Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I went into a U.S. Bank branch to open up a U.S. Bank Business Silver Checking account along with a U.S. Bank Platinum Business Money Market Account. There was also a promotional offer where I would receive {$400.00} bonus if I deposited {$5000.00} in new money into the account within 30 days. On XX/XX/2019, I made my first deposit of {$3000.00} and I made another deposit of {$2000.00} on XX/XX/2019. The flyer states that I will receive my bonus within 45 days after deposit verification. From XX/XX/2019 to XX/XX/2019, it has been 76 days. The banker who helped open my account made certain that the promotional code he entered was correct, but I'm unsure why there's such a long delay of my bonus posting. Also, the banker mentioned that there would be three statements worth of fee waivers for the U.S. Bank Platinum Business Money Market Account, but I've been assessed the second and third statement fees on XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019, respectively. I contacted the banker and he said he'd get back to me once he hears back, but I haven't heard from him since.

Complaint: I received a Visa Gift card issued from XXXX XXXX, I didn't pay attention to the fine print, it turned out that if the card is not used within 12 months, it starts to lose {$2.00} per months. I called the # provided on the back of the card, 12 months of charges were re-loaded but I was told they can't go beyond 12 months. I say this is a rip off and no one should use there types of gift cards because people tend to forget what they have and most don't check the fine print.

Complaint: Dear XXXX, I am writing in regard to a Home Equity Line of Credit with US Bank that was given to me, but I never had the need to use. Just to give some background. - I had first mortgage with US Bank. {$200000.00} ( A/C # XXXX ) - A Home Equity Line of Credit ( HELOC ) with US Bank as well. {$48000.00} ( A/C # XXXX ) I did have the HELOC ( which I am seeing was taken to be a second mortgage ), but never used the amount for any purpose whatsoever. At the house closing, I was charged a pre-payment penalty for both the first mortgage which was pre-paid before the 5 years was up - I can understand that since the XXXX amount was active and used and was cleared before the five-years since we sold our home and the loan cleared. However, what I dont understand was the pre-payment penalty for the HELOC that wasnt used for anything. In trying to sort things out with US Bank I was told that the fees would be waived, if I did take another loan with the Bank. I did speak with the branch manager ( XXXX XXXX ) at the XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX at the XXXX XXXX was the Banker who helped open the loan. I am hoping your office can help to sort the HELOC pre-payment penalty out for me. I honestly feel that I should not be charged a pre-payment for a loan that wasnt used. Any help will be appreciated- thank you! Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I have always paid my account on time every month thru the website that the company provided and i always received notice that they received the payment. However, twice they notified me 30 days later that they never received the payment. I quickly paid it as soon as I was notified and I tried disputing it with the company because I had paid it and it was their websites problem and not my mistake but they refused to remove it even though they acknowledged that it may have happened since they have intermittent problems with their website. I no longer use their website because of this issue. Please help as this is affecting my ability to get the best rates on a home loan and this was not my mistake.

Complaint: I have a checking account and a savings account with US Bank N.A.. I do not have -- and never have had -- any credit accounts with US Bank and do not now owe them money or have ever owed them money. Nonetheless, illegally and without the permissible purpose as required by federal law, US Bank continues to access my XXXX credit reports placing an " Account Review '' inquiry. The latest account review inquiry was placed by US Bank on XX/XX/2019. They have also done this two times previously. Again, US Bank has absolutely no permissible purpose whatsoever and XXXX also negligently gives US Bank completely unauthorized access to my credit reports. I have phoned US Bank on several occasions and spoken with representatives in several departments including the Recovery Department and also the Credit Bureau Department and nobody can find any information on these events. They suggest I speak with XXXX. Today I spoke with XXXX. They said there is nothing they can or will do. The problem, they claim, can only be solved by US Bank. Since account review inquiries are what are known as " soft '' inquiries and are not visible to others, I don't care about having it removed or not. I want to know ( 1 ) precisely who has accessed my credit reports, ( 2 ) why they accessed my credit reports and ( 3 ) why XXXX was negligent in allowing this to happen. If no satisfactory results are given, I may use the courts to seek statutory damages per the FCRA.

Was not notified of late status. Dates associated with item being disputed : XX/XX/XXXX Explanation of item being disputed : Charge was not authorized by me. Subscription to XXXX XXXX was cancelled and XXXX was sold. Account had to have been accessed and card was still on file. I was not contacted regarding the charge or any of the late fees. When I locked my card/filed the fraud I instantly got notification but not when the account was delinquent. Intentionally did not attempt to contact me to run the charge from $ XXXX- {$170.00}. The only way that I found out about this charge was when It hit my credit report and now they are refusing to remove the information from my report. I have had nothing but issues with this institution since XXXX. I put my paycheck into Us Banks ATM and THEIR piece of hardware malfunctioned and gave me a receipt stating my transaction could not be processed. I went into the branch and they did nothing for me, not even a provisional credit to my account so I could pay the rent that was due the following day. I had record of depositing this amount if not more every time I got paid and had the stub of the check. If I had not had friends who had money at the time, I would have been kicked out of my house to the street and US Bank did not care. After this I asked them to cancel my checking account because it pissed me off so bad. I was told I had to wait until the process was complete and my account was never cancelled like I had requested. I do not have any issues with my other financial institutions and am contacted if anything is late. My payment history is not questionable. So now this comes up in the middle of me applying for jobs that run credit checks, and here we go again with this institution. I called and even spoke to a supervisor and once again this institution does not care about the fact they are going to cost me more than the money value on the account even when I let them know I would pay for the fraudulent charges and just want the report to be fixed. Unfortunate and unsatisfactory that I have had to deal with issues multiple times when the simple solution would be to remedy the problem immediately. You can report that it was incorrect just like you reported it to the creditors, so please stop lying to me when I contact you. I left this account open because it was my oldest line of credit and now, I am kicking myself for ever doing business with US Bank. I apologize if this comes off rude and is not a personal attack to whomever is reading this. I just want it to be made right.

Complaint: I by mistakenly paid my US Bank credit card bill twice of amount {$620.00} each on XX/XX/2019 from my US Bank Check-in account. SO I called the bank on XX/XX/2019 and asked them to reverse one of the transaction. And the bank representative said it will be reversed in 7-8days. Then on XX/XX/2019 as I saw no progress was made so i called US Bank again on the same date and then the credit card department told me the amount will be reversed to my account in 24 hours. After that I could see the amount of {$620.00} is being reversed from the credit card but it didn't reach my US Bank Check-in account. So today XX/XX/2019 I called US Bank again to know why the amount of {$620.00} is not in my account yet, and now they are saying it can take up to 10 days from the day which credit card department reversed the amount, which was on XX/XX/2019. This means I will get my money on XX/XX/2019. And they are also claiming I never called US Bank on XX/XX/2019. Where as I have proof of call list stating I called them on XX/XX/2019 and talked to them for 23mins to get my money reversed. Its a harassment for me and claiming me to be a liar and not willing to help in reversing my money. I have attached the proof of my call history with US Bank. So after I raised my request for reversal on XX/XX/2019, I will get my money back on XX/XX/2019.

Complaint: Dear CFPB, I have a Fidelity Credit Card ( Issued by Elan Financial Services ) that I haven't used in months and has had {$0.00} balance as a result of any purchases. However, over the past few months, they have been mailing me a {$50.00} check and then charging me fees ( up to {$32.00} ) monthly. I have tried to cancel the credit card multiple times and spoken to multiple people at the card services and private investing department. They have told me they will have someone call me about the issue and I have not received a call back. They have tried to reverse all the fees, but then assess more fees again. The issue keeps persisting despite them telling me it's all resolved. At this point, it seems like my credit score has been materially and adversely affected by their actions. The most recent conversation with them was today ( XX/XX/19 ) where I spoke to card services. They looked into the issue and found there was a complete breakdown between the card services department, Elan Financial Services and investing department. That being said, the impact to my credit, the numerous calls I've made and their lack of responsiveness has been an unfair and egregious violation of consumer trust. The unethical behavior has resulted in not just frustration, but clear impact to my credit. I have been patient over the past few months and am formally complaining because of the issue persisting for so many months. It also could be a systemic issue, which is unfair for anyone that has the card. I've been diligently calling them, but others may not. Thank you, XXXX
