Complaint: In the first quarter of 2019 I made a large payment by check to Roundpoint mortgage. My mortgage is {$680.00}. The payment I made was for over {$3000.00}. When I sent it in I checked the box to apply the over payment to my principle. After receiving my next payment coupon I noticed that they did not do that. They applied my over payment to my next months payment and to escrow. I called to change it and was told that because I sent it in as a check instead of paying it on line they can not guarantee that the money will be applied as I wish. It is the second time that this has happened with this mortgage company and both times I called in to get it corrected. I am figuring they are grabbing extra interest from me and putting my money ( and possibly others ) into another pot to make money on that. No where on the coupon does it tell me that my over payment will not be applied as I wish.

Complaint: I had a 30 year FHA mortgage with Roundpoint mortgage company. I paid off my mortgage balance on XX/XX/XXXX by refinancing with another lender. I had an escrow account having a balance of {$5400.00} to be reimbursed to me. I called them after 3 weeks to find out about my refund. I was told that they could hold the money for a month before they refund. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX as I saw online a refund was issued on XX/XX/XXXX and they told me the check was cut on XX/XX/XXXX and I should receive the check in a week. Complaint: We were required to purchase PMI at ten time we got our mortgage in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time our home appraised for {$270000.00}. The current principal balance on our home is {$200000.00}. As we understand, PMI should have been removed automatically when the LTV reached 78 % of the original appraised value. After noticing that the bank did not remove our PMI, even after the principal fell below 210,000, we filled out the banks request form to remove the PMI and emailed it as instructed on XX/XX/XXXX. We have received no response. We have never missed or been late on a single payment.

Complaint: The company is Roundpoint Mortgage. In XX/XX/XXXX I accidentally double paid my mortgage for the month. Shortly after, I requested a refund for the second mortgage payment. Once I realized the refund wouldnt be another direct deposit, I asked for the cancellation of the refund and to have the funds applied for XX/XX/XXXX payment instead. At first, the request was noted, however another agent already processed the cashiers check and therefore voided the initial stop refund request. This incident is what initiated my problems with roundpoint mortgage. Once the cashiers check was issued, I requested for customer service reps to void the check and apply the funds to XX/XX/XXXX payment. I requested this process more than 10 times. Each time, I was told it would be done only to find out my request was never documented or initiated on my account. To make a long story short, roundpoint held on to XX/XX/XXXX payment for 115 days. Within those 115 days, roundpoint gave me a {$75.00} late fee, and added a delinquency notice on my credit report which made my credit fall by more than 100 points. It wasnt until 90 days in to my problem, that roundpoint finally acknowledged their error, fixed my credit and removed the late fee. They even sent a long apology letter ensuring the issue was resolved. However, the company still took 3 more weeks to actually apply XX/XX/XXXX payment. Therefore, ( to my current problem ), Im dealing with another -150 point hit to my credit report, and foreclosure warning letters from the company. I once again asked the company to dispute the company error with the credit bureaus, but as far as I know, my request is being disregarded again. Ive had my loan since XX/XX/XXXX, every mortgage payment has been made on time since then. Ive tried almost everything I can think of to get the company to resolve these issues and close out the account but the company neglects my complaints and refuses to expedited resolving my concerns. I am afraid I may have to take more extreme measures to fight this company.

Complaint: My mortgage company roundpoint mortgage purchase my mortgage from my original lender and took control of the mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX of 2019 at that time it was discovered that there were issues regarding property tax payments from the original lender. I began the refi process in late XXXX making it very clear to the roundpoint mortgage representative that I was not going to and not able to bring any money to the closing and I was very clear of that both orally on the phone and in email. Nothing was ever said until we were about a week away from closing and then the issue comes up that I need to bring money to the table at the time of closing. The manager of the refi department at roundpoint went back and listen to all of our conversations and admitted to me that they did not make full disclosure about any programs about what my responsibilities were. Here we are now almost 14 weeks later I still haven't closed on my refi and I am going to be asked to bring money to the table. I was not given disclosure about what programs they were going to use what the requirements were for the program 's nor was I ever given the option to discuss what programs they were going to use for the refi. Now, if the refi doesn't go through I am going to be struggling for months to catch up not only with my mortgage but with my other debts due to the fact that I was told we were going to close in XXXX. This is not right, I want to close and I want to close the way will you agreed upon, silence is acceptance nobody ever said anything to me that we can't do a refi unless you bring money to the table.

Complaint: I received my tax bill from the county and found that I was paying double the tax I was assessed. I called ROUNDPOINT Mortgaging Servicing Corporation and I was told that I am going to receive a check for {$1900.00} and that my mortgage payment would decrease from {$1000.00} to {$900.00} ( and change ). I was also told that it would be sent through the mail to my personal address by the XXXX of XXXX. This call was made around the XXXX. I received a call a few days later and the representative on the phone told me that I would be receiving {$1300.00} ( I don't have the exact amount ) and they didn't say anything further about my decreased mortgage payment. I received another call from them saying that my refund would be {$800.00} ( I don't have the exact amount but it was XXXX dollars and something ). They indicated to me, at the beginning of each call, that the call would be recorded. The information I have provided should be available on their recorded line.

Complaint: I initiated a mortgage application to refinance a primary property I purchased in XXXX of XXXX. Day of closing my loan officer shows me the pay off from RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing and they are trying to be paid {$1700.00} for " Taxes paid ''. I had a tax proration on my purchase when I closed. I owed the tax proration plus the following year of taxes by XXXX of XXXX. I paid taxes due on XX/XX/XXXX on the county treasures website for the tax proration from the previous year and the entire year due. After calling Roundpoints customer service line about this, they essentially said that they were allowed to charge me what they want without providing any written notice more than once. They kept stating they sent me a letter in the mail saying if taxes were not paid within 75 days they would pay it an force escrow. XXXX XXXX stated the letter was sent out towards the end of XX/XX/XXXX. Roundpoint did not do a check to verify if taxes had been paid or not and sent a check to the county treasures office. Now today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I am trying to close on a refinance and have to be delayed because Roundpoint will not update their payoff letter today removing their irresponsible charge of {$1700.00}. The front line agent was rude and disrespectful and her supervisor XXXX XXXX upon the initial call was rude and disrespectful as well. Both wanted to talk in circles about them having " the contractual right '' to charge me money with out notice and force escrow. Who is responsible to make sure they aren't irresponsibly charging/escrowing fees to their customers? I am attaching the letter they said they sent and I never received. Also, I will be attaching my paid receipt for taxes paid in XXXX and lastly, I am attaching the payoff I requested for the refinance.

Complaint: I retained an attorney as a result of overcharges and overbilling to my escrow account for taxes and insurance. My attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has contacted the Mortgage Servicing Company, Roundpoint, on numerous occasions and requested they contact. I have also made the same request numerous times. Despite this I received a call onhttps : //www.consumerfinance.govXXXX XX/XX/2019 which I answered, informed the caller who stated he was from Rounpoint that I had an attorney, gave his name and told him to speak to him and hung up. I received another call the next day and the same thing happened. I called my attorney to inform and he wrote complaining of this.

Complaint: This XXXX mtg co is the worst. They bought my mtg. in XX/XX/2019. When I went through refi they found out that previous mtg co did NOT pay last quarter taxes. Now after 2 mos. of getting everything in order they tell me I MUST pay the taxes again in order to close on refi. I pay my taxes every month. Plus, I was told that we were closing on the XXXX and now I do not have XXXX XXXX payment. This is XXXX XXXX!! The old mtg co said they would pay the taxes & penalties. BUT, XXXX Off Roundpoint paid bot quarters and penalties. Now in order to close on my refi they want me to pay the taxes again ar closing and then wait for the refund from county which will take months, per county. I paid my taxes!

Complaint: Trying to get our escrow account refunded. On our online account is showed that we had a refund due in the amount of {$1800.00} and that it was processed on XX/XX/2019. We had not received anything in the mail and it was the end of XXXX. We were advised that a check has been mailed, but if we do not receive it by XX/XX/XXXX that we could call and ask to have it re-issued. We called back on XX/XX/XXXX to advise that we had still not received the refund from our escrow account. The woman advised us that they were cancelling check # XXXX and would be reissuing the refund and we would have it in 5-10 business days. On XX/XX/2019 we received communication from Roundpoint Mortgage that was postmarked on XX/XX/2019. The refund check was in the envelope. I went to deposit the check and realized the check that was issued had an issue date of XX/XX/2019 and it was check # XXXX. So somehow the check that they claimed to have mailed did not get sent until XX/XX/2019 which was 5 days after we had called and requested the check to be re-issued.We called to verify that the check had been cancelled as we did not want to have a returned item and get charged a fee. We were advised that the check # XXXX had been cancelled and that a new check was requested on XX/XX/2019 and we would have it in 5-10 business days. Here we are almost 60 days out from the day that the check was supposedly mailed and we do not know where our {$1800.00} refund is.

Complaint: 1. Request that all E-mail 's include " RoundPoint and Loan number '' in subject line! This is MY life and my Home I brought my kids and now Grandchildren up. I am active in my community and have NO other DEBT. Home Equity Loan ( HEL ) Fixed Interest, NO Penalties, NOT a HELOC! I seeking the understanding how Roundpoint can charge {$4100.00} over the last 4 month if my payment is {$450.00}? I would still make payments or would have paid the loan off in full, if Roundpoint would not have : a ) stopped honoring my payments, and began to return them to me b ) made a counter offer to my settlement offer after they returned my payments. One may think Roundpoint is seeking a FREE HOUSE! Have I missed payments YES! Why? RoundPoint 's way of being helpful resulted in my case, to a 8 month of delinquency! NOT because I didn't want to pay, but because I was actively talked out making payments. After all we were in a settlement negotiation and should save the payments and apply them to the final settlement! RoundPoint reneged on the settlement. 2. Who and What would be considered a 3 party involvement? Several Settlement offers were send by myself or my legal council ( past council ) to Roundpoint. Mrs. XXXX XXXX ( Customer Advocate ) mentioned, in a phone conversation ( XX/XX/2019 ) that a particular settlement offer was countered by Roundpoint. Mrs. XXXX 's offered to forward Roundpoints counter to my E-mail address by XX/XX/2019 and after she returned from her day off! Still waiting! 3. Request for any and all Counter offers made by Roundpoint in reference to my Settlement offers. 4. Request for Roundpoint to show proof how each money order, mailed by certified mail to Roundpoint, was allocated. 5. Request for Roundpoint to show proof how Bankruptcy Judges order to adjust my account by {$12000.00} in my favor. was allocated! 6. Request for Roundpoint to show how they calculate {$4100.00} if my monthly payments are only {$450.00}? 7. Request for Roundpoint to quit stalling!!! I'm not inte rested in generated monthly printouts but detailed proof that Roundpoint allocated my Payments and honored a Federal ( Bankruptcy ) Judges order! Complaint: We wanted to pay our Escrow ourselves starting in XX/XX/2019. It is XX/XX/XXXX and they are still taking money and putting it into escrow. We have contacted them each month to discuss the issue, and they will not resolve it. On the phone, they understand ( sometimes ), they have made mistakes, but when the bill comes in the mail, it is still not correct. Getting through to them on the phone has been an issue as well. Each person is new and does not understand the history behind the loan. We need to resolve the issue so NO escrow is taken from our account.
