Complaint: I currently have a loan with Santander Bank loan # XXXX on my property located at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX ma XXXX. At this time It is in foreclosure and an auction scheduled for XXXX XXXX, 2015 which is next week. For 8 months we have tried working with the bank on a loan modification supplying them with all the required documentation ( sometimes XXXX and XXXX times ) After all this time they have denied our modification and now want to auction the property.

Complaint: I have a bank account with Santander Bank. I received a domestic wire into my bank account in connection with a purchase of residential real estate. When I tried to wire the funds out of the bank to finish the transaction, I was told that I would have to wait 3 business days in order to access the money. The purpose of a wire is so that the funds are clear once they clear the Federal Reserve. I feel that making me wait 3 business days to have access to money wired into my bank account is illegal and unethical. The funds should be available once they are received by the Bank ; once received by the bank they should be put into my account and be immediately accessible. The bank is doing this to make money off of other people 's money.

Complaint: Santander Bank is force placing insurance on my loan due to XXXX rules that should not apply to my property - they are wrongly treating my building like a giant apt complex instead of a small cooperative building. Numerous email and phone calls have gone unanswered - always need to talk to someone else who is never there. They have no force placed added insurance and will deduct cost from my escrow. They are stealing from me. Can you please help me get a satisfactory response from this dishonest lender? Will you please help revoke their banking charter, as they are clearly robbing consumers as a general practice.

Complaint: I am trying to obtain a legible copy of a check cashed against my mother 's account on or about the day she passed away. I am an executor of her estate. There is a {$5000.00} discrepancy in the balance and I have not been able to obtain a legible copy of the back of the check. I have a copy of XXXX sides from the bank but only the front is legible. The back is too blurry to read. I will attach a copy for your review. I have contacted my mother 's bank and they state that sometimes " that 's the way the check copies are, and they do not know where the original can be found ''.

Complaint: I inadvertently used a Santander account to pay a XXXX phone bill. It must have been on a selection list I did n't notice. In any case there were insufficient funds to cover the payment. I only really use this account to transfer funds to my daughter 's college account. I received XXXX notices, XXXX postmarked XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX days after the transaction date ) and another on XX/XX/XXXX 7 days after the fact telling me I had XXXX days to remediate the issue. All the while I had already been charged an additional {$35.00} fee for not adding funds to the account.. That seem like an unscrupulous business practice. I was told by their representative that I have to continually review my account and I was out of luck. That 's ridiculous ... They know enough to send a notice but wait XXXX days to send it to ensure XXXX % of the time they 'll get another {$35.00} ....

Complaint: Santander Bank is advertising " Purchase Assurance ( XXXX ) -- Insures you for 90 days from the date of purchase for theft, damage or loss up to {$1000.00} '' as a feature of the XXXX debit card. However, they do not actually offer the service. When I went to file a claim they did n't know about the service at first. Then when they did they directed me to XXXX. XXXX said Santander did not buy the insurance policy necessary for them to offer this service.
The Purchase assurance is advertised in hardcopy material provided when I opened my account as well as throughout their website, including at : XXXX
