Complaint: The mortgage company change the apr and monthly payment and did not send any notification of the changes to my address, their customer service department, has People who are not even qualified to answer questions they give you wrong information over the phone then they expect you to tolerate their inconsistent behavior and lack of knowledge.

Complaint: I have a mortgage with a servicer by the name of seterus, I just received a letter from an attorney claiming to be the attorney for fannie mae and seterus. I had requeste information regarding the hoa fees charged to my account. This attorney XXXX XXXX, has lied. He says they were not hoa fees, even though that is what is written on the statement. He says those are attorney fees for the attorney in some quiet title law suit. I have never received a letter from an attorney, and further that case didnt start until 5 months after these fees were charged. I want to know who the attorney on my loan truly is. I am being scammed out of my property and want answers.

Complaint: My husband had a loan with Seterus, and was in the middle of making trial payments to have the loan modified when he passed away XX/XX/XXXX. I wanted to assume the loan, and completed all paperwork to send to Seterus. There was an issue that took several months to resolve, as Seterus wanted me to have the home go through the Probate process before they would review the assumption application. I explained that I already owned the home since I was on the deed, and should n't have to pay the expenses of Probate since I own the home. This took Seterus several months to review, and finally send me a letter that they agree the property does not need to go through Probate - that i must have been " misinformed '' by someone at Seterus. Once this issue was resolved, i had to resubmit many of the documents since they were considered " out of date '' by Seterus. I did as they asked, and they sent a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that they had received all the documents from me they needed and were reviewing for the assumption and I should receive an approval or denial in about 30 days. We are just a few days short of it being 60 days now. I have been calling each week since the 30 day point to see where we stand - and each person I speak to says there are no notes that reflect it 's even being worked on. This situation has been " escalated '' in Seterus system twice in XX/XX/XXXX - without any forward movement to the " escalation ''. I received a letter via XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX that Seterus was " responding to our request '' and had assigned XXXX XXXX with " Consumer and Government Affairs '' to our case. The letter said to reach him with any questions, and gave his number. I have since called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX - I left voicemails each time, and have not received one return phone call or message. I called the general customer service line on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke w XXXX XXXX who reviewed all notes, and agreed that the review did not appear to be moving forward, and got her supervisor XXXX XXXX involved. I spoke with XXXX and she said she would contact the " Assumptions Department Manager '' that day, and have them call me that day. I never heard from anyone ( XXXX or Assumptions Manager ) .I asked XXXX for her direct line and called her on it on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX - and left voicemails each time stating I had never heard from the Assumptions Department Manager - and I still have not received one return phone call or message from XXXX . I called the general customer service line today, XX/XX/XXXX and was advised there are still no notes or evidence that the review is moving forward. I want this process completed so that I can move forward with my life, and I 'm concerned that Seterus is taking so long, they 'll tell me my paperwork is out of date again.

Complaint: Seterus Inc has been collecting the incorrect amount of escrow for years and last year I received a shortage letter for over {$3000.00}. This is UNACCEPTABLE. So on XXXX XXXX, 2016 I called Seterus regarding the procedure to remove my insurance escrow. When I called, they gave me a number to fax my request to and I sent the fax the same day. Today I called back to check on the status and was informed the fax number I used was for the wrong department. ADDITIONALLY, they informed me that I can not request to only have the insurance removed. I have to ask for the taxes to be removed as well. ANOTHER piece of information that I was not informed of before. To top it off, I asked to speak with a supervisor to expedite my request because I do not want to pay another month of escrow to this company, and the representative said that I could not speak with anyone else and it would be a 30 day turnaround time no matter what. This is unacceptable! I want my ESCROW REMOVED IMMEDIATELY so I do not have to pay any more money into an account that they do not know how to manage.

Complaint: My loan was sold/transferred to a different servicer and now every year there is a increasing amount of shortage in my escrow. For the pas 2 years it was short {$1700.00} plus the first year and now they are telling my it 's short {$2600.00}. I every month, i have inquired several times about tis and have been brushed off, hung up on, and told that they could not provide the information I am requestion. My principal is only gettitng {$94.00} dollars paid towards it and almost {$400.00} toward interest. How is thios possible, when will i every pay off this note?

Complaint: my ex husband and his lawyer sent a subpoena to my mtg company for my application, payment history etc and seterus gave it to them, this is not a court order just a request from my ex husband who is not on my loan and never has been the home is in my name only and bought before we were married, my ex husband now has all my personal information and mtg information this was given to him in XXXX 2015 I just found out he had this information because he used it in court for our divorce / custody battle we have now. I do n't think he has the legal right to this information and that seterus committed third party disclosure of my info. had a court or judge ordered this I would understand but none of that was done. even the judge was shocked he had this information.

Complaint: Seterus, Inc. has failed to remit my {$1500.00} escrow reimbursement within the 30 day post loan payoff period required by law. This is my second filing of a complaint against Seterus with the CFPB as your records will show that I have had other problems with this incredibly inept company. I paid the loan off on XX/XX/XXXX and have not received my check and it is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have had several phone calls with Seterus trying to get my money. They claimed they mailed a check on XX/XX/XXXX but I do not believe them as I have not received a check.Seterus should be fined and penalized for its incompetence and law breaking. XXXX should be alerted to its misconduct and should cancel its servicing agreement with Seterus.

Complaint: We keep receiving various delinquent notices from the mortgage loan services Seterus Inc. with threats of foreclosure. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 we sent them a letter with proof of payment for the dates they claimed non payment was made. We make the payments via cashiers/official check so there would be no risk of the check " bouncing '' and payments are mailed via certified mail. We did n't hear back from them but we kept getting late notices and late fees added to our account. On XXXX XXXX, 2015, we sent an inquiry letter asking for status of our XX/XX/XXXX correspondence. Again, we received the standard letter that they are researching our issue.
Now it 's XX/XX/XXXX, almost six months later and no resolution except for the continuation of the harrasing letters and late fees added to our account. Now they claim we owe for the months after we sent our XX/XX/XXXX letter. This is the second time in less than two years that this firm has put us through this headache. We have provided evidence of payment and they fail to recognize and/or properly apply our payments to our account.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I was approved for funds from the Florida 's Hardest Hit Fund Program and the funds were sent to my mortgagor, Seterus, Inc,. to be applied to the outstanding principal balance. The HFA funds were in a suspense account with Seterus for 7 months. All my calls to request the HFA funds are applied and the loan recast were ignored. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a " Reamortization Agreement '' letter from Seterus which demands that I agree to extend the maturity date of the current mortgage an additional 20 years. The original mortgage is a conventional 30 year loan originated XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX, there are less than 20 years remaining on the original loan which matures in XX/XX/XXXX. Seterus is demanding that I agree to extend the loan maturity another 20 years to XX/XX/XXXX! In addition, Seterus refused to reduce the outstanding principal by the amount they received from the State of Florida Treasury Department. The HFA amount to be applied to the outstanding principal is less than the $ XXXX provided to Seterus from the Florida state 's HHF. I called Seterus and was informed that this agreement is final and they will not make any amendments.

Complaint: My mortgage was sold to Seterus in XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The escrow account was shorted when transferred to Seterus and my last payment to XXXX was not applied nor forwarded to Seterus. I have called and worked with XXXX and Seterus for a full year. However, no one wants to take ownership and step up to help fix the problem. The loan has been behind from day 1 with Seterus and is falling farther behind -- even as I continue to make payments for over the amount due in an attempt to catch my mortgage up.
My loan continues to be hit with charges driving my loan farther behind and into foreclosure. I believe total mismanagement of my escrow account and payments have occurred. I have called and asked to speak to a supervisor or be assigned a specific representative so I do not have to start at XXXX every time I call and attempt to get this fixed. The last time I called- I waited to speak to a supervisor on hold for XXXX minutes and then I was disconnected/hung up on. I ca n't believe they are going to foreclose when I had been current until my last month with XXXX. I have attempted to login online to the Seterus website. All I can see is just a big black box ; the whole screen is black. I ca n't see any details regarding my loan.
I received approx. {$700.00} in XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX stating they have now found the funds and 'fixed my mortgage balance '. But my mortgage is not fixed and {$700.00} will not fix the problem due to all the legal and late fees now on my account. I asked Seterus if I send the money XXXX shorted at transfer and refunded me which causing my mortgage to be behind and increasing my payment due to the escrow shortage- 'will you go back and reapply my payments correctly and remove all the extra charges- legal and late '. Seterus says they will run analysis and get back with me in two weeks. I never hear back from Seterus. I keep calling them back and usually end up on the phone for about an hour while the representative looks things up and then Seterus employees says the same thing!! 'We need to run an analysis and will get back with you in two weeks. Now I 'm two weeks from foreclosure!!! Please help me!
