Complaint: Back around XXXX, we almost went into a foreclosure and after begging and dealing with a different person every time we tried, we finally made progress. We did this for about three years. Finally in XXXX they agreed to stop foreclosure and redo our mortgage agreement which was like a XXXX page document ( attached ) ... .Let me give a brief synopsis as to why we are looking to the Federal Consumer Bureau to start an investigation : Shortly after we made the initial XXXX trial mortgage installments of XXXX ( totals XXXX ) Then our back taxes were XXXX, XXXX XXXX from TD, send us another page saying our escrow/taxes was now XXXX. ( she mistakenly added our XXXX to the back taxes which gives you this XXXX XXXX ( attached ). This is wrong, our XXXX payment was to be paid on mortgage per agreement. This lady added it to our back taxes. I also made a payment bringing down the back taxes to around XXXX which was to spread out over 36 months. TD is XXXX who set the tone of how many months ( XXXX ) NOT ME. the back taxes and the amount XXXX for 36 months which comes to : XXXX x 36 months = XXXX ( 3 years of back taxes ) My XXXX was misappropriated, applied wrongly. I discussed this with a loan guy at TD who saw it as well. The only guy who agreed to what I was explaining. But not in authority to do anything, this is ludicrous. No one will speak to us at the bank. I have been fighting them since and trying to reach out, they just keep transferring you to another department!!! so frustrating. Even the bank attorney XXXX XXXX, XXXX was suppose to have a conference call last week with us and our lawyer XXXX XXXX, but he never called in. Unprofessional - cause I believe they know they are wrong and can not come up where they misappropriated my XXXX which is floating around somewhere. Then we started to notice the bills we are receiving for quite sometime saying my taxes were XXXX a month. My taxes have been monthly XXXX to give or take 850 month in the past few years. I called XXXX and they verified. I even made a payment during the year of XXXX cause the XXXX said TD did n't make payment. Do n't think I was ever credited for that. Not my biggest concern right now. Since around XXXX of XXXX, the TD billing shows XXXX a month for taxes - they claim I did n't pay enough escrow. Again this is wrong, my taxes are around XXXX a year not XXXX ... XXXX a month is XXXX year for taxes, this is wrong. The incompetency of their billing dept and/or loss mitigation is way off and needs to be investigated. Now they say we owe attorney 's fees from back when we were in foreclosure, it was never disclosed on the new agreement signed. These attorney fees that they mention were not on the new mortgage agreements that were signed by me in XXXX, it was never disclosed that I had to pay any fees. If it was the case, it should have been detailed in the new agreement added onto the new payment. Who is to say, I would have agreed to any extra monies/fees ... I may have said keep the house. We 're getting a different bill every few days with different amounts ( attached ). Now I 'm receiving bills charging me an extra XXXX a month ( saying its for taxes and/or insurance. ). There are too many discrepancies to discuss via complaint. Even my attorney does n't understand their logic. I firmly believe that I am right numbers do n't lie.

Complaint: TD Banknorth holds my Home Equity Line of Credit account number XXXX. One month ago the sent a billing to me with a payment that is 4 times what the typical payment has been. This is a adjustable rate loan with an APR of 2.74 according to their online statements and paper statements. I have sent XXXX secured messages to them on the website asking for documentation as to how the payment increased 4 times. I have recently received a letter threatening foreclosure and they are charging me late fees and reporting my loan as delinquent. I have paid as agreed and have the documentation of such. I called today to speak with their collection department and the individual gave me a multitude of wrong answers. There are no changes in my statements that would reflect anything other than the terms I have had for 10 years. If they have made changes to my Home Equity loan terms there have been no compliance documents sent at all. They are not able to provide me with any reasons why the payment has changed 4 times. They are reporting me as delinquent and sending me letters regarding foreclosure and saving my home as I am current and have been at all times.

Complaint: Hello, This complaint is with Target Card Services [ Red Card Credit Card ]. I have contacted Target Card Services over the course of [ 5 ] consecutive years for the purpose of requesting a lower Apr, which at present still remains 17.6 %. Each year the response has been 'NO, we do not lower our rate for any person or reason '. When I explained to the Credit Service agent that I had contacted a Credit Management company in early 2015 about such possible service I was informed that an Apr of 7 % would be set for my Target Credit Card, the agent responded with 'then I would suggest that you use that company '. A Credit Management company can get 7 % but I, having a very good payment history and always paying much more than minimum amounts, can not ... I do not understand the indifference and total lack of cooperation. With a Apr of 7 %, as an example, I would be able to the current balance of {$3500.00} paid off within approximately 2 years. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Complaint: In XXXX 2015, I used my bank card to pay for a hotel reservation and immediately requested a refund, because the provider could not accomodate with a closer location to a workshop I was attending. I asked the hotel to give me a refund and was told they could not refund me because the transaction was done through a third party. I then contacted my bank to do a chargeback. I filed XXXX claims with my bank and received a letter recently that they closed my account because of overdraft fees and would not refund my money from the transaction. The account is now in collection and my claims are closed even though I submitted the letter from the third party acknowledging the transaction. No one will give me my money back.

Complaint: Recently, I filed a Reg E claim with my institution.There were several attempts to utilize my card at internet sites and on from XXXX XXXX has posted to my account, the others were rejected. Since filing this claim I have followed all steps directed from TD Bank. I have filed a police report with my local police department ( City of XXXX Police Department case # XXXX ), only to be told that I must file a police report with another police department where items were sent utilizing my card information. The branch has told me there is no way for them to contact the fraud department to share information I have received about the fraudulent purchase. The items were sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX. I am inclined to believe this fraud happened after my card information was compromised at a dealership after a legit transaction. I recently placed a hold on a vehicle at XXXX of XXXX which is only 20 min from the delivery address of the fraudulently purchased items. Additionally, the customer service department now tells me that it is my responsibility to seek a refund from XXXX XXXX and that I may have to wait for the bank to file a claim with XXXX. I have not even been given provisional credit and it seems that the bank is somehow not processing this Reg E claim as I suspected. I did not make these purchases, I have provided all pertinent information that has been requested and I feel like I am being given incorrect or additional steps that I am not sure is required of me. I really want the Bank to fully investigate and catch these thieves but I also would like for them to provide provisional credit during their investigation. I am willing to help the best way I can but it seems that some of the request are a little convoluted and actually are in sense beyond my control.

Complaint: I am disputing a {$19.00} late charge from fred Myers jewelers platinum preferred Master Card # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. My payments are due the XXXX day of every month. In order not to be late with my payments I have arranged with XXXX bank to withdraw my monthly payments from my account in a timely manner so that the credit card company will receive payment on or before the due date. Apparently in XXXX the payment came late. I have disputed this with XXXX bank as well and after looking into this case, XXXX bank has assured me that they send the payment to the creditor in plenty of time for them to receive the payment and will not take responsibility for the late charge. I have called and spoken to customer service several times and they refuse to refund the {$19.00} saying its the banks fault, the bank says its the creditors fault. I am very frustrated since I always pay my bills on time and do everything possible to avoid late charges or missed payments and feel that I have been wrongly penalized.

Complaint: TDBank was involve in a lawsuit due to fraud overdrawn charges to a massive of clients in their bank accounts. If I am not mistaken this lawsuit took place between the years XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. My account was part of this lawsuit. Due to a loss TD Bank sent refund checks to their clients. Unfortunately, I misplaced my check and found it a week after deadline to cash it. After this issue I find out this amount was in a consumer report collection and I was unable to open an account at a Federal Credit Union. I disputed this situation with TD bank, main office, and with XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX , XXXX. I presented copy of the check and other documents I was able to find along with my statement but it was failure. I was unable to clear this collection. After 2 or 3 years I received in XXXX 2015 a settlement letter from XXXX XXXX , XXXX. I feel exhausted disputing for this amount, TDbank have a horrible customer service when it comes to dispute these type of situations or they can not accept the truth. My huge interest is to clear all my collection accounts, which for different reasons whether was a default of my end or inevitable situation to handle. I am in a status to work my credit to a great credit.

Complaint: I have a XXXX credit card issued by TD Bank with a credit line of XXXX dollars and a current balance of about XXXX. I never have a late payment on this card or in any account. My credit score is XXXX mostly because is not not old, only 7 years. I just received a notification for TD Bank informing that because they are ending the credit card relationship with XXXX, my account will be close. How much that will be impacting my credit score specially now that I 'm about to apply for a mortgage. I have been fulfilled my obligation but apparently that means nothing for them.

Complaint: On the year XXXX, I had an overdraft account of {$520.00} with XXXX Bank Acct # XXXX now its named TD Bank. In XXXX I attempted to open a checking account and was unable being that I was added XXXX. I am aware that I have to pay my debts but I read that being that this debt is more than 15 XXXX old TD Bank should not have reported me to XXXX. I am in the process of filling Bankruptcy and not sure if this presently should apply. I am sending this complaint for you to be aware that TD Bank has made it quite difficult/impossible for me to open a checking account which presently I do not have, And possibly have done this to others. I have attached the original Collection Agency notice of my overdraft at XXXX Bank in XXXX. Thank you! .
