Complaint: Could you please assist me with rectifying, according to law, how a mortgage Servicer/Lender can require me to pay for a hazard policy that was never forced placed?
As background, on the XX/XX/XXXX I close on my house which was originally financed by XXXX. XXXX. At closing I paid for a full year of Hazard Insurance coverage ( set to expire XX/XX/XXXX ). Before my first mortgage payment was due, PennyMac bought my loan from XXXX. XXXX and since I have been making payments to include escrow for hazard insurance.
To my surprise, on the XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from PennyMac informing me that my hazard insurance policy was cancelled. Which was discovered by PennyMac when they made contact with the insurance carrier to renew the policy. I immediately called my insurance company only to confirm the bad news. Since I have found a new policy and informed PennyMac to pay for my new insurance out of the escrow account. PennyMac took care of the new policy and went on thinking everything was back to normal ... or so I thought.
XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from PennyMac asking me to provide proof of insurance for the time frame when the policy was cancelled or they will buy insurance for approximately {$2000.00} and will take it from my escrow. This is bizarre, I question how can a servicer/lender require a borrower to pay for insurance premiums when there was no forced/lender placed policy to justify the premium. I called a few agency to see if I can buy insurance for a period that's in the past and I was told that's illegal and impossible. Now, how can PennyMac buy coverage for a period in the past?

Complaint: Today, I heard from PM, a man named XXXX, ruthless, no apology, etc and anything that is negative. He called to tell me only that my loan was not going to vacated and went on to bring up about XXXX ' payment, which I indicated that they should receive it tomorrow. During the call, I made it very clear that this war with them was not over. This has been happening for 10 years and my voice was far from flattering. These people are venomous, savages, unprofessional, no sympathy and the only service they offer is ... .BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS AND THEY SPEAK WITH FORK TONGUE ... HATE THEM ... ....
The last complaint is number XXXX, I received a response from Penny Mac, on Friday, with their same standard format, indicating they are researching the matter. Based on their past history, this is what will happen, I will receive another standard format in the next couple of days and this is what it will say ... Based on our enquiry we found no evidence that we have done anything wrong. I sent you the copy of their statement and this is what they do to me twice a year. This is been a problematic and chronic. So, in other words it is okay with them to continue their wrath. You can review my previous complaints outlining the same issues. There will never be any enquiries, whatsoever. It is only a standard format, in order for them to follow the protocal, for the government. They have an overturn of employees.
I have pasted one of the links against PM, for your review. This is not a handful of complaints against them. The list is endless. Consumers have posted blogs and it is viral. I contacted a couple of law firms in XXXX XXXX and had spoken with them and each indicated without commenting on the litigation, if there were any class action against Penny Mac and guess what, there are and it is Penny Mac 's employees, who are the litigants. So, I asked, if they were whistle blowers and they replied, reluctantly, yes. I chuckled and replied, they will receive justice.
Did your bureau have any knowledge on the matter? If not, now you do. Now about me. This Penny Mac is ruthless, unprofessional, forgery, fraudulent, thieves, emotional distress, screaming at me, etc. I have uploaded my initial complaint, per XXXX XXXX and thus, as of this day, nothing is whole. I had never heard of this bureau, until XXXX XXXX referred had indicated that it was time for the foregoing complaints and this is not going to stop.
In addition, their extension numbers and web is ineffective. Do I care, no? They are disrespectful and arrogant. One of the employees, is XXXX. Bad news. All of my payments are through my credit union only, not them. They are not trustworthy. The evidence has been a ten year problem and they still have me in delinquency, as usual. They are a group of morons.

Complaint: I wanted to pay off my mortgage by XX/XX/18. Some of the payoff funds came from various XXXX XXXX Bill Pay payments.
On XX/XX/18 I called PennyMac to find out what my payoff amount would be and I was given the amount and told I would need to send the final payment as a wire transfer. I made the wire transfer and assumed everything was fine.
Unfortunately one of the XXXX XXXX Bill payments arrived on XX/XX/18 and they wouldn't take responsibility for any extra interest or MIP payments this caused. Although this seems to be in conflict with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX Bill Pay Guarantee, I am not filing a complaint about it.
My problem is that PennyMac says that my loan wasn't satisfied until XX/XX/18, an additional 8 days later, and sent me an escrow account overages check that is considerably less than it should be. When I asked for an accounting of my funds they said I needed to refer to their website loan account information. However, for the past month there has been so much confusion and misappropriation of my payments on their website that I do not trust their accounting. I imagine they expect me to just take them at their word that my refund is correct. I don't!
I want a concise accounting of when they received my funds, what my funds were applied to and why they say my loan wasn't satisfied for an additional 8 days.

Complaint: Last XX/XX/2017 hurricane Irma hit Florida and the entire state was declared a disaster. A mortgage forebearance program was offered in which allowed you to not make your monthly mortgage payments and to my understanding the accrued payments and interest would simply be added on to the mortgage at the end of the forebearance period then I would resume making my monthly payments of XXXX. However PennyMac wanted a lump sum payment for all of it. What possible help would this program be to anyone? PennyMac then began foreclosure proceedings and informed me that I was responsible for all the charges involved with this if I wanted to keep my house. I negotiated a payment with them for around {$4500.00} to avoid them taking my house. I made a payment to them now starting in XXXX for my normal payment of {$360.00} hoping to continue with my normal monthly payments for the 26 years left on the note. PennyMac loan services called me Monday night and said I qualified for the modification program and my new payment would be {$330.00} but now mine would be a 40 mortgage loan. I am a XXXX XXXX and both these instances see like predatory lending to me.
