Talked to a third party about my debt
Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2016 at around XXXX I called national credit systems at XXXX and was transferred to XXXX XXXX. I inquired about settling the debt for {$2000.00}, with the original amount being just under {$3900.00}. XXXX informed that she would have to submit a formal request to the original creditors, XXXX on XXXX, the apartment units I originally owed money to. When I asked about obtaining a copy of this formal request for my records she denied me this request and said I have no right to know what they are sending. I explained to her that as a consumer I felt I did have a right to a copy of this request since it has my name and it is a request for a financial settlement. I was again denied this request later in the day after being transferred to her supervisor, XXXX XXXX. On XXXX I reached out to XXXX XXXX who is XXXX and XXXX 's manager. XXXX also informed me that he is unwilling to provide me with the official request that was being sent to XXXX because it is client privilege and he does not have to release such documents. I asked him he could then provide me with a letter from the company to myself stating that they sent a formal request to XXXX on XXXX inquiring about a possible settlement for my account. He also refused to provide me with this letter. As a consumer, I feel that I am entitled to keep track of what this company is doing regarding my inquiries to settle this debt. Their refusal to provide me with any documentation of their attempts is making me question if they are really taking these actions at all.

Debt is not mine
Complaint: There is a collection company that is illegally and erroneously reporting a debt due, I already requested an investigation thru all XXXX credit bureaus and I have been unsuccessful. The company still says that the debt is due when there was never one. The collection company is showing a debt due as a rental/leasing category from an original creditor when I never even rented from them. Need this item removed from my credit inmediately.

Talked to a third party about my debt
Complaint: The debt in question is in dispute, and according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, National Credit Systems , Inc. has stated they reported this debt to all XXXX credit bureaus in the latest letter we received. Once more, we gave evidence to show them per their request, the issues surrounding our " special '' circumstance as to why we no longer live at the address in question. Instead of handling and actually looking into the matter, we got a " robo '' letter with changed dates from one of their many locations of their company sent to us with the same explanation as to how they do not see sufficient evidence to validate our claim. I believe we are fighting with a computer and not an actual company. I believe now I am going to have to fight back and take action, and I am beginning with you. They must comply with the Fair Credit Act and take us off the credit report. It is against the law when a consumer is disputing a debt to still report a debt. I am sure the fines they would get from the government for this would outweigh my debt tenfold.

Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed

Debt collection: Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.)

Debt is not mine
Complaint: I received a debt collection notice from National Credit System ( NCS ) regarding my refusal to pay a debt owed to XXXX on the Lake for carpet replacement in the amount of {$1000.00}. This is a debt that I was totally unaware of and do not owe. I have contested this bill and requested proof of the allegations and NCS would not provide any additional information regarding my request. Instead they were threatening me to pay this bill without any explanation as to how XXXX came to the conclusion that I was responsible for total carpet replacement in my apartment without notifying me of the damages. I provided them with my copy of the final walk thru paperwork that the XXXX management team completed which made no mention of the carpet needing to be cleaned, repaired or replaced. I lived in the apartment for two years and three months prior to my departure I received my free carpet cleaning from the XXXX Maintenance Staff for renewing my lease. NCS has reported this erroneous information to the credit reporting agencies, and now my son and I have this negative information on our credit report without a thorough explanation or proof of damages.

Disclosure verification of debt

Debt collection: Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.)

Not given enough info to verify debt
Complaint: I have sent over 3 letters to National Credit Systems, asking them to verify the debt they say I owe and advised them the original creditor has already removed their reporting of the debt off of my credit due to bill being fictitious and made up by a property manager who was upset that we made a complaint against her with the corporate office. After investigating our claims of this manager not repairing things in a timely manner and refusing to move our family in a new unit after a neighbors unit caught on fire and partially burn down ours, they fired her but it came after we had already moved out. The company keeps sending me a copy of my lease with the original creditor in which I have with a made up bill from that property manager with her name on the bill. There was no furniture left in the unit and nor were we evicted from the property, and all keys to the unit and mail box was turned in to management. This reporting on my credit is preventing me from obtaining a pre approval letter for a home loan and damaging my credit worthiness. The fire happened on XXXX XXXX, 2013 at night while we were away from the home. We were called to get as much out as possible and my family was placed in a hotel for a couple of days and not allowed back in for over a week. I moved out on XXXX XXXX, 2013 due to their property manager stating she did not have another unit to put my family in but she allowed our neighbors to move into another unit who stayed on the other side of the burned down unit. My youngest son has XXXX and the smell of the smoke was too intense and our townhome was no longer suitable for living in. I advised corporate after moving what happened and was told I would not owe them anything and they apologize for the actions of their employee. In the end there was no eviction and there was no bills left unpaid. I have attempted to call National Credit Systems and asked them for the President or CEO name and I get hung up on, I have been forwarded to supervisors voicemail with no return call. So Im to the point where I want to report this collection company and possibly need to report XXXX of the reporting agencies for ignoring my requests to have this information deleted off of my credit. Its my understanding that they can not report anything that have been properly verified according to law. National Credit Systems Inc, employees are rude and when you are an informed consumer they prefer not to talk to you. I was told just like " I do not know you I do not know who the CEO or President is of our company we have XXXX account. '' This is what XXXX . XXXX XXXX told me earlier today and he forward me to a XXXX XXXX voicemail after asking to speak with a supervisor. When I called back to see if I can speak to a supervisor on duty I was told no one was available. My account number with this company is XXXX.

Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed

Debt is not mine
Complaint: National Credit Systems is unlawfully reporting an account on all XXXX of my credit reports that does not belong to me.In contacting this debt collecting agency to request debt validation for the account ( XXXX apartments ) I was told that the wrong information was uploaded to this account, that supposedly belongs to me, ( that there was information there under this account with my personal information on it, but that the documentation that they have to support it is incorrect and belongs to someone else ) and that they did not have any type of original contract etc to provide at the moment. I was also told by the representative XXXX XXXX XXXX that she would request this information from the said original creditor and to wait a weeks time. I also spoke with XXXX 's supervisor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who also advised me of the same thing, that he would request this information and to wait a weeks time. It is now concluding week XXXX and I have yet to receive and type of documentation. After first waiting for a response, I decided to contact the original creditor ( XXXX apartments ) and spoke with the manager directly who informed me that there was no knowledge of an account under my name. She also stated that if there were, the agency should have it, which again, both the representative and her supervisor stated that they did not but that they were requesting. I then contacted the agency again and was informed by XXXX that there were XXXX request over the past few weeks made by both herself as well as her supervisor, but nothing was ever received. XXXX then stated that she did not know what was going on and that she could only inform me of what she was seeing which was that someone else 's information had been scanned to an account that supposedly belongs to me and that XXXX requests were made to obtain this information but that nothing was ever received. I was then transferred to her supervisor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX who stated that they would no longer take anymore phone calls from me and that I needed to have an attorney contact them, which I find odd since they are reporting me in an attempt to collect a debt which again does not belong to me. XXXX XXXX then disconnected the call while I was still attempting to inform him that this creditor stated that there was no documentation of any kind.

Complaint: I have asked National Credit System to validate a collection they are reporting on my credit reports on XXXX/XXXX/16 and XXXX/XXXX/16 and they have failed to provide anything that would support the fact that they are attempting to collect interest on a debt without an agreement or contract. Complaint: First I received a notice in the mail but not until XX/XX/XXXX I moved from there XX/XX/XXXX.I immediately contacted them to dispute that this was mine and they had already sent it to collections and put it on my credit 2 months prior to me receiving the notice.I was very upset to say the least. An error had been mADE I explained to the lady on the phone and I could proove I immediately put the docements together and sent to them in return I wanted to see what proof they could provide and OF course it was nothing but hand written lies .I asked for photos since they were trying to charge me for damages and they have yet to provide me with any.I however have plenty of photos prooving that there was a leak in this apartment and the mold damage, and along with a letter from the management ackknowledgement that I would not be charged damages and that I was moved out XX/XX/XXXX and they still wont remove this collection. This has caused me to not get employed in my profession and Im also trying to buy a house. Also I moved from this place in XX/XX/XXXX. Why did it take over 2 years for them to decide to place this file in collections? This file was placed on my credit report XX/XX/XXXX why not after I moved in XX/XX/XXXX if this was really mine.

Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: I initially moved into XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, IL in XXXX after XXXX. Before I signed the lease, I had authorization from XXXX to received XXXX in order to pay for the apartment, as well as their approval to live off base. Shortly after I signed the lease my command and I learned that the base would not authorize both the XXXX pay and the off-base housing. I had no option but to withdraw from XXXX XXXX. My command supervisors had worked out an agreement with management so that I may leave the apartment. The verbal agreement was XXXX XXXX kept my security deposit and I pay the rest of the month 's worth of rent. The rent was somewhere around {$500.00}. One of my supervisors personally handled that affair. I did not sign any papers for the agreement. Nor did I receive and collection notices, phone calls, or mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I received a call from National Credit Systems with an attempt to collect {$3000.00}. I immediately opted to dispute the charges. Between XXXX and XXXX XXXX, 2016 I have been submitted letters, government documents, and statements from the supervisors involved with the debacle to help support my dispute. On XXXX XXXX, 2016, one of the managers from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX made it a point to call me, or rather harass me. The conversation summed up to be her claiming that my statements and the statements from my supervisors were " falsified, '' that they did not indeed accept or receive the ~ {$500.00} payment, and that my supervisors and I were " dishonorable. '' She also stated she felt threatened, that we were after her to get her fired. I did not say much in reply throughout the entire phone call, as I felt insulted. The next day I received a call from a representative of National Credit Systems Inc. The representative stated that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would not accept the documents, that they did not receive the ~ {$500.00} payment, and the amount stands as {$3000.00}. The representative also went on to say XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would settle to {$2000.00}. I again opted to dispute the charge. As of XXXX, 2016 XXXX showed that my XXXX report had a " past due '' amount of {$3000.00}. I have since submitted another letter to National Credit Systems asking to dispute the charge, as well as dispute the charge on my credit reports.

Not given enough info to verify debt
Complaint: I am requesting that this claim be removed from my credit report. The creditor 's claim was made on XXXX 2010 ( over 6 years ago ) and I never received documentation on this claim. I have XXXX debt collection agencies requiring payment for the same claim originally sold to them by XXXX XXXX XXXX of Alabama. I have verified over the phone with both debt collection agencies that the claims are from XXXX XXXX XXXX and for the SAME CLAIM made by XXXX XXXX XXXX. In order to verify this in documentation I have pursued National Credit Systems seeking documentation on the claim. These are the steps I have taken with National Credit Systems : 1. I have never received any documentation on the claim from National Credit Systems, they are required to send me documentation of the details of the claim made. 2. I called National Credit System 's home office and spoke to a representative requesting documentation of their claim, verifying my current address. No documentation was ever sent to me. 3. I sent a letter ( attached below ) requesting documentation of claim XXXX within 30 days requiring they remove the claim from my credit report if not received. No documentation was sent to me. 4. After 30 days of the first letter I sent a second letter ( attached below ) again requesting documentation or claim XXXX or to remove the claim from my report. No documentation was sent to me. 5. I contacted National Credit Systems over the phone and spoke to a representative requesting documentation, I also informed them that another debt collection agency was seeking payment for the same claim and they needed to be contacted. Again no documentation of claim XXXX was ever sent to me. The original claim made by XXXX XXXX XXXX in 2010 was that I had not given them proper notice to end my lease ( 60 days ). I gave them a 30 day notice before my lease agreement ended for job transfer to another state. I forfeited my deposit to them for this reason and they still attempted to require of me moneys even though the deposit would cover the extra 30 days rent. I never agreed to their pursuit of extra rent money and thus they sold the claim to XXXX different collection agencies. The original claim made by XXXX XXXX was erroneous and National Credit Systems was required to send me documentation of this claim and never did so. Please remove this claim from my report. Thank you
