Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, I have been harassed by U.S. Bank or rather the U.S. Bank National Association since XXXX. After the market crash in XXXX, U.S. Bank became the Indenture Trustee of a student loan asset-backed security fund administered by the former XXXX XXXX XXXX. I obtained a prospectus from XXXX XXXX which confirms that U.S. Bank was the Indenture Trustee. Several years later, I was sued by this fund despite the fact that there was no letter of true sale or proof of true sale vis -- vis GAAP protocol. To use more candid wording, they sued me without proof that I even owed them any money. I have a deposition wherein this fraud is admitted. After years of emotional distress due to this unlawful lawsuit, I was forced to get 2 years of XXXX XXXX for XXXX and XXXX XXXX. In order to pay for this XXXX, I had to cash out an IRA that was managed by none other than U.S. Bank, the very organization that was suing me as Indenture Trustee. U.S. Bank delayed my check so long from my liquidated IRA that I had to delay my XXXX, remaining in XXXX all the while. Now, as a caregiver for my XXXX veteran grandfather over on XXXX XXXX, the only bank that is available is none other than U.S. Bank once again. In the last month, my U.S. Bank account has been hacked and I was urged to apply for a secured credit card for which I was promptly rejected. Prior to applying for this credit card, I was urged to do a money order for {$300.00}. I have yet to receive the {$300.00} back despite being rejected for the secured credit card. I am seeking full restitution for all the harm U.S. Bank has caused me over the past decade. Over the past decade, this bank has defrauded me via a lawsuit, delayed receipt of my IRA liquidation check so that I had to remain in XXXX, and now allowed me to get hacked and solicited me on a credit card for which I was ineligible. I plead for you to regulate this bank in order to stop its functionaries from destroying people 's lives as it has destroyed mine.
Thank you for your assistance, XXXX XXXX

Debt is not yours
Complaint: Back in XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection letter stating that I owed money to US Bank, I did not because I had a current account open with US Bank. After the hassle with the Bank correcting the issue I closed my Bank account in XXXX with a XXXX balance. 11 years since this issue was resolved I received a collection letter XX/XX/XXXX stating I owe US Bank Money. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX calls me 3 times a day after speaking with the agent telling him that I do not owe any money and this is the first timing hearing from them. He degraded me saying what kind of person are you that doesn't pay what they owe. I told him to send me a letter with the information of his claims, I did not agree to anything over the phone or in writing, stating I only had one account with the bank and closed it with a XXXX balance.

Complaint: I had an auto loan with US Bank and the vehicle was totaled back XXXX. XXXX XXXX issued a check for {$29000.00} to US Bank on XX/XX/2019, so I thought the loan had been paid off. In late XXXX I receive a statement from USB that my payment was late. I contacted USB and was told they never received the payment. I called XXXX and they cancelled the first check and sent another one. In XXXX I receive a statement showing the loan still outstanding and now I owed 2 month of payments. They also reported me 60 days late with the bureaus. This time I called XXXX first. They contacted USB and was told the 2nd check was never received. I called USB to inquire on why they keep losing the checks. I was told that the check had to go to the loss claim department so I let XXXX know and they issued a 3rd check on XX/XX/2019. They told XXXX that they would reduce the loan to the original payoff and report to the bureaus to correct my payment history to not reflect the late payment. I received a notice from USB on XX/XX/XXXX that they reported me late to the bureaus again. I decided to dispute with the bureaus and just learned that USB claimed the payment history is correct. None of this was my fault and they have hit my credit score by about 100 points and I'm furious about it. US Bank is run by incompetents!

Complaint: I received a US Bank Rewards Visa card with a XXXX balance on XX/XX/XXXX. I made to purchases, one for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and the other on XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX. Shortly after, I lost the card during a move. I called the Cardholder Services, but I was told that they could not help me because I didn't know the number on the card. I later found the card and contacted Cardholder Services on XX/XX/XXXX. I was reissued another card since the previous one had expired. The new card had a balance of XXXX. At the time, I couldn't remember how much money was left on the original card. I made a small purchase with the new card. Unfortunately, I lost the card again. I contacted Cardholder Services on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to XXXX. This is when I learned that I had been charged a XXXX replacement fee on the first card and XXXX inactive monthly fees starting XX/XX/XXXX and proceeding for the next eleven months, ending XX/XX/XXXX and totaling XXXX. I was not made ware of this in the first phone call. XXXX told me that he could not help me with the fees and I needed to contact US Bank. I asked him to reissue the card for the remainder of the balance, but he said that the balance was a little over XXXX and he would have to charge me a XXXX fee, making the card worth nothing. I asked for US Bank 's phone number and was told that they don't have it. I found a number for US Bank. I'm not sure who I spoke with there, but she was not able to help me and referred me back to Cardholder Services. I then spoke with XXXX, employee # XXXX. She put in a request to get the fees credited back to me, but told me that they probably would not do it. I asked to speak with a supervisor. XXXX, employee # XXXX, the supervisor, told me that he could not help me and I needed to speak with US Bank, but he did not have a phone number for them either. I called Visa and spoke to XXXX. I was again informed that Cardholder Services would help me with this and she transferred me to XXXX XXXX to get the issue resolved. XXXX told me there was nothing she could do to help and I needed to contact US Bank.
These are disgusting corporations that have found loop holes in the legal system to make money without offering any services or products.

Complaint: US Bank processed an insurance claim check on XX/XX/2019 with directions on file to payoff the loan the refund the overage from the claim.
Check was cashed and loan was paid off as evidenced by the refund of the tax and insurance escrow account.
US Bank stopped payment on the escrow check and reinstated the loan without comment, direction or reason.
Multiple calls to US Bank over the course of a month produced no result. Some employees were able to see documents. Others claimed no documents existed, including the death certificate for the borrower, the executor documentation for me, and the letter requesting the payoff. Some employees also claimed the insurance check was never cashed when in fact it had cleared the bank for the insurance company.
US Bank claimed to be sending a check for the {$37000.00} in overage from the insurance after full payoff of the loan. Instead they sent a check for {$68000.00} directing that the funds be used to rebuilt the house. When called about this latest error, the US Bank employee said the check had to be deposited and that we would need to produce certified funds to send the US Bank 's money back to US Bank. That was not acceptable because the letter accompanying the check clearly stated that cashing it meant there was an obligation to rebuild the house. After demanding that US Bank figure out how to void their own check issued in error, the employee simply hung up on me.
Because US Bank has held this money in error for more than 30 days, they are also sending default notices. This despite the fact that they are in possession of a full payoff, {$37000.00} additional funds and {$3200.00} in escrow that are required by TILA to be refunded to the borrower within 20 business days of payoff.
Currently, they are again saying they will process this as a payoff but needed to update the payoff since it was only good through XX/XX/XXXX. When I advised they have had the money and request to payoff the loan since XX/XX/XXXX ( with XXXX confirmation of this ), US Bank stated they did not know and could not control what a payoff statement might show. When I said it would clearly show more than a month of additional interest, they said there was nothing they could do about that despite the fact that they now acknowledging they had everything required to process the payoff on XX/XX/XXXX.

Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: I recently applied for a home loan and was denied do to fraudulent activities. I have never applied for US Bank or have I used this credit card. I have recently tried to dispute this directly with the bureaus and asked for an Itemized bill, they verified as accurate. And I strongly disagree. The reason why I asked for this is because I was served in XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX and hired an Attorney XXXX XXXX. We were able to prove I never used their credit card and my signature from the one on the application was different. They also showed me an itemized bill, There were charges to flights to XXXX, AZ and other places. I showed my passport to show proof that this was never me who took these vacations or that I used it. There was no stamp of indication that I have ever flown out of Colorado, it was plain. They came to the conclusion it was not me and dismissed it. I proved that this was not me who took this CC out but my EX- Husband. We showed the divorce papers to show that we had divorced in XX/XX/XXXX and he would be the only person that could have done this since he would have had my personal information. I am willing to do the same thing for US bank. I have never applied nor used their CC. and I filed a police report.
