX XXXX XXXX, in the XXXX XXXX sector, and the financial ramifications of this fraudulent credit reporting has destroyed not only my credit, but my ability to attain another job in the financial services sector. Further, I am an XXXX XXXX at XXXX College, pursuing an XXXX degree, and am unable to take out a federal student loan, as a result of this fraudulent reporting.
The only information that shows up on my credit report about the fraudulently opened account is that it ends in XXXX, and the account status is listed as " CHARGE-OFF '', amount {$10000.00}, contact information is listed as, " VW CREDIT XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL XXXX XXXX ''. I have attempted to call that phone number, and it is not a working number.
Please help me, I beg you. I have tried everything. I am happy to provide the police report to yourself and FTC report filed. This has gone far enough, I can not obtain financing to pay my student bill as a result. I can be reached on my mobile phone at ( XXXX ) XXXX, or via e-mail, at XXXX. If I miss your call, please leave a message.
Thank you ever so much for your assistance, and attention to this very important, and pressing matter, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX

Termination fees or other problem when ending the lease early
Complaint: On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX I totaled a vehicle that was leased from XXXX with Volkswagen Credit as the financier and lease servicer.
At the time I was 3 months behind on payments, which I agree I owe. This should make the total amount that I owe roughly {$1000.00}.
After totaling the car I submitted a claim with my insurance company the same day, the company agreed the car was totaled by the following Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, and began to work with XXXX to resolve the lease.
XXXX failed to supply the correct paperwork to XXXX which prolonged the time that it took to complete the insurance claim, which allowed them to bill me for XXXX additional car payments following the date that the car was totaled, the date that XXXX agreed it was totaled and began to work with XXXX to make them whole.
I have an issue with being responsible for an extra {$700.00} of car payments that were the result of a clerical issue by XXXX. This seems like it's a conflict of interest. By purposefully submitting inaccurate information to the insurance company they are able to prolong the liability of payments to receive more money.
