Complaint: Their daily interest system is not correct and they are taking more money on interest then they should. This has been going on for more than 4 months. My annual interest rate is 28.75 % my loan amount on my last statement was {$4500.00}. My daily interest is {$3.00} ( fluctuate depending on principal balance ). I pay daily with all my loans, I pay interest plus extra to go towards the principal, ( this pays the loan off faster ( car loan was paid off 5 months early ). OneMain Financial swap the amounts. Instead they take the large amount and put towards the interest and put the daily interest towards my principal. ex. XX/XX/XXXX I paid them {$20.00} they put {$17.00} to the interest and {$2.00} to the principal, XX/XX/XXXX I paid them {$14.00} they put {$10.00} to the interest and {$3.00} to the principal, XX/XX/XXXX I paid them {$14.00} they put {$10.00} to the interest and {$3.00} to the principal. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX and my call went up to the supervisor, when she finally understood the break down going off of their daily interest formula ( Principal Balance X ( Annual Interest Rate* / Year Count** ) X Number of Days Since Last Payment ( https : //www.onemainfinancial.com/XXXX ), she told me that she will take this to the financial heads and they will get back to me in two days. I never heard back. I called plenty of time before the XX/XX/XXXX and was put on the run around. This is over {$100.00} a month that should have been going towards my principal and my principal should be lower than what it is now.

Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX. i was reviewing my credit rating ( XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX.i saw the add for loans at reasonable rates. i can not remember if i applied on line or by phone. i received a loan packet 3 days later, with loan documents that were routine, asking personal info, and loan amount requested. i faxed the app to a office in indiana. they returned questions to me over about 7 days, and after i faxed the completed questions to indiana i was told by a phone call i was approved, but had to speak to a loan officer. i spoke to the loan officer, and he told me i was approved for {$3800.00} and not {$5500.00}. he also told me i would pay payments of {$170.00} per month, and the months were not discussed, and the interest would be 25 %, is what i heard, but over the phone, was not the rate! it was 35 %, of which i would find out later and would have refused! also the loan officer asked if i would do auto payments, to which i said ok. the money was deposited in my account on XX/XX/XXXX.since that date i have requested the loan papers, and later found out the interest rate at 35 %, and since then i have call one main, and spoke to many people for help. i have been told that they will not change the rate, but was told to pay off the loan to fix the issue, among many other suggestions. i did receive the loan papers after many calls to them on XX/XX/XXXX,1 1/2 months after the loan was given. i have a problem with the disclosure of the loan! they were not upfront with the info of the loan, and didnt want me to have it! because i was persistent, i finally receive the documents! i have no issue with paying back the money, but the interest is almost as much as the loan! this to me is predatory, and not fair. thank you XXXX XXXX

I paid the amount of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a correspondence datedXX/XX/XXXX, stating that the loan has been paid as agreed and closed. XX/XX/XXXX I received an alert on my credit report stating that I was late paying One Main Financial in XX/XX/XXXX, ( when that is inaccurate because it was settled an paid as agreed in XX/XX/XXXX ). I called the Credit Dispute Department made them aware of the error they reported. They informed me to mail or fax in a dispute letter an the reason. I faxed the dispute letter XX/XX/XXXX making them aware of the inaccurate information they are reporting. I received correspondence datedXX/XX/XXXX stating that the information that's reporting is correct. They are reporting inaccurate information stating I was late on the account. My credit report is still showing I have a late payment from One Main from XX/XX/XXXX. I have all documents and letters to prove they are reporting inaccurate information. No late payments should be reporting

They failed to provide me with the requested information, but instead provided me with my name, the last 4 of my social, and the amount supposedly owed. I have previously informed them that my ex husband XXXX XXXX is responsible for the debt as stated in our divorce documents. The debt was incurred through identity theft and deception. I also has insurance and liability on this loan in the case that anything should happen. I have contacted them and asked them to remove the erroneous information from my account, but they refuse to do so. My next step is sending them a letter stating my intent to sue.

Complaint: re : One Main Financial Adding Vehicle Insurance On Title Loan # XXXX On XX/XX/2018, in response to written communication received regarding failure to supply proof of insurance on vehicle used to secure funding, we faxed copy of Declaration Page for policy with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/XXXX Insurance to number supplied, along with a US Mail copy sent for the second time. On XX/XX/XXXX we received notice, that 'despite two prior notifications ' a 'Lender-Placed Insurance Premium Add-On ' premium of {$470.00} was being added to loan amount. On XX/XX/XXXX a call was placed to Customer Service seeking information as to why, despite confirmation of document received, we are being charged this unnecessary premium amount. 'XXXX ' informed us 1. Mail received requires a month to reach data entry department for update to account and 2. No telephone calls are initiated by One Main to account holder requesting a second fax, if one page of original fax was blurred or hard to read, which was the case here. On XX/XX/XXXX, via the 'Contact Us ' page on website, we sent a notice of our displeasure with how our communications were not acknowledged in a timely manner to avoid a {$470.00} additional fee. We explained and verified both mailing address in XXXX, GA and fax number indicated on their documents. We were reassured all was now ok with our account and the additional fees would be 'waived '. On XX/XX/XXXX, we received 'Creditor Placed Vehicle Insurance ' policy from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX IN, indicating amount due of {$470.00} was being added to loan amount. On Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX, e-mail was received from 'The Executive Office of Customer Care ', asking us to contact XXXX XXXX , @ XXXX, option 1, extension XXXX to address our concerns. No mention was made as to what time zone this person is located, so our first two calls from PST were disconnected when keying in all the numbers. We attempted an earlier time, and finally did make contact with XXXX XXXX who is in CST. Complaint: My main complaint here is that the branch manager of onemain financial in XXXX ohio, shared my personal account information ( loan balance, late payment status, payment history ) with someone who is NOT on my account, and not related. Sharing this information has caused a tremendous amount of issues in my life. The reason this happened was because I had used someones bank account to make a payment ONE TIME ( supposed to be one time ). I made payments in the future and those payments came out of that persons bank account again. They contacted the bank severeal times, local branch, main customer service, etc. in attempt to resolve the issue and get their money back. I did not have the money to pay them back. OneMain financial refused to give the money back, said there is nothing they can do, even though they know it was debited from the wrong account, an account that they should have never even saved the payment info as it was very clear during the original call that this was a one time payment. The advice from the bank was for that person to file a dispute with their bank if they need to ... so that is what was done. A dispute was filed with his bank. In the mean time, he had filed a complaint with the XXXX as well. XXXX contacted him immediately and then someone from the bank did shortly after. They mailed him a check which he cashed promptly to get his money back. Shortly after the dispute was still open, his bank gave him the money back and the dispute was closed in his favor ... One main now is trying to hold me responsible for the {$400.00} that they technically gave to them. However, if they would have given back the $ in the first place instead of insisting that they can not, and that they need to dispute it, that would not have happened. So that is one issue but not related to privacy, this is more of my complaint. He called in to speak to onemain financial because they reached out about the extra payment. He informed them that he is not returning the money, that he was so inconvenienced by all of the time spent dealing with this, having to go to his bank to dispute, etc. and that it's not his fault that the bank won the dispute and gave him the money back.. and I agree, if they would have refunded HIS money that was wrongfully taken from his account in the first place, that would not have happened. However during that call, the branch manager, XXXX, had shared information with him that he had no right to do so. He informed him of recent payment history, the account status and balance information. That private, sensitive information that should not have been shared to anyone without my consent. With that said, that issue has put an end to a 6 year relationship, I am now in the process of searching for somewhere to live because of that, etc and has turned my life upside down because he shared private information that I do believe is technically illegal to even do so. And on top of that the bank is threatening to add {$400.00} to my balance if I do not pay it back, and i do not have an extra {$400.00} to give them because of their mistake.

Per Federal reporting regulations and the MANDATED COMPLIANT Metro 2 format reporting standards of practice any and all items of adversary or derogatory nature must be certified as entirely true, accurate, complete, timely, of documented ownership, of undoubted responsibility, and documented testimonial certificate of compliance marking undeniable lawful standing of claim ( s ). Per law, any deficient of substantial and evident matters of fact ( s ) would be unethically reported and even illegally reported. Complaint: After trying to work directly with One Main, I reached out to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. In the attached zip file is my complaint to the XXXX and One Mains response. I feel this gives a good overview of the situation. To address One Mains response to the XXXX : 1 ) In XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX, no one with OM could explain why I had an outstanding balance. Since I did not send a personal check I had to work with customer service at both companies myself to try to find out what happened. In XXXX XXXX did tell me they stopped payment on the {$1200.00} check, said it would take 10-15 business days but they would reissue a check. I called and let XXXX XXXX with OM know about this. After about 10 days I called XXXX back to see if a check was sent yet. I was transferred to a Manager who apologized and said I was given incorrect information, they had already reissued a check in the total payoff amount of {$5100.00} in XX/XX/XXXX, so my loan had been paid off. From there the XXXX Manager offered to have a conference call with XXXX XXXX ( on XX/XX/XXXX ), which we had, I sent a copy of the check to XXXX. From there XXXX said he agreed my loan was paid off and would escalate this to their executive care department. 2 ) I want to reiterate the time line again. In order to get OM paid off in XX/XX/XXXXI worked with their office for 2 months, confirmed the mailing address several times, called every other week to see if they received the check. I did not have this issue with any other creditor. I received verbal confirmation twice from OM the loan was paid off & received a refund check. In XX/XX/XXXX when OM contacted me for the first time, I spent the majority of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX trying to find out what happened. After XXXX XXXX escalated this to the executive care department in XX/XX/XXXX, it took them until XX/XX/XXXX to verbally explain what happened. From there I requested a written explanation of fees. The first time I received a semblance of a written fee explanation was in OMs response to the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I dont understand how OM can accept payoff, then contact me 11 months later, immediately report me to the credit agencies and refuse to provide a written explanation of fees. All I would get is a bill with a total amount due and late fee amounts. I asked for a written explanation of fees in XX/XX/XXXX, it took them until XX/XX/XXXX to provide and through the whole process they can continue to degrade my credit. On top of that they can charge me penalties and interest for the year when I was unaware of any issue. I can understand if I was non-responsive but I have OM on speed dial Ive had so many conversations with them about this. Now my time frame before this becomes a serious delinquency on my credit is less than 2 weeks ( the OM rep XXXX notified me of this ). This will impact all my future loan transactions. How is it fair that they can re-open a paid off loan, almost a year later, refuse to give me an explanation of fees and demand I pay an arbitrary amount in their time frame or they will essentially ruin my credit. Through this whole process OM has treated me as if I did something wrong, they gave me short time frames for settlements or charges would continue to incur, when all I was trying to do was resolve this disaster. I was an excellent customer, never a late payment, each month I put additional towards the principal of the loan. Im concerned if I dont get a clear explanation of fees, what will stop them from coming back to me 6 months to a year down the road and telling me that again I owe them additional fees. Please help me get a clear explanation of fees and help rectify the credit score I have been trying hard to maintain. I included a zip file with : XXXX complaint, OM response to XXXX, information from the credit agencies showing the OM loan paid off, then re-opened & another showing that OM is my one debt in negative standing. Problem with the payoff process at the end of the loan

Complaint: After trying to work directly with One Main, I reached out to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. In the attached zip file is my complaint to the XXXX and One Mains response. I feel this gives a good overview of the situation. Please read those documents first, the below is additional information after a response was received from One Main. To address One Mains response to the XXXX : 1 ) In XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX, no one with OM could explain why I had an outstanding balance. Since I did not send a personal check I had to work with customer service at both companies myself to try to find out what happened. In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX did tell me they stopped payment on the {$1200.00} check, said it would take 10-15 business days but they would reissue a check. I called and let XXXX XXXX with OM know about this. After about 10 days I called XXXX back to see if a check was sent yet. I was transferred to a Manager who apologized and said I was given incorrect information, they had already reissued a check in the total payoff amount of {$5100.00} in XX/XX/XXXX, so my loan had been paid off. From there the XXXX Manager offered to have a conference call with XXXX XXXX ( on XX/XX/XXXX ), which we had, I sent a copy of the check to XXXX. From there XXXX said he agreed my loan was paid off and would escalate this to their executive care department. 2 ) I want to reiterate the time line again. In order to get OM paid off in XX/XX/XXXX I worked with their office for 2 months, confirmed the mailing address several times, called every other week to see if they received the check. I did not have this issue with any other creditor. I received verbal confirmation twice from OM the loan was paid off & received a refund check. In XX/XX/XXXX when OM contacted me for the first time, I spent the majority of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX trying to find out what happened. After XXXX XXXX escalated this to the executive care department in XX/XX/XXXX, it took them until XX/XX/XXXX to verbally explain what happened. From there I requested a written explanation of fees. The first time I received a semblance of a written fee explanation was in OMs response to the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I dont understand how OM can accept payoff, then contact me 11 months later, immediately report me to the credit agencies and refuse to provide a written explanation of fees. All I would get is a bill with a total amount due and late fee amounts. I asked for a written explanation of fees in XX/XX/XXXX, it took them until XX/XX/XXXX to provide and through the whole process they can continue to degrade my credit. On top of that they can charge me penalties and interest for the year when I was unaware of any issue. I can understand if I was non-responsive but I have OM on speed dial Ive had so many conversations with them about this. Now my time frame before this becomes a serious delinquency on my credit is less than 2 weeks ( the OM rep XXXX notified me of this ). This will impact all my future loan transactions. How is it fair that they can re-open a paid off loan, almost a year later, refuse to give me an explanation of fees and demand I pay an arbitrary amount in their time frame or they will essentially ruin my credit. Through this whole process OM has treated me as if I did something wrong, they gave me short time frames for settlements or charges would continue to incur, when all I was trying to do was resolve this disaster. I was an excellent customer, never a late payment, each month I put additional towards the principal of the loan. Im concerned if I dont get a clear explanation of fees, what will stop them from coming back to me 6 months to a year down the road and telling me that again I owe them additional fees. Please help me get a clear explanation of fees and help rectify the credit score I have been trying hard to maintain. I included a zip file with : XXXX complaint, OM response to XXXX, information from the credit agencies showing the OM loan paid off, then re-opened & another showing that OM is my one debt in negative standing. I also included the copy of the {$5100.00} check XXXX sent to OM and the email I sent to XXXX XXXX with this information so he could escalate to the executive care department.
