Complaint: I noticed a debt listed as a hospital bill for {$360.00} on my credit report. I contacted the company listed as owning the debt, to dispute it, as I knew the debt did not belong to me. The company listed as debt owner was Mitchell D. Bluhm & Associates - XXXX XXXX . The date of the account being opened was XXXX / XXXX / 2016. I kno w for a fact, that I did not receive the services being billed. Mitchell D. Bluhm informed me that if I made a full payment, the debt would be cl osed and deleted from my report. Due to me not owing the debt to begin with I refused to make a payment. Mitchell D. Bluhm & Associates is violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act, by continuing to report a debt on my report, after being informed that the alleged debt is in dispute, I feel that the company is attempting to extort, money from me that I do not owe.

Complaint: This complaint is against the co mpany " MBA Law Offices / XXXX ''. Currently, they are reporting that I owe them a total of {$1300.00} on my credit. I have never had any dealings or communication with this company so there is no reason for them to be reporting an unpaid debt on my credit report. I 've done some research online and I have only come across negative reviews and complaints by other consumers who have been harassed and scammed by this company. I will not give my money to a company I do not recognize and who will not tell me why they want me to pay them. Complaint: The debt was paid directly to the hospital around the time the collection agency reported it. I have contacted them several times and sent several faxes with the receipt showing it was paid online. They then sent me over to another company who has refused to return my phone calls. One of their agents hung up on me and told me the other company is not handling the case that they are. Whenever I call either company they say it is up for review review means that they 're checking to see if the documentation was received. The documentation was facts almost two months ago and I have confirmations from the sent fax. Whenever I contact them they give me several phone numbers but no one has contacted me back. I 've also fax to several different numbers that they gave me for their company and also the other company that it 's supposedly handling the account.
