Complaint: on XX/XX/2018 I received a letter from ONE main financial, saying they had denied me on a credit line, well i never applied, so i log into into my XXXX account and saw they had an inquire on all 3 reports, i remember getting an invitation from the either XXXX or XXXX which i call to inquire, when i spoke to their operator she told that their interest was around 10 % then i said " No thank you very much '', never authorized for a credit run, i am no about to pay anyone 10 % on a credit line. yesterday i call their XXXX number i explain teh situation, hoping to get some resolution, the first operator " Hand up on me '', on the second dial the second play dump, refused o give me her name when ask to be transfer to a supervisor, when i began to tell teh supervisor, that i had received an invitation, call ad never apply since their rates were to high, she stared saying that perhaps some one had taken the letter call and apply, i said to her it was impossible, since i had sheered the paper, we have a big sheered in my office for all personal documents..then she stared playing the game she couldn't hear.. i have an i phone XXXX..and my service is with XXXX which is clear as whistle, keep saying i cant hear you and hang up..when i try to dial again, none would come up on the line.

Complaint: I had got a loan with One Main Financial, made payments then fell behind, I called to see about setting up arrangements and they didn't know what office was handling my account, I gave them all the information and they said they would contact me and never did, I reached out to them again once to settle the debt again they didn't know where my account was located still never received a response. SO I filed a complaint with the XXXX, they then pulled my account from collections and made it current. Then when I contacted them again they STILL could not locate the account. Now its on my credit again and was sold and this is damaging to my credit. I made numerous attempts and complaints and nothing. This is over a course of 4 years. I am fed up with them reporting when they never tried to resolve it when I was initiating a response.

Complaint: I initially took out this loan from OneMain Financial in XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX XXXX. I was making payments for 2 years and then my Spouse who is XXXX XXXX Military got transferred to XXXX in XXXX. I fell behind on the loan and then brought it back up to current three months later, but at that time they transferred the loan to another department in XXXX, so I was forced to make payments through direct debit from my account. I remained paying on this loan and current up until my spouse who is still XXXX XXXX Military was transferred in XX/XX/XXXX to the XXXX XXXX. At this time I am a XXXX XXXX employee and had to take a leave with out pay until I could get a XXXX XXXX oversees. I fell behind at least 90 days and then in XX/XX/XXXX I contacted OneMain because I had been making bill payment payments to my account but because OneMain had transferred my account to another department my payments were never accepted. When I called in XX/XX/XXXX the lady that helped me was ( XXXX XXXX ) said that if I made 3 monthly consecutive payments I could be set up again to make payments on line. So I paid that payment, then on XX/XX/XXXX when I called back up to make my payment it took 3 different phone calls to 3 different departments for them to take my payment. the customer Service reps stated that they could not accept my payment because my bank debit card was a XXXX and after 4 hours of calling back and trying to get someone to understand that I had made payments on this card last month and the month before that it was unethical for them not to accept my payment. I ended the last phone call after they finally accepted my payment in tears and literally almost having a nervous breakdown and I explained to these people that they not only were effecting my credit report but also my XXXX XXXX that I need to stay employed with the XXXX XXXX. Both of the Reps that I was talking to were so rude and were literally dening me the opportunity to pay my debt off. I call tonight, again from the XXXX XXXX to make my payment and was transferred again to another department and was told that my loan had been charged off and that i now could pay my loan and I was not subject to any fees for the use of Debit Card. I asked the rep how could my loan be charged off because I was told that if I made 3 consecutive payments that I could become eligible to make online payments which would be much easier for me due to the time difference in the XXXX and with my hours that I work. She told me that it was now charged off. I asked her if she saw all my notes on my account with all the issues that I had and she said yes. i also asked her if all the other conversations that I had with the other reps over the last 4 months had been recorded and she said yes. I know that there have been some FDCPA violations with regards to my loan. I know that I should have been able to have fallen under the SCRA with regards to being a spouse of an XXXX XXXX Military, yet this organization has chosen to charge off my account which would definatly effective my future employment with XXXX. I am asking that this loan be reinstated and that an investigation should be launched into the Lending and debt collecting of OneMain Financial, which I believe falls under XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: I received bad customer service and was threatened and attacked by Branch Manager XXXX XXXX. OnXX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX, I initially spoke with one of the Customer Service Representatives in reference to my Personal Loan account. She could not assist me with all of the questions I was asking and gave the phone to the Branch Manager, XXXX XXXX. I proceeded to speak with him to get a better understanding of my account location, as of to why my account was at his location and to get clarity on why I have extended payments for another almost 4 years. XXXX began to explain to me that my prior office closed and my account was closest to his office location and was assigned to his branch. He then began to review my account to give me feedback and began to tell me that, my problem is not my account, the problem is me making payments. At this point, I was utterly shocked at a manager stating this to me. I then begin to ask him to send me a copy of the loan agreement that I signed and he instantly was huffing and puffing in frustration. I began to ask him a question and he states to me that " if you give me time and stop interrupting me, I can get you the information ''. He began defamation of character with his rude remarks. I became very upset and asked him who in the XXXX do he think he is and that he does not know me. He immediately hung up the phone on me. I call the branch back and asked him for his Regional Manager 's name and number, and he gave me the name " XXXX XXXX '', who he states that is at the XXXX, AL location. I asked him if that's how their business is structured with a Regional Manager being local? His remark back to me was, I tell you what, if you don't pay, I'm calling my attorney so you will pay. Then I asked for her number and he refused to give it me and instead, but insisted on giving me the Corporate number and said you didn't know. That's how this works, you get the corporate customer service number. I call the number he provided and received a representative by the name XXXX. I told her that I wanted to file a complaint about a Branch Manager XXXX XXXX and to request to have my account moved from this location and to move the XXXX XXXX in XXXX, AL location, and to also see about my account being extended with payments for another almost 4 years. I explained to her the original term of the loan was for 60 months and that this year will make 5 years. XXXX stated that the investigation would take 3 to 5 business days. This time went by and received a call back from that basically, she did not apologize for her Branch Manager 's behavior, and that he would be corrected. Secondly, she stated that I would receive a copy of my loan documents that I signed that I refinanced, and she also stated that I do in fact have almost 4 years left on the loan and that I could make more than the payment amount to get the loan paid off faster. As for my request to have my loan moved from that branch location, she stated that I could call that Branch about my account and just speak with someone else and that she could not put in a request for my loan to be moved from that location until my payments were current, and at this point, there was not a guarantee that my account would be moved.
I have been paying on this installment loan since XXXX. This year will be 5 years. I have a very high interest tact on to this loan for 34.99 %, for a {$6000.00} loan. Essentially, this company is stating that I have another XXXX XXXX years to complete the loan for a refinanced amount of {$4600.00}. This was not my intentions to refinance or extend the life of the loan, I simply wanted to lower the payments because it is getting to a point that I can not afford the payments.

Complaint: Back in 2012 my office got broken into and they stoled not only my computers my wallet which had my drivers and social security in it, ( copy of police report included ). Earlier last month I purchased my first copy of credit report and got shock of my life to find out how someone could of done such a thing to me. apparently some one unknown to me had used my personal information to get an apartment and personal loans under my name from ONE MAIN FINANCIAL. at that time i had reported these accounts to credit bureaus and they had instructed me to file an FTC report which i did. Also at that time i had wrote a letter to one main financial and had made them know that the account that they are reporting to my credit report is result of identity theft. As of today i have not received no correspondent from ONE MAIN FINANCIAL and i decided to purchase a new report to find out that this fraudulent account still reporting to my credit report that is the reason i am here now.

Complaint: I had lost my job but have a job now. I have tried to work with One Main Financial and they are being so difficult. I need to get caught up on my payments, I need to know what my interest rate is and I need to know when this loan will mature. Nobody is able to tell me when this loan will be paid off if I keep making payment of XXXX a month which is the minimum monthly payment. They just keep telling my loan matures in 2019. What the XXXX does that even mean? Does that mean if I still owe a balance in 2019 that the loan is done being paid off and I won't have to make payment any more. I just want to know if I am behind in payments how long will it be to catch up? Once I am caught what is my interest because right now only like XXXX is going to principal. If only XXXX a month is going to principal when the XXXX will this loan be caught up, what will my interest be and when will this XXXX loan be paid off? Like I said they keep saying 2019 but won't clarify once the loan hits maturity and there is still a balance owed what happens to the amount due after maturity. I want the loan current now that I am working, I want to know why only XXXX out of the XXXX monthly payment is going to principal and I actually want to know how long it will take to get this loan payed off. No one can tell me know matter how hard I have tried to get this information.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Complaint : Debt Collection Company : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IN XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OneMain turned our account over to an attorneys office on XX/XX/XXXX which was the same day I called OneMain to try to resolve the debt collection. This was due to a situation that it had been in a debt settlement negotiation company that was not resolving the debt with OneMain.
We pulled our account from the debt settlement company, XXXX XXXX which we are in the process of submitting a separate complaint to the CFPB. We spoke to XXXX XXXX with the attorneys office on XX/XX/XXXX who told us to submit our bank statements, and financial statements, plus contract with XXXX so he could submit a proposal to OneMain for a payment arrangement. We complied and sent all information on XX/XX/XXXX with no response from XXXX XXXX or OneMain. I continued to follow up with emails which are included, in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, plus numerous phone calls directly to XXXX XXXX extension for all three months with no reply in regards to a payment plan with OneMain to resolve our debt.
We found out by way of solicitation of other attorneys to represent us in the suit against us filed on XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXn behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for failure to pay our debt. Then went onto Missouri XXXX XXXX and we were able to pull it up on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX. We NEVER received one letter, email, or phone call, from XXXX XXXX XXXX that OneMain had declined our financials for a payment plan. Nor did we EVER receive a letter that OneMain was going to sue us through XXXX XXXX XXXX.
We pursued XXXX XXXX XXXX as you can read in our emails from XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, and can provide our cell phone records from ATT all the outgoing calls made to XXXX XXXX XXXX for those months also with no response. We made every attempt to make arrangements to pay OneMain and ultimately did after contacting OneMain directly on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX, and set up payment arrangements for 6 months for {$50.00} ACH out of our checking directly to OneMain, NOT XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX then told me to contact him in XX/XX/XXXX to renegotiate a new payment plan before our last payment of {$50.00} in XX/XX/XXXX.
XXXX XXXX group sent a Stipulation Agreement letter that outlined the details of the payment plan which we had to sign. The Stipulation Agreement letter wasnt even close to what XXXX XXXX and I discussed and setup on XX/XX/XXXX, which I marked through and changed on the letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX. We sent it back certified mail so XXXX XXXX XXXX would have to sign for the Letter acknowledging acceptance of it with the corrections. This is included in additional documents with the complaint.
Now it is XX/XX/XXXX and I started calling XXXX XXXX XXXX at One Main to set up new payment arrangements XX/XX/XXXX and can not get a response back. We have complied with the payment agreement and wish to pay our debt, but OneMain sued us before without any notice or provocation even after we did our due diligence to try to correct what XXXX did with our creditors including XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX.
XXXX XXXX XXXX should be looked into for their so called collection practices, having banking and financial statements that we have no idea what they did with. We received no communication from OneMain that they were turning our account over to XXXX XXXX XXXX, no communication from XXXX XXXX XXXX they had our account in their office, then once they had all our financial information NO response other than being sued and incorrect Stipulation Agreement. Complaint: I have a personal loan at One Main Financial that I was 14 days late on the payment. They have called my cell phone 3 times a day, everyday, since the first late day. Today they called my employeer. Because I work at a casino and do not have phone access on the job, they must speak to a security officer, who then must leave his post, find me, have me taken to an office, and then relay the message. This happened a year ago when I was late with a payment and I told One Main Financial that they were not to contact me at work. Obviously, they still do. Furthermore, they will call from their office and employee cell phones, as if they are trying to conceal who is calling me, but I have all the numbers saved on my call records from my cell phone carrier.
