Complaint: I opened an account with Pentagon FCU in XX/XX/2015. I also had an overdraft protection account of {$500.00}. Sometime the following year I cam behind in payments on my overdraft protection account loan ending XXXX. At that time Pentagon FCU denied me access to my checking account in which I had direct deposit. The froze my debit card in which I would have no access to my money because there are no branches in the state of XXXX, on top of that they required that before I be given any access to my direct deposit that I bring my account current. Even though I told them that I was unable to pay at the time and was willing to work other arrangements. As a result I was unable to pay my rent or car payment and my car was repossessed. Please look into this as I feel my rights were violated. They did give me the option of having my money XXXX XXXX to me but that was only after i brought my account current.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, opened share savings account and given membership number XXXX, and in XX/XX/XXXX, opened limited checking account. Someone hacked into my XXXX account and attempted to make purchases with my registered accounts in the XXXX system. With very limited funds in the mentioned accounts, of course, PenFed rejected these debits from the account. However, after multiple attempts/returns to the account, this Credit Union has assessed at least {$700.00} in bank fees. On XX/XX/XXXX, sent an e-mail on the consumer website through " contact us '' advising them of the issue and to reverse the charges. As of this writing, they have ignored my e-mail and have been negligent in noticing/contacting the member about these suspicious transactions on a new account. They should be investigated for the numerous erroneous fees that most likely are charged to the members of this Credit Union.

Complaint: On XXXX previous occasions such as this, XXXX XXXX has configured software logic into their banking system designed to force me into penalties and interest charges on a 0 % credit card offer by not allowing me to make a transfer or even pay my balance due. After many conversations over the phone I am told that a checking account balance must be resolved before this account may be brought current. These XXXX have nothing to do with XXXX another and should be considered fraudulent behavior by the CFPB.

Debt was discharged in bankruptcy
Complaint: Pentagon Federal Credit Union / Pentagon XXXX is attempting to collect a debt that was included in a bankruptcy, paid in full per the plan and discharged ( Case XXXX ). After many months of disputing this tactic with Pentagon Federal Credit Union with the credit reporting bureaus, CFPB, and the US Department of Justice, Executive Office of the US Trustees was Pentagon Federal Credit Union 's attempts to collect discharged debt was halted and incorrect credit history corrected.
However, Pentagon Federal Credit Union is now re-attempting to collect the discharged debt by labeling the account as having a past due balance and being a charge-off. XXXX still reports this account as such on my credit file. XXXX and XXXX have corrected the account to show included in a chapter XXXX bankruptcy and with a {$0.00} balance.
Attached is the Chapter XXXX Discharge notice that has been sent to Pentagon Federal Credit Union multiple times ; and how XXXX is incorrectly recording the account per Pentagon Federal Credit Union and its attempt to collect the debt.

Complaint: Received invitation from my bank XXXX XXXX to sign up for airport XXXX XXXX as a XXXX XXXX cardholder benefit. The letter I received stated that I and a guest would enjoy XXXX complimentary visits before being charged. My wife and I used the XXXX visits on a trip to XXXX XXXX in XXXX 2016 but XXXX charged me {$54.00} for the second visit. Despite several attempts to get XXXX to refund the charge, they refuse, claiming that I was only entitled to XXXX " passes '' There is no mention of a " pass '' or " passes '' in the letter -- only XXXX complimentary visits for both me and a guest. The outbound flight was XXXX visit and the returning flight was the second. I believe that the language is clear but If there is any ambiguity, it should be interpreted against the drafter, in this case XXXX XXXX. This was misrepresentation and I want the charge removed from my credit card account.

Complaint: I submitted a complaint previously against Pentagon Federal Credit Union, Case # XXXX, which resulted in a response from XXXX stating that Pentagon Federal Credit Union would reduce the interest in the amount of {$540.00} for 2016. This was in response to my complaint of extra payments not applied toward principal as per my request. I believe that the {$540.00} should have gone into principal and not in a reduction of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter stating that a new escrow analysis revealed a shortage of {$520.00} over 12 months which I paid in order to keep my payment at XXXX. XXXX is not applying payments correctly online as per customer request. I have to call to have them correct it on a consistent basis. I made my XX/XX/XXXX payment {$10.00} over the XXXX XXXX {$950.00} XXXX payment as per XXXX on the letter dated XX/XX/2016. The {$10.00} was not applied toward principal. This is after flagging my account to service it correctly.
