Complaint: TD advertises free checking with criteria and with free online banking and telebanking. When you meet the account criteria for 'free ' account, TD then charges for the bank statement to be delivered. TD conceals the fact that you must pay for the bank statement with any account. TD does not have functional online banking or telebanking. TD then asks us to verify our identity by describing transactions, which we are trying to learn about. We can't get a record of transactions and then TD claims it is verifying our identity by interrogating us about transactions. This violates our privacy and blames us for not being able to access our accounts. Because we don't know the transaction history we have to physically drive and come in to a branch with ID during their hours to get basic transaction history. This extorted labor is a disguised fee. With telebanking you can not hear all types of transactions within the given time period. With online banking it is impossible to get access to it. I was advertised to by TD online and I opened the account online and then, after giving all of my information and opening the account online, was told I had to visit the branch simply to verify my identity. In fact, the account was not opened online. When I went in they had to open the account and the whole thing took another 2 hours. I specifically asked about online banking physically inside TD bank and was told that they certainly did have online banking and it was free. I was told that I could deposit checks online and make transfers and pay bills online. This is not true. I have had the account open 2 months and have never been able to access online banking. I have called 4 times and spent a minimum of 1 hour to more than 2 hours on the phone every time I call. I can not access online banking, which was advertised to me online. 1. TD falsely advertises access to online banking and telebanking. 2. TD falsely advertises 'free ' checking when you meet the criteria by charging for a bank statement and by concealing that charge. 3. TD extorts labor from its customers, forcing us to labor for hours attempting to access online banking or telebanking. 4. TD must compensate us for our extorted labor to access our accounts, lack of access to transactions by printed statement, online banking, or telebanking. The false advertising gets our money to TD, then we get transactions going and are stuck in this situation, subsidizing TD 's profits with our extorted labor until we can resolve the matter and then go through the expense of going to another bank.

Complaint: I spoke with XXXX/TD Bank in XX/XX/XXXX to try to resolve an issue with several derogatory late payments from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX that are being reported to the three major credit bureaus. I mailed my payments for XXXX/TD Bank on time. I normally do not mail payments, but because XXXX/TD Bank was confusing my XXXX XXXX debit card with my XXXX XXXX credit card, I decided to mail in the payments so there would not be any confusion and I could make sure that the account was paid in full and on time. I've attached a copy of one of the checks that was transferred to ACH by XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, which is one of the months that is marked as derogatory. I spoke to XXXX/TD Bank about resolving this and they explained that they could not remove any errors unless it was their error. As you can see by this one example attachment in XX/XX/XXXX, the error was on their end.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX three fraudulent charges were placed on my credit card : {$350.00} ; {$140.00} and {$350.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed the charges and called the bank with my concern. Then sent a letter detailing theses charges were unauthorized on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, the charges were placed back on my account without notification. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed these new charges and again called the bank for explanation. I was told I would receive a call back.

Complaint: First off I want to start by saying this is my third filed complaint with the CFPB on TD Auto Finance. I want to know when enough is enough? On XX/XX/XXXX, my wife made a payment to my account ( account # XXXX ) the payment was applied to my wife 's account for some reason, showing that I was late making my payment and behind by 2 payments when I was NOT. I called TD Auto Finance and they did not seem to help, therefore I submitted a complaint through the CFPB and I was answered and it was apparently corrected ( Please see in the attachments the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX written by XXXX XXXX - Problem Resolution Service Representative ), included in the letter was also a statement showing all my on time payments and that I was not behind. I recently received my new monthly statement for XX/XX/XXXX payment. This time my new monthly statement says I am {$3900.00} behind when I have made all my payments on time. This is by far the most ridiculous situation ever. I make my payments on time every month and I have every bank statement to prove it. I continuously have to contact the CFPB to get these situations fixed when they should be fixed in the first place.
