Complaint: I have a XXXX ( " XXXX '' ) XXXX issued by TD Bank, which has been open and on auto-pay with no issues since XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX of this year, my automatic payment went through as scheduled but was returned from my bank due to a checking account error. As soon as I saw the returned payment on the XXXX XXXX online management page, I sent an additional payment to ensure that I would meet my minimum. XXXX charged me a {$27.00} fee plus interest for the auto-payment. I called XXXX support and asked for a courtesy refund of this fee. The representative initially agreed, and then after putting me on hold, said that she was only able to assist with late fees and since I had already made another payment she would not be refunding the {$27.00} fee. I transferred to a supervisor with the same request, who said this was not refundable because it was a returned payment and that I would need to speak to my bank to get it waived. I called my bank and spoke with a representative who said that they are not able to help and have no control over the fees on the XXXX, Now I 've been bounced around by the support from XXXX and I still have the additional fees and interest!

Complaint: XXXX client, XXXX XXXX is a victim of identity theft. He was notified by TD bank of a fraudulent application submitted with his information without his consent. That application resulted in an inquiry into his XXXX credit report XX/XX/XXXX that he did not authorize. A formal dispute of this was mailed to TD bank XX/XX/XXXX however as of this date TD bank has failed to report the status of the dispute/investigation results to either this office or our client.

Complaint: I received a bill from XXXX XXXX- a credit card I never opened. The bill was for {$3100.00}. I called to complain that this was not me and I did not order this merchandise. It appeared to be an on line order. I reported this as fraud and TD Bank sent me a claim form asking for ALL of my personal info. Of course I did not send this to them. I called and said I would not send them my info and to cancel this account as fraud. XXXX XXXX the fraud and risk specialist said they did n't need it and just send in a signed paper that this was not my account. I asked why they asked for it if they did not need it. VERY SUSPICIOUS!!!!!! I believe TD Bank is a scam and would like to report them.

Denied request to lower payments
Complaint: I obtained a used car loan with TD Auto Finance and was a cosigner for my husband. He became XXXX and could not work anymore, so we asked TD Auto to consider lowering the payments or any other financial assistance for the hardship. They advised that there were n't any options available and the only thing we could do is refinance, which was not an option due to behind payments. At that time we agreed to voluntarily surrender the vehicle. Few months later received a large {$19000.00} bill for the deficiency balance and letters from their attorneys. This company charged very high interest rate on the car loan and were not considerate of the financial hardship.

Complaint: There is currently a derogatory record on our credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX, account opened XX/XX/XXXX. The account is listed as charged off with a balance of {$31000.00}. It shows late payments starting in XX/XX/XXXX, and shows late payments since then.
Request 1 Remove derogatory information from our credit report, including the status of charge-off. The Fair Credit Billing Act requires creditors to bill correctly, including send bills to your current address and we did not receive bills or other notices on this account.
Request 2 Despite not receiving statements or bills, weve paid this loan in full. We request that the loan be updated to reflect payment in full.
History 1. We believe the account was charged off in error. The loan was set up for auto payments from a TD Bank checking account. The auto payments worked for a few months, then stopped going through without our knowledge. The TD Bank checking account was not our primary account, and we noticed the issue from a negative mark on a credit report.
2. We received no bill, no notice of late payment, no notice that the auto-pay was not working and no email, letter or phone call from TD Bank requesting payment.
3. As soon we learned ( from credit report ), we called and made all retro-active payments for all back due amounts.
4. We requested a statement be sent of our account status, amount due, and payment information. TD Bank declined.
5. To date, we have received no written notification of charge off status, or recognition of monthly payments made. We have continued making monthly payments in good faith. ( we can provide bank payment records ) 6. Requested directly from TD bank to remove negative information from Credit report, but they declined.
7. Loan is now paid in full, have a letter from TD Bank dated XX/XX/XXXX acknowledging payment.
8. We request that negative information be removed from our credit report, and that the loan be recorded as paid in full.
9. In addition, we request a final accounting letter, as we believe we have a credit amount of approximately {$1100.00}, and would like that amount refunded.

I called XXXX they cancelled the card and are sending me info form to fill out form.

Complaint: Good Morning on XXXX XXXXXXXX,2017 a large amount of XXXX was stolen out of my account. This was part of my rent money and also my kids XXXX money. I was told an investigation would take 30 days to complete. I am a single mom with XXXX boys that have severe XXXX. 2 days before XXXX I will be put out of my home.
