Complaint: My bank account is overdrawn currently my checking and savings accounts. It has been overdrawn since last Friday XX/XX/2018, I signed up for over draft protection only to find out that the bank has two separate overdrawn protection features I found this out today on XX/XX/2018, the first one is the debit card and the other one is the account.i have never herd of this and when I went into the bank that was never explained to me at all, so I get hit with XXXX dollar fees all the time then to find, then I was told that even if I have over draft protection that if anything hits my account and the account is empty then I will still get hit with XXXX dollar fees. This bank doesn't work with it's customers especially those whom are poor and are on a budget, I can not close the account until I pay off what I owe them.they make a lot of money off of me since I have opened an account with them and I have been dissatisfied with them since becoming a member. I have bank with other Banks before and they offered some type of help and other ways to keep me financially sound but this Bank offers no leniency Little to no education as the how they run things and something needs to be done about this because every time I turn around there is a fee for everything doesn't my money matter? I may not have a lot of it but I have enough to keep me afloat, and if this bank is legally able to operate this way I need to see everything in writing that was they have not provided me with that all.

Complaint: Complaint for XXXX/TD Bank ( via XXXX XXXX ) - I purchased a mattress with a payment plan. I did not receive notice that the payment account was set-up and due until the first due date had already passed. I went online and paid the monthly payment of {$60.00} and attempted to set-up a re-occuring monthly payment in XXXX. I did not pay the late fee assessed because it was unwarranted. In XXXX I again had to go online and set-up the monthly re-occuring payment because it hadn't worked the first time and they were assessing me more late fees. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I called them and learned that the monthly payment would not go into effect until XXXX, so I had missed the XXXX payment and they are assessing me yet another late fee. Their online system is XXXX and very difficult to use. I saw confirmation of the monthly payment set-up when I did it, but now there is no trace of it on my online account, not under transactions, or payment, or pending activity, or anything. According to customer service, I just have to trust that it is set-up now. I do not understand their system. I think it is purposely intended to allow them to assess unwarranted late fees. I tried speaking to two different representatives on the phone and the best they could do was to remove 1 of the late fees, and ONLY if I pay the rest of the payment in FULL first. What kind of fraudulent practice is that?

Complaint: I am a TD Bank customer from last 2 year and holding cash back credit card with TD. I have paid all my credit card bills fairly on time without a single fail, making good salary deposit every month and maintaining a good checkin account balance with TD. In last few months I applied for few credit card and all got rejected. While checking with TD bank, they mentioned my credit card number for Bank account and Credit card account was linked with wrong SSN and they corrected it immediately few weeks back. While checking for my credit report through XXXX XXXX or XXXX it doesnt show my credit report. I am quiet frustrated with TD at first place how come a financial bank make mistake in putting wrong SSN number and is bank not liable to make SSN verification for any new bank or credit card account. It is screwy my credit history and not able to get any new credit card or get loan.

Complaint: In my home equity line of credit # XXXX there was a balance advance of {$5000.00} done on XXXX which I did not do. I called on XXXX! And nothing was done, I called on XXXX and told to go to a branch to fill out a fraud affidavit, which I did. Per affidavit it would take 3-4 days. I called on XXXX and nothing has been done. They were going to send an email to the loan department that can take several weeks. I requested for the line to be frozen, I have not be given any information on the new number, did the reversed the transaction while they investigated. I feel very upset, I have not been treated fairly in this process. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I deposited two checks into my checking account at TD Bank. They were payroll checks. Usually my payroll checks the next day are cleared onto my account. This time on my account was showing the deposit but the entire funds were on hold. I figured that because of the amount of the checks they needed to make sure the funds were available before funding my checking. So I waited until Monday XX/XX/XXXX and still the funds were not there. I checked with my boss to see if saw the transaction on his account and the money were taking our of his business account. So on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX I go to the branch on XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX and the bank explained to me that they hold the money because of the amount and that on thursday XX/XX/XXXX my money would be realized ... .so they kept my money they left me with out money for more than a week. Now it is Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and i still don't have my money onto my account. Shame on them ... ..they left me with out salary for a stupid explaination when they cashed the checks but the funds were not available. This is abusing their power. i have to go away in two days and don't have the money to buy the last things that I need for my trip. I WANT MY MONEY BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY!!!!!. TD BANK IS THE WORST BANK EVER!!!!

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 a little after XXXX on a Sunday I went to Td bank located on XXXX and XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY to deposit money into my checkings account. I used the very first machine closest to the entrance. At first, I deposited {$12.00} into my checkings account which went through. After, that I then deposited {$200.00} into the machine. I noticed that when the machine took my money it started to make a weird sound that I had never heard before but I didn't think much of that but a couple seconds later the screen didn't show my balance which it usually does after I put money into my account so I started to worry. The machine then read " please call a td bank representative '' and immediately the main screen returned. I did not receive a receipt or my debt card back so I panicked and immediately called a td bank representative. I made sure that I stayed in the bank while I was on the phone with her because I didn't want someone else to use the machine and for my money to still be in the machine when it opened. A gentleman came in and I asked him if he could use the first machine so I could make sure that my money wasn't still there lingering around and it wasn't there. While on the phone the lady told me to stay calm and she asked me to explain everything that happened which I did. She told me that I could either file a dispute over the phone with her or I could wait until the next day and file a dispute with a td bank agent in person at the same branch. I told her that i would prefer to file the dispute in person because i wanted to get my debit card since the machine ate it and i also wanted to show them which machine ate my money and card. The next day which was a Monday i went back to Td bank on XXXX and XXXX around XXXX a clock. While there I spoke with a young lady named XXXX and I explained everything that happened the day before to her. She asked what machine I used and how much money was put into the machine and when I told her she explained to me that since the amount of money was larger than {$100.00} I would not be able to get my money and I would have to wait 10 business days for a different department to do an investigation and check the cameras. I was upset because to me that was unfair to have to wait so long for my money but I waited 10 business days. On the tenth business day I checked my account to see if my money was returned to my account and to my surprise there was only {$1.00} added to my account which said " final atm debited '' next to the amount of money. I immediately called a td bank representative which was around XXXX XXXX on a Friday night XX/XX/2018. I asked the representative why I was only debited {$1.00} because the machine stole {$200.00} from me and she said that she didn't know so I asked to speak with a supervisor instead. I asked the supervisor why I wasn't debited back my money and she said to me " actually ms you were debited your money, according to the cameras you only put {$1.00} in the machine. '' I explained to her that that is not true however, she kept repeating the same thing to me. She then went on and told me that the same thing has happened to her before and that even more money was taken from her which I found to be unprofessional and not sympathetic of her at especially as a supervisor. I asked her if they really checked all the cameras thoroughly then how it is that I wasn't given all of my money no where near half of it. She asked me if I wanted to put another dispute in and I said yes. So now i have to wait another 10 business days which is very very frustrating and unprofessional on Td banks part. I even called the td bank branch where my money was stolen by the machine the next day to explain to them what happened when I spoke on the phone with the supervisor at the call canter and the gentleman told me that honestly there was nothing he could do to help me and further. So I was advised to call the comptroller of currency to resolve this situation however, when I called them they told me that they also couldn't help me and told me to write a letter to the complaint consumer financial protection bureau which I am doing now. I really hope that someone can help me because this situation is very unfair and I don't feel like Td bank is really doing their job and checking the cameras or the atm machine like they claim they did. After this situation is resolved I will no longer be a Td bank member and I have been with them for about XXXX years.

Received a letter that was not dated. stated it would be refiled if not disputed in 30 days. Went to the XXXX County courthouse and they claimed I had to hire an attorney to file a response to the judgement and would not allow me to represent MYSELF. The judgement has already previously been removed from my credit per the statue of limitations and the FCA

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I went to TD Bank to withdraw some money from the ATM. In this TD bank there was an intake vent in between both of the ATM 's which conveniently had 3 very large unprotected holes that were constantly sucking up air. I took out my money from the ATM and by accident dropped money as i was trying to put it in my wallet. The money fell and immediately was sucked up by the vent. Now the vent had a door above it so i went to the teller and told them about the situation. The teller then introduced me to the assistant manager, which sat me down and said " look we know about this issue and have had incidents like this before but the vent leads down to the sewer system so its out of my control and I cant do anything for you ''. I proceded to tell him about the door and he said that they could not open it. I asked why there is No mesh or protective barier put on the vent to stop this from happening and he just repeated that there was nothing they could do and its out of their hands. They actively kbow about this serious issue yet are negligent and people like me are loosing money because they dont want to do anything.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 a charge of {$63.00} was made for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I do not own an XXXX. I attempted to contact XXXX XXXX customer service today XX/XX/18 and was told by the automatic answering machine that the number was no longer in service. I tried several other means of contact via XXXX, corporate and my local store. It was hours later before I found out myself that the number was working again. I then waited 20 minutes to speak to someone, be transferred to the fraud dept. and be told there's nothing they could do. Apparently, I need to contact the merchant and XXXX refused to do anything at all about it. I was under the impression that XXXX alone had a policy regarding me not being responsible for fraud charges under certain circumstances ( which I qualify for ). I told her I couldn't find a real contact number for XXXX so she gave me one she was certain would work. It didn't. It connected me to someplace advertising addiction and upon recalling it and double checking the number, it told me the number didn't work in my area. So I am at the mercy of a company that is impossible to get a hold of and my credit card company who is difficult to contact. No one has hours a day to dispute a single transaction. I feel that XXXX isn't holding up their end of the XXXX guarantee, assuming they have to, and is also intentionally being uncooperative. I want the charge removed.
